Do both bearings have open faced side pointing towards the slip washer end of the shaft? Video kinda indicated otherwise unless those bearing were open faced on both sides?
anybody who follows the steps in this video is asking for problems...You press the bearings on the shaft AND into the housing BEFORE you put the seal thrust disc in..REASON: the bearing behind the seal can and does push out when you press the shaft into it..Also you tighten the impeller nut first as if you dont...the clutch thrust assembly can spin on the shaft blocking the oil hole....Also you DO NOT use grease when assembling the supercharger..You want to use OIL...NOT grease.......Like i said..follow these instructions and you will be replacing your Scer and or engine ssooner than later...
The ship guide says to use the gear holding wrench and hold the gear while turning the he nut at the end of the shaft woth a torque wrench, and it gives the force a new clutch should slip at but I am not going to share that number because I doubt they're all the same and I don't want someone too inexperienced to do the rebuild mess their SC up with my SC specs
Hey question. Im changing washers on mine sc and everyone is stacking them like this )()() but rive directions said to stack them like this for more friction)))() ,,is that really way to go??
Good video, best one I seen yet.

Do you rebuild these SC'ers? I have mine removed and am looking for someone to rebuild it.
3:35 Not all torque wrenches can do left hand threads tightening.
What happened with checking the clutch slippage
Are these metal washers or crappy oem ceramic ones?
Hola cuantos nm se apreta el tornillo y porque acer lo del piñon para que silve ? Gracias
What boost does the supercharger do?
Yeb, one important part was miss ,the one im looking for ,
I am going to order your kit but am wondering if I need to have the new shaft balanced at a turbo shop locally.
Hi Mark, Did you contact our tech department?
My son emailed sales@shopsbt.com twice but hasn't received a reply.
I am sorry you had that experience. Our kit is plug and play, no additional machining needed.
can i ask a question IS IT NECESSARY to balance sc after replacement?
Please email tech@sbt.com
What is the failure rate for the shown Bearings and clutch washers? They don't look OEM whatsoever..
how to you check the slippage of the clutch? thanks
