I’ve always used my rice cooker to cook it. Seems to turn out good every time and it’s just so much quicker. I do the pinky measuring like I would with rice. Definitely going to try cooking it with onion and broth next time!

Thank you so much I followed your recipe and oh wow, the quinoa turned out to be amazing, I am a middle Eastern from Jordan, and I found out recently that I have celiac disease so my taboleh will be with quinoa from now on, there is something I learned from my mom that might help enrich the taboleh flavour, cook the quinoa with water just until it's willing to absorb (for half the time) and then sock it with olive oil lemon and salt for at least 4 hours, this will add so much to the taboleh flavour

My trick which was learned from a friend, is to soak the quinoa for 30 min-an hour. Sometimes i soak it longer, will put it in the fridge and it sprouts by itself. Then cook with the same water ratio, and it's done in less than 5 minutes, and no mushiness : )
it also needs to be drained. Sounds more high maintenance but to me it's a lazier way cause the next day it cooks quick.
    Loved the video as always!

As a Middle Eastern, when I saw Tabouleh with quinoa i was like Arabs crying everywhere lmao but i do admire the recipe! It looks bomb. Personally, I would do a lot more parsley cuz that's really the base of Tabouleh. I would also add some fresh mint and red onion! Also, you want to dice your tomatoes a lotttt more finely cuz that's how we do in the Middle East!
Note: ok why doest qunioa look like a bunch of small condoms im sorry 😂😂👌 i love quinoa though
