Truly appreciate this. I’ve watched a few dozen videos trying to decide between RZR and General. Keep switching back to RZR fearing the General will be too slow for me. Being able to drive spirited it absolutely critical for me, and no one ever talks about its speed performance which scares me.
Both are great vehicles, the Ranger is a bit more work focused and had bench seats for up to 6 whereas the General is more sporty and has 4 captains chairs. As we say in this video the General is a great balance of sport/utility.
How does this perform in the Dunes? I feel like I would want the extra power that a turbo provides while I am there. Can you put an aftermarket turbo in these?
A Turbo RZR is for sure more capable on the dunes but the General is also really capable. We haven't seen a turbo kit for the General but someone has probably done it.
Hey dan, I’m looking at getting a kurts gear down kit off of your website and I wanted to know what the difference is between the one with clutching and the one without clutching.
Hey bud thanks for watching! Kurts clutching works really well with the gear down kit. His helix set up and spring combo holds rpm really well and reduces clutch/belt heat better than most. Like with every kit, I do make tweaks from there but clutching is an ongoing process. Will make changes again this season because every year....something else is designed that make things even better!!! Pray for snow and thanks again!
Hey Dan, thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I was also wondering, I have a 2017 Polaris SKS and it has a chain case. Do you know if it is possible to swap it for a gear down kit?
not atv/utv related but anyone got any good ideas about getting track tension bolts unseized on a sled? tried deep creep soak and heat still can't get them to budge. No dealer here withing 600 kms and postage takes months to recieve packages. What a mess.
You can't go wrong with the RZR, its an incredible machine we just felt that for the terrain and type of riding we have locally the General was a better fit for us.

I’ve got 5400 miles on my 18 ride command, absolutely love it
Thats awesome.
From House of Cards to outdoor adventure man I would have never known because his acting was so good that I thought you were a square
Great info Dan - thank you! this unit is a beast. And that wrap, LOVE IT.
Glad you like it!
I have about 3500 miles on my 2016, I love it, great ride!
Great to hear! Thanks for watching.
I recently got a Yamaha Wolverine X2 XTR. It has been a really nice comfortable and affordable machine.
Very nice!
Love my General. Great machine.
Right on!
What kind of sunglasses are those?
How about price
Dan should my dad get the general or the 4 seat ranger

Polaris should make a general nortstar ultimate
It's amazing. But it has no trailing arms so depending where u ride, makes big difference. If.you don't want trailing arms, enjoy the party
Hi dan
Hi Taven, thanks for watching
hi dan
hi Tommy, thanks for watching
we have a 2022 general and 3 rangers and 1 honda pioneer the general is the best
I just ordered up the Pro XP4 Sport. I was deciding between that and the General XP$. Did I screw up?

Surely, surely the asphalt business must be lucrative.
