Dear Friends !!! Your videos are fantastic ... and very useful to know the heart of our RXT 4 Tec Supercharger. Could you tell me where I can buy the original spare parts for both the engine and other parts for my 260? . Many thanks !!!

So basically, remove timing cover, clean oil pump out and also the secondary pump and call it good after flushing with new oil. The oil filter would have cough any of the small particles. Had the same happen on my 2012 RXT, over 100hrs after doing that and no issues. This is kind of overkill.
Well, we wanted to show the different areas of concern. Some engines will have a lot more damage than others ...especially if they have supercharger bearing failure. Thanks for your comment.
I recently purchased a 2007 seadoo speedster150 215hp with 0 original hours. Besides the ceramic washers anything else I should be worried about? Manufacturer date was June 2007. I am also in BC.
Wow, an 11 year old machine with no hours. Not sure if you're saying the engine has been rebuilt but if there is more than 150 hours on the supercharger, in addition to replacing the washers you should do a complete rebuild of it. The pump should be checked for water/rust inside. Check for codes, and proper function of the gauges. As we haven't had much experience with non-PWCs I'm not sure what additional items the Speedster might need, but the forums will probably help. Good luck.
@@3ftDeepChannelthe guy I purchased it off bought it test drove it had it professionally winterized and put it in his garage till I bought it. I put the first 2 hours on it in October everything works great. I even had to take the protective plastic off the stereo. He even let me take it for the day to make sure everything was good. Definitely don't find deals like that very often. I paid 8500$
Hey guys I have a 2018 Sea Doo rxtx 300 had supercharger bearing faulier Sea Doo replaced the supercharger assembly they did not check anything ealse my ? Is should I do oil change and check if it messed anything ealse up what do you recommend for me to look at thanks Esteban
Yes, definitely check in between the folds of the oil filter. There's not much else you can easily check though. I'm very surprised it failed, as the newer models are supposed to be much stronger than the old ones. Hopefully it didn't actually come apart, and your engine is okay. Ask them about the condition of the bearing and get it back from them, if you can. If it's not whole, the pieces had to have gone somewhere. Good luck!
Question? Are you guys going to show how to completely rebuild the engine? I know it would take time and cost $ but it would be a cool series. FYI the music reminds me of the show Knight Rider back in the 80'.s :) How many hours on the engine?
There was about 100 hours on the engine. This is a part of a series that will show us putting it all back together. Any segments we miss will be available through links to our other videos. Stay tuned ...
Hi could you help me? My gti 130 4tec when it reaches the operating temperature and I turn it off when I'm going to start it gets heavy and I have to wait cool to try to get it. I have already replaced the starter motor, the battery, the starting relay, I have already cleaned the battery terminals and it did not work. Do you have any idea?
I have a 2015 155 Ltd and I have the same issue also replaced batt no change only happens when hot. Tired diff fuel, I replace my spark plugs each season if anyone else has this or knows what to do please let me know!
Sea-Doo supercharger flaws ended after 2007, so if you have a 2008 or newer model you should be OK, however, you have to make sure they're rebuilt about every 150 to 200 hours. The 300 hp models apparently don’t require rebuilding.
To me, the best upgrade for something like that would be an SCOM from RIVA Racing. Give them a shout and see what sort of improvement you could get on your machine with one of their modules. Good luck!
If it’s throwing codes it’s not setting “check engine light “ or anything on screen or lights I can 2x the exhaust but it’s flowing well as far as I can tell seems like a plugged exhaust would affect all the time not just hot.
I'm not thinking it's plugged. I've seen a case once before with the same symptoms and it turned out to be leaking exhaust hose. I'm not totally confident about it, but it's worth another check. He looked, but couldn't see anything. The dealer found the leak.
I just fixed a exhaust leak on my Wake, the leak was bad enough that I had a hard time getting to 6500 rpm. I found my leak at the J pipe to the exhaust manifold connection, corrosion under the clamp allowed the leak to form. 15 min fix with a clamp clean up and re attaching the J pipe.
That is not correct. I had a wake pro for years and looked after it. Never had any issues with the supercharger. So they aren't "nothing but trouble" at all. Don't go writing comments about things you've never experienced or learned from hear say. Its a terrible attitude to have and a baseless comment at best.
The four videos in this series were invaluable during my tear down and rebuild (2005 RXT). Thank you so much for doing them and doing them so well.
Thank you very much for your suggestion.
It will be very useful to me. A hug for everyone !!!!
You are welcome!
Can’t wait for the reassembly!
Coming soon ...

Part 1 of the series shows you how. We have other videos in a playlist titled "Engine, Intercooler ..." that will also show you how. Good luck.

That's a tough one. It may be an exhaust issue. Check all your hoses very carefully. Also check to see if it's throwing any codes.
What can be in the exhaust? Could it be bendix? When cold the start is good. No codes in the scanner. The ski does not fail, it runs very well.
Renan Camargo is it cranking over?

Good video shows well I enjoyed.
how many hours had that engine before got mess up?
Is supercharger failure a common thing on these? Just got an RXT 255 and want to know

@@3ftDeepChannel thanks so much, do you know of an even better solution? I have seem some videos with some RXTs that have turbochargers installed...

Sorry to hear that Rick. Please keep us posted as you dig into it. Good luck.
It doesn’t sound like the supercharger was rebuilt, then. If you like, feel free to send pictures to our email address at 3ftdeepchannel@gmail.com.
Ok thanks will give that a shot

Nice,, thanks.
The jump cut editing kills the flow hellas.
I know, thanks but it keeps the videos short. Some people complain we have too much “screwing” around.
the jump cut is perfect. i dont have all day to learn something i can learn in 5 mins. its not entertainment its information.

Yes, but coupled with an intercooler and you get 60 extra horse power!
