I have just purchased this vacuum. I can honestly say this would beat the other vacuums, hands down. It is a little on the heavy side but I will get used to that. The suction is unbelievable. I thought my floors were clean until I used this. Well done Shark! You have won me.
Why do you need an auto-suction adjust on a corded vac? The entire point of it being corded is you have power on demand and can enjoy the luxury of running it on full power. Auto-suction is for cordless where you need to maximize battery life.
I noticed the never have it pick up bigger pieces such as the cheerios off a hard floor, just carpet. You know why? It shoots them out the back of the unit on a hard floor. I know from personal experience.
Hard floor mode = max suction and minimum brush roll speed, High carpet mode = minimum suction and maximum brush roll speed Is it in detect / hardwood mode? or are you using the high carpet mode? If high carpet mode, roll spins too fast and not enough suction = some large debris shoots out back
If you do buy this, purchase a replacement floor nozzle at the same time because when it fails, it can’t be fixed. The brush roll will wear out from normal use, and when it does you can’t just replace the brush roll, shark only sells the entire floor nozzle for like $89.00. When new, they work amazingly well.

Agreed.
Just ordered mine! Super excited! Thanks for your comment!
For some reason I like a heavier vacuum
Dyson 3 is king of the carpets. Shark has def stepped up their game i will say.

The Shark Powerdetect draws enough power to trip most 15-amp breakers if ran at max power for prolonged times.
@@Frenchfrys17 I don't think so. It is an 800 or 1200-watt motor... most breakers can support 1800 watts.
@@djplonghead5403it’s actually a hair over 1400watts (1410 iirc), wife’s hair dryer is 1500w lol gotta love the efficiency of resistance heating /s 😅

It’s honestly a joke
It happens on many vacuum cleaners, but the sharks with dual brush rolls don’t shoot items as you describe. What model do you claim does this?
Hard floor mode = max suction and minimum brush roll speed,
High carpet mode = minimum suction and maximum brush roll speed
Is it in detect / hardwood mode? or are you using the high carpet mode? If high carpet mode, roll spins too fast and not enough suction = some large debris shoots out back
@@MrMcMuffinJr1999 I guess same question for you that I just left for OP
As a person who fixes vacuums…don’t buy these pieces of shit

@@Martin_Vail_Esq. that’s the problem. They should sell each individual part.
What upright vacuum make and model would you recommend?
