I think Tabata is really setting up for a massive final battle with lucius like what happened with lucifero when all the captains came in but on a whole new level. Seeing Yami and Ichika do a combo spell and then Licht getting involved was insane they really pushed the power system to its limits. I wish more series did like Black Clover and had combo moves so simple but its peak everytime
I just hope it is better than the lucifero fight, I didn't hate that fight but comparing it to the dark triad fights I found it underwhelming, I hope the Lucius fight is epic, watching some of characters working together and then Asta and Yuno finishing the fight together could be the biggest manga event of the decade (assuming it happens before 2030 😂)
This is not Yami's devil form. Many fans are confusing it. Not once the Devil heart was shown in these chapters. This is the 1st phase of his Kijin form, same as Ichika. While Ichika has her complete Kijin form without any devil heart. If you look carefully the Horns & the beats are made of Dark Magic, same as Ichika's armor.
I think Nacht's 4x Devil Union form design is underwhelming, I still think it's cool that we finally see him combine all his devils. And the 4 shields floating around him make it cooler. The sword he formed and pierced through Morgan also looked badass.

SO just beacuse someone performed an ftl feat doesnt mean they can replicate it on a mass scale as they can be overwheled even if they can react which makes sence as 1 light attack is not the same as 100 light speed attacks at the same time

4:00 I think you could argue that it's true because according to the ideology in the demon world, every devil has to obey the King of devils, which was particularly Lucifero, and since Lucius killed and absorbed the power of his remaining half in the underworld, it should make him the new demon king and that's why adramalech and other devils are prone to obey him, even if Tabata may bring a twist for adramalech's case. It's still partially understandable that he's being controlled by lucifugus through Lucius' command.
the last segment about the horns reminds me of an old theory during early spade arc. Which talks about the idea that each continent has its own rule(rs), and so its own Qliphoth. The idea seems off before, but kinda have a light now that Yoryoku is a thing. Same system, different naming but culturely significant. So if Black Clover want to have a sequel, it could go with God of War route with exploraing different mythos 😅
Yami's Demon God form is very much based on Vasto Lorde Ichigo. They both have the Horns, cuffs, the chest and face markings, the Black Cloth around the legs. The only element Vasto Lorde Ichigo has that Demon God Yami doesn't have is the Long hair, but Demon God Yami does have the Black Cape which seems to be the substitution. Also Yami's hair in the front turns White and stands up, might be a reference to Dai's Ryuumajin Transformation from Dragon Quest.
In a story I'm writing, I have a character whose appearance is massively inspired by Nacht when he first appeared. I needed this for inspiration. Thanks. 😅
I believe the Sea God statue is actually Lucifero since Poseidon and Satan often get confused with each other. Ex: Megicula devil design is inspired by the Greek Goddess Artemis statue. Lucius has two suns on top of his head which Ra with Lucifer and Isis with Astaroth. Gravity does cause ocean tides similar to Poseidon power. It is possible Tabata is combining devils with their God/Goddess counterparts. Supreme Devil means Devil God/Goddess. Also, Benzaiten sealed the evil dragon yet use weather powers. When Magna and Luck used anti magic their attacks all started with "black" e.g black lightning magic (though in the source I'm reading secret flame magic became dark black flame magic???). Nacht and Ichika (idk spelling) are not using this naming convention for their shadow magic and dark yojutsu. The new chapters make no mention as far as I can tell of them using anti-magic, not through any of their comments or their opponents' comments. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're not using anti-magic, just pushing past their limits (and using demon soul pill in Yami's case). Anyway, I was really hoping for Yami to learn something new from his sister e.g her transformation or zetten, but the demon soul pill was cool too. Unrelated, but what are all the implications of Yami's devil heart? What are the implications, if any, for Liebe? (He's been shown getting injured before, do devils usually regenerate naturally or are those regeneration spells?) What rank is Liebe and howww does true devil union boast 5 horns between 1 devil and 1 "human" when all other devils have 2-4 each? Also, I miss devil union armour (it was so cool!) and by extension true devil union. If only time was stopped or something and Asta could go full strength with no time limit! Sorry for the ramble, in short Black Clover is awesome!

that's fair but monthly by many authors is also brutal with deadlines and as some reading a series that went monthly recently the page count is still affected by how much the mangaka can make in that time the 50-60 pages with this release wouldn't happen with a monthly schedule the drawback being as you said you forgot about the series but the Mr Tabata did speak with his editors and the solution they came with his situation.
I actually believe Lucius will turn Yuno into his final paladin- so there will be a fight between Asta and Yuno...then the final battle. Possible for Yuno to wield 3 magic types if he becomes a Paladin.
Lucius clone killed easily because it was a suprise attack. Yuno can kill lucius clone by one slash too (and he did that)... so if it is a surprise attack then outcome will be same if Yuno did it instead of yami
I feel like the next fight we see is William and Charlotte & Gordon vs their Lucius clones, Then will be Gauche and his sister, with Rill fighting their Clone, Next Grey and Vanessa vs their clone, then Black Bulls that help Yuno and Asta get away that being Nero, Zora, Charmy, Finral vs their clones. I believe this cause of chapter 370 pg 11-13 since its the chapter the Black Bulls appear and show their match ups.
I think because of the devil heart and eating the pill together was the reason he got strong enough to one shot the Lucius clone. 4:26 I think from his perspective it’s like lucifugus is controlling Morgan’s body because he has the purified soul in his body and he not fighting his brother but the devil instead and because nacht is trying deny that it’s actually his brother he’s fighting because he really doesn’t want to kill him again like last time all those years ago. 6:00 Also something to remember is that the Lucius clones should be more powerful then this but because of yuno’s neverland spell weakening their abilities as result. Something bothering me about the devils being purified because Paladin Lily horns look like nothing like Beezlebub horns. So far none of the Lucius clones demonstrate spatial magic. If Lily really did get full Beelzebub power meaning none of the paladin's horns represent the devils they got purified within them. Morgen never once said what devil power he had or have the power of the devil you summon that killed me to Nacht. BC fans said Lucius purified Lucifugus within Morgen while Nacht said Lucifugus is controlling Morgen. Very confusing here.
I don't think Asta is gonna become the Wizard King. We're most likely gonna end up with a Kakashi situation. Asta isn't ready to lead an entire nation.

This fight was pretty good. My only complaint with this is the same as all the other paladin fights. They feel hella rushed. The fights are not giving its characters time to breathe, especially the paladins. To be honest, though, this is the best Paladin fight. The one I didn't like was the silva family fight, which was way too short & didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion, especially since Acier never used her second magic
Asta with Liebe, Yami with a Devil heart and form, Nacht with devils and Noelle with a pseudo devil. Black Bulls highkey the strongest squad in Black Clover and the squad wiith most hacks and devils in a squad.
Now.. I know we all don’t like this, but Tabata just wrote into the story that one of the strongest characters in this story is light speed, and everyone’s struggling with his attacks. Which I know, goes against all of our scaling. But word of the author trumps fan scaling. Maybe they can still be FTL but us saying their MFTL after this point is a bit of cope. Even people running away from the light attacks could just mean they’re on par with them and not faster than them. Maybe the Author just didn’t intent for them to be seen as FTL until this point, and didn’t realize he was upscaling them at the time.. I’m just saying, now that the author has written this in, it’s gonna be hard to convince people their MFTL again.

Something bothering me about the devils being purified because Paladin Lily horns look like nothing like Beezlebub horns. So far none of the Lucius clones demonstrate spatial magic. If Lily really did get full Beelzebub power meaning none of the paladin's horns represent the devils they got purified within them. Morgen never once said what devil power he had or have the power of the devil you summon that killed me to Nacht. BC fans said Lucius purified Lucifugus within Morgen while Nacht said Lucifugus is controlling Morgen. Very confusing here.

This fight was pretty good. My only complaint with this is the same as all the other paladin fights. They feel hella rushed. The fights are not giving its characters time to breathe, especially the paladins.
To be honest, though, this is the best Paladin fight. The one I didn't like was the silva family fight, which was way too short & didn't feel like a satisfying conclusion, especially since Acier never used her second magic

Now.. I know we all don’t like this, but Tabata just wrote into the story that one of the strongest characters in this story is light speed, and everyone’s struggling with his attacks. Which I know, goes against all of our scaling. But word of the author trumps fan scaling. Maybe they can still be FTL but us saying their MFTL after this point is a bit of cope. Even people running away from the light attacks could just mean they’re on par with them and not faster than them.
Maybe the Author just didn’t intent for them to be seen as FTL until this point, and didn’t realize he was upscaling them at the time.. I’m just saying, now that the author has written this in, it’s gonna be hard to convince people their MFTL again.
