This broke my heart. She fought cancer twice, was faced with death twice only to turn around and be murdered by someone she thought loved her. Someone who celebrated with her when she finished her cancer treatments. Susan, rest easy and fly among the stars. I am so sorry this happened.

Isn't that just insane? It's like when service men/women go off to war and survive but then come home to die in a car accident or just being in the wrong place. She was a warrior. God bless her soul. And I pray for her girls!!!
This story honestly just broke my heart, I hate it that she fought cancer twice and survived and she was killed by the person who she thought she could trust and love. I hope she’s watching over her daughters and that she gets the justice she deserves

Especially in a small town like this; when everyone knows everyone, police have to keep this stuff pretty quiet to avoid likely tipping off the suspect.

As of 2 days ago a judge denied the prosecutions the use of Barry's prior domestic violence against Suzanne in the trial. The judge basically said that his domestic violence is irrelevant to the murder case. So crazy that a judge wouldn't think prior domestic violence wouldn't have anything to do with murder. Hopefully Suzanne daughters get justice for their mom
I'm just watching this video now, imagine my absolute disbelief when I Googled for an update at the end only to find out that all changes were dropped just days ago. And of course the ACTUAL voter fraud will be swept under the rug as well.

Really ages ago this was the only way. If your partner died you where free. No divorce possible… but now it’s SO easy to get a divorce. But people and money it’s something nasty, as most people know divorce can cost money 😕. I have no money but I choose money over living with the fact I would murder someone especially someone I once loved and the mother of my children 😱😨

Most couples simply worked together until they died, they didn't all murder each other - poor people could marry for love, while the minority were wealthy and married for status, and there was a lot more brutal punishment for murder and adultery back then.

Hi! My stepdad actually went to high school with both Barry and Suzanne. Our family has been following this case sooo closely. It came out that Suzanne was actually having an affair with a man named Jeff Libler (who also went to high school with Barry, Suzanne, and my stepdad) for a while and it's suspected that Barry could've walked in on her texting Jeff pictures of herself just minutes before her phone stopped tracking her. They were having ongoing marriage problems and Suzanne told Barry in text message that she was done and wanted a divorce. Days later she goes missing. Possible motive? Let's not forget that the day Suzanne was reported missing Barry stopped at 5 different dumpsters "dropping off trash". There is an incredibly detailed affidavit that talks about everything in the case including the affair Suzanne was having. It's available for the public to read just by a Google search. If you're interested in knowing more about the case I would definitely recommend reading it! Justice will be served.
And here they're saying he was having an affair if he was faithful to her then finding out she cheated would've caused him to snap but he didn't have to kill her he could've just filed for divorce & left. If Suzanne was still alive her affair would've came out & her daughters would've been crushed by this.

Owing to the emergence of relevant evidence, Barry Morphew was arrested for the murder of his wife in May 2021, approximately a year after Suzanne's disappearance. However, Barry is now a free man after the renewed verdict by the court on April 19, 2022, clearing him of all charges

I don't think they will find a body since Barry made 5 "garbage stops" at dumpsters the day after she disappeared. My theory is she was dismembered....so it looks like he may well get away with murder sadly

He married her a little after she got her leucemia diagnosis (thinking she would not survive). Then when he found out she was cured in 2020, he snapped and killed her himself to get to life insurance policy. That is my theory.
I just said he was mad cause the Hodgkin's didn't take her out. Completely plausible.

This narrative of the husband seems extremely shady, although being from another part of the world I couldn't say how shade that would be ;-)
@Kai I can personally say, there have been 4 attacks in my area over the course of 10 years. All 4 attacks were people who weren’t from this area at all. All non fatal.

It's always a sign to me when someone refuses to talk to the media because they are "casting them in a bad light". If I was searching for a loved one, I wouldn't care what people were saying. The most important thing is FINDING my loved one and getting as many people involved, as possible.
These poor daughters must be going through so much. Death of their mother. Father is questionable. Rumors are flying.

Let's not forget he wanted Suzanne classified as officially dead but her parents wouldn't agree to it and also he wanted something to do with the children put in his name so he could access the life insurance which was placed in the kid's names.

I literally just watched this case this afternoon, I am now reading an article in People about how Mrs. Morphew's body has been found. Such a heartbreaking end to this. I am glad that her daughters will have some closure & they have gotten their mother back, in some way. Thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones ❤️
Suzanne Morphew was so brave. Going through chemotherapy twice for Hodgkin's Lymphoma!!! When I was five, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Just going through chemotherapy once took quite a large toll on my body, even now, almost 11 years later. I still have screwed up metabolism, memory, and fine motor skills. What an amazing person.

Update May 2022, the charges against Barry have been dropped without prejudice. Authorities say they are close to finding her body, and want to wait to file charges until they have her body.
I hope their family gets the justice they deserve. Thoughts and love for Suzanne and her loved ones. ♥️

My first 2 red flags: his faith was really important to him (so often just a facade) and as a tech-savvy fireman he couldn't even provide the brand of her bike. All the guys like him I ever met can rattle off any tech name they come across and even bond over it.
She survived cancer 2 times and then got killed. No fairness, she didn't deserve it. He also could have feared that she would become a costly liability because of her cancer.
I would like to point out how wonderful Kendall is. She has built a very important platform which she uses to make an impact on the families and victims of these cases. This is such a pure audience. You can tell by the views that Kendall receives (over 50% of her subscribers watching the videos which is basically unheard of). With all the drama happening on the internets right now, I’m thankful to have an impactful creator to watch. Thank you for making a difference!
Kendall & Josh also provide a wonderful home for myriad types of rescue animals! Their podcasts are simultaneously insightful and enjoyable. To me, they appear to be a delightfully well-suited couple (a rare gem) who genuinely love and respect each other...and I am SO very here for THAT. P.S. Shenanigans ensue, on occasion!

yeah it is, my mum passed one week after mothers day, I'm thankful I got to spend mothers day with her in hospital, she was trying to hold on till my birthday which is the 20th but she passed on the 16th so the whole month is hard. I always feel for kids who have also lost their parent/s young. It's heartbreaking, I can't imagine the conflict you would feel if your parent killed your other parent.

The day she was murdered he was acting weird at work and sent his employee home hours early saying he had to "make the wife happy and take her hiking" she was probably already dead at that point though because he was spotted shopping all around town all Saturday afternoon. I bet they got him on tape and receipts showing that he was shopping for stuff to clean up the murder scene. Then he drove south to dump the body, didn't have any other reason to drive south.
That would explain the chlorine smell in the hotel room. Chlorine/bleach…. Probably trying to clean up his mess. Possibly the tarp too
If he killed her in hotel room, then there should be a video, where they are coming to the hotel together, and he's leaving alone with huge bag/luggage. That should be suspish at the very beginning.
Actually...I know their friend and neighbor...they as in Barry and Suzanne were shopping together Saturday and had dinner together (maybe for MD) since he'd be working and the reason they were doing things together saturday. The girls were suppose to be home early Sunday but something happened.

“He was a little uncomfortable at her chemo treatments” HE DID IT
I had a huge soft recliner in my chemo lab and visitors got this small hard plastic waiting chair. My step dad looked a bit uncomfortable sitting in it. But of course he said he was fine and stayed with me.
@@misscabbyp7198 yep same at my treatments. I always go alone. My first chemo my husband went just in case I had to take Benadryl. I didn’t I sent him home until I was done it was a 6 hour treatment. I prefer to go alone I don’t want to entertain anyone. I want to color, read, play games, watch UA-cam, etc.
I’ve been doing treatments for over 3 1/2 years. Now it’s just an hour for 2 autoimmune drugs.
I can see how uncomfortable it would be visitors though on those hard little chairs.
I went to one of my step moms treatments once, I did NOT wanna be there. So so sad and uncomfortable.
*sigh* That isn't proof of anything. I wish people would understand that not everyone is comfortable in a hospital setting. I worked as a nurse. If that is a sign of guilt, I met a lot of guilty people, lol.
I'm so glad you finally covered this! My hometown is Anderson, IN and my mother-in-law was good friends with Suzanne.

My grandfather was a big hunter and so is my brother - that doesn't cause you to murder your wife though... My family knows many hunters and no spouse was ever murdered...

Hey. They just dropped the charges 2 days ago but are still open to press charges again. The judge forced them to drop the charges.
I learnt about the same info about charges being dropped through a podcast, that ignited my interest to find out more about the case. True the judges not allowing to use most testimonies, does make it a weaker case.

Not related but I have a friend that I grew up with and his wife’s sister is missing in Baltimore Maryland. Her name is Crystal Marie Fry. The case seems like it’s getting no coverage and it’s sad. Might be something to cover in the future.

As a rule, I don’t trust anyone who hunts big game for “sport.” I also don’t trust anyone who’s whereabouts/reasons for being away don’t add up, who’s hotel room & home smell like chlorine, especially within 24 hrs of their spouse going missing, any concerned spouse providing “theories” ad nauseam despite being debunked by authorities, you catch my drift? We’ll learn more in time; but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out. My heart goes out to her daughters & loved ones.

For someone whos wife just gone missing, Barry doesn't look very emotional or sad. And he was also very quick with assuming that she's dead. Missing people's families are usually the ones who holds on to the hope that their loved one will be found alive..?
If my partner was missing I'd be living on bread and water, rather than trying to go and sell houses etc like Barry was. How could a judge let him go off and sell shared property and act like he was scott free when he was a suspect?
