    What's the plastic part at the front inside the cleaner. Mines is full of dust and there's nothing in the instructions to open it up or clean dust out the small plastic part inside near suction part.

    Thanks a lot for this great detailed and honest review❤ you just won a new subscriber in Switzerland😊
    Especially for the small differences of the U.E and U.S models!
    I was considering buying this vacuum and ive been doing review comparisons for more than a month now.
    I have a question please between a Dyson and this, which Dyson model is better?
    And if you have a recommandation of the best vaccuum ever for you, even if its not the brands that ive mentionned, which vacuum would it be? (Regardless of the price, just quality) ?
    P.s. : Thank you for your work, i will recommend your channel to my friends.
    Have a great Sunday☀️

      Glad you enjoyed the review, and many thanks for the sub and for recommending the channel--appreciated!
      I've found the shark to be one of the better ones out there in terms of value for money. Dyson is definitely much more expensive, but if I was to pick irrespective of price, I'd pick the Gen5 Detect. Hope this helps!

    Unfortunately this model stops charging after only 3 months of use, that’s not helpful information about how to fix this problem besides buying a new battery which can cost the same price as an another model vacuum.
    It was good for small debris but nots so much for dust suction. Is not worth the cost.

    My hitch would be that air freshener thing that it has. I'm allergic to fragrances, so would not be able to use that at all. It looks like something has to be there though.

    • @RawansReviews

      Not at all. I used the vacuum for a few days before installing the air freshener. And to be honest, not something I personally find useful and would probably go without.

      @@RawansReviews It would bug me having that hole there. I did call you can keep the cap on w/out the fragrance cartridge underneath, so you don't have blowback.
      I was still iffy w/ this 10% off coupon I found, as the Canadian version was still $450, and cheapest at the Shark site. When called, they up and offered me 50% off. So that decided me to try it. On it's way, hope I love it more than my extremely pain in the butt to empty and run the filters Tineco.

    I wouldn't purchase anything that SHARK Ninja has to sell. They misrepresent their products and they don't honor their warranty. Ask me how I know, I have purchased multiple Shark products and until this last purchase I didn't have any problems but with this new 159.00 shark stick and the no hair wrap brush roll is a worthless piece of junk. You have to run over all dirt and grass multiple times 5 to 8 or ten to get this piece of junk to pick up. I have tried for three months to get Shark to replace this vacuum because I have a warranty that I paid for, they have refused. I have pictures of what this worthless junk doesn't do and that's to pick up dirt. Waste of money. Don't purchase.

But if you watch any of my other videos, I always declare that at the beginning of the video if it’s the case, to be completely transparent towards my viewers. This wasn’t the case here-I purchased it myself and actually is currently the main stick vacuum that I use myself at home. I just thought it was a great unit (barring the few inconveniences I mentioned in the review). Thanks for watching!

    The difference in run times looks like one was timed on eco and the other on standard power.

    • @RawansReviews
      @RawansReviews  7 місяців тому

      One was in Eco indeed but the other was in Max mode. So standard (auto) mode will get you a runtime sometime in between these 2 extremes. Thanks for watching!

    • @maipantoon7823
      @maipantoon7823 6 місяців тому

      It's a big difference. Eco will run for the full hour. High mode is about 15 mins.
      Auto detect mode - depends how often you hoover. Because it genuinely is intelligent. It's not switching to high power every time it goes onto a carpet, for instance. It will only switch to high if it detects dirt. So if you hoover quite regularly, it won't go into high that much, and will probably last 30 minutes

    • @RawansReviews
      @RawansReviews  6 місяців тому

      Did you get a full hour in Eco mode? I timed multiple times and got a few minutes shy of 40 minutes.

      @@RawansReviews I think it uses far more power on carpets, even in Eco mode. If you put it on a hard wood surface, in Eco mode, it barely uses any power at all. My house is mostly hard wood

    Would you choose this or the shark stratos? Hard choice but battery sounds like it may be better on stratos plus the stratos is very heavy which puts me off

    • @RawansReviews
      @RawansReviews  7 місяців тому

      I haven't tried the Stratos so can't comment on performance. But from the looks of it, I would be inclined to go for this one. Seems to be lighter and more compact, and the auto-empty charging base is a nifty plus. Sorry can't be of more help!

      Thanks for reply. If I got another battery how would you keep it charged if using the first battery on the dock

    • @RawansReviews
      @RawansReviews  7 місяців тому

      That's a fair point. Unfortunately there's no 'easy' way to do that. Some other vacuums with docking stations I've seen have a slot on the docking station to charge a second battery. Unfortunately this doesn't and so you'd have to manually take out the battery once it's fully charged, and pop in the second on. Fortunately though it's very easy to pop out the battery, even when the vacuum is docked. If you were getting the version without the dock, the battery on that one appears to charge by plugging in the charger directly into the battery. So could be easier to charge 2 batteries.

    • @markhamill8016
      @markhamill8016 7 місяців тому +1

      I wonder is the dock worth it? What you think?
