I was born in San Luis Obispo and raised in Arroyo Grande. I remember seeing the billboard, I remember seeing Paul Flores in the grocery store and having my mom push me behind her and tell me not to make eye contact with him. The evidence that was found in the Huasna area had everything to do with him. Also some other information that has come to light has everything to do with another person who came forward bacause of it. These two people are presumed to be witnesses in this case.

I don't know if that makes sense, but basically if she walked Kristen back to safety, then left, it could have wound up being her, instead. I agree, she shouldn't have left her alone, she should have stuck around or tried to get campus police or something, but I think it's more on the guy who was with them, since he knew Paul was creepy as well and he left. the other girl was probably trying to protect herself, as well. Human blood mixed in soil were also found in the dirt surrounding Rueben’s deck though no DNA was able to be recovered. Those cops thought I was crazy and I told them that if I had to dig up a dead body cuz they don't have time to, then I would sue the crap out of them and make sure the whole world knew of their incompetence. Then they said they would come out the next day and I said that they need to get there before 6am cuz they need to be there when it goes off. They never came out and I called day after day hour after hour until they finally showed up pissed at me for all the trouble. Ridiculous. They heard it go off and said, "so that's it??" Um, yeah, that is what I said the couple hundred times I called. They turned around and left. I decided to dig it myself and I finally found it but no body there. Nice watch though. I have literally dragged girls out of bars because they wanted to stay to find a party after last call when I was leaving. We came together to the bar, we leave together from the bar. You want to scream in my face you hate me, cool, we can never talk again if that's what you want. But you're getting in the taxi with me and going home.
My friend once went out and was walking from one bar to meet friends at another and she got pulled into an alley by a man, and the scariest part is that people walked by and looked right at her fighting to get away, hearing her scream for help, and they just looked away and kept walking. No one is going anywhere alone if they're with me.
Not one girl has ever called me the next day and been mad. At the time, they're drunk and think I'm ruining their fun, the next day they're grateful because they were too intoxicated to have been cautious and something bad definitely could've happened.
I have always been terrified of this happening. It wouldn't have been my fault, it wasn't this girl's fault, but I'd for sure feel like it was for the rest of my life. We deserve a world where people feel safe alone no matter where they are, but that's not what we have, and it 100% can happen to you.

Paul Flores acted like he was trying to help her get home safe… people should be able to defend themselves, that’s one of the many reasons I support the right for college students to be taught to use and carry a firearm. A firearm is the great equalizer. Even the thought that someone might be carrying could prevent them as being seen as an easy target. I’m talking about being trained and required to prove that you are being responsible. An intoxicated person behind the wheel of a car is extremely dangerous, so I believe that if we’re going to allow college students to drive, we should allow them to protect themselves and others.
*I know I’m not expressing a popular opinion. Thankfully we have the 1st amendment in the United States, and the 2nd to protect it! 🇺🇸

One important correction since this video was made, they now have eyewitnesses saying they are quite sure she was incredibly intoxicated (laying down on the lawn) after just 1-2 drinks. She was 6’1”. There is no way she was that intoxicated from just a couple drinks. She was drugged. It was premeditated rape, if not straight up premeditated murder.
