Just received mine yesterday in 7mm rem mag ,new in 2021 mine has the fluted bolt like the premiere series has .
I cannot wait to break the barrel in and Hit the bench taking it to Montana for muleys in November.

Amazing rifle, just got mine in yesterday in 300 prc. The improvements over the original HMR are well worth the extra cost. Also it puts to shame the new browning xbolt long range that's actually at the same price point

I own the 2021 version of this rifle in 300 PRC and absolutely love it! Very accurate and the quality is so much better than the other rifles I have had in this price point. I decided today, to purchase the exact same gun in 6.5 PRC. I love these. The best deal out there for a hunting and match type rifle in my opinion.

I went 4 for 10 out of my 6.5 PRC at a mile hornady match ammo, 7 mph wind.... 57.25 Moa dialed. NIGHTFORCE ATACR. And I need a ammo sponsor 😍🤗👍🏼

Just picked one of these up today. I’m in love! Absolutely beautiful.
Just got done mounting a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15x44 ffp, looking forward to heading up to the cabin to sight it in and break in the barrel.
    Life is good. :)

How is it? I’m thinking of getting a wilderness ridge in 6.5 creed

Somewhat agree. This is far from "a ton of new features". Feels like really just adding new colors and increasing the street price 10-ish%. I dont think this really bridges the gap to the HMR pro so much as it makes the original HMR a little more "H" (cerakote, camo), rather than "M" (SS barrel, upgraded action, Trigger, etc) for ~$75. I bought it and wish i had just gone HMR pro for the trigger and action and barrel.

Bonjour, does wilderness version has the same. footprint like the B14 version previous ? compatible with chassis which is for remington 700? thanks a lot

I’m not saying that the stock isn’t a huge selling point, but it’s your barreled action and their reputations, especially for their price point, that make the gun. The semi fancy adjustable stock with a more vertical grip, qd studs, 1/2 chassis bedding, etc., wouldn’t sell a rifle that doesn’t shoot good.
Imo this is everything that Remington SHOULD have been doing with their 700’s. They just don’t have your level of quality control and have gotten a bad reputation in recent years. One might be a shooter, but the next might not be able to hold a group to save its life. Who wants that? I’m sure that you have fluctuations in your line, but that’s the difference between a sub half moa gun and a slightly under 1 moa gun. You’re just not letting trash out the door. Your reputation for accuracy is why I am going to buy a wilderness hmr, not just the stock. “Only accurate rifles are interesting”

Bergara doesn’t care enough about left handed shooters to make anything aside from the HMR.

You changed the finish, which wasn't needed. Added a dated ineffective muzzle brake design, and changed the stock color? And then jack the price up $200 to $300 according to your website MSRP. The original B14 HMR is a better rifle for the money. This is a classic marketing attempt to get a few more bucks out of people pockets by adding un-needed changes then selling it as "feature rich."

Shelf price is more like $100-200 difference. The cerakote on the barreled action alone is worth that.

The difference in price is around $75 at Bud’s. For that you get a cerakote barrel, 24” vs. 22” in barrel length. To me that is absolutely worth an extra $75. I just ordered mine from Bud’s. As for the muzzle brake. Who cares? You would have to put one on the regular HMR anyway.

Cerakote is not needed? maybe if you only shoot in perfect weather conditions. I hunt. Snow...rain...you name it. Cerekote is an AWESOME add. And upgraded Trigger. Worth $200 any day. And why bring up MSRP??? do you actually pay MSRP?? I just ordered a Wilderness Terrain (same as HMR except slightly different stock) for $999. That is the definition of VALUE.

Mine is a 2021 with cerekote which is huge for me and also the fluted bolt and I paid 1029$ for mine ,my buddy just bought the browning with a sporter .barrel no qd cups or adjustable comb or stock and paid a100$ bucks more so I can't complain much.
