Stereolab’s music give me a kind of optimistic vibe and I love it. My boss will never know I’m actually dancing to this while he’s “criticizing” me via business Emails. Thank you, from Tokyo, Japan 🙋♀️

Saw them live in 1998 and again in 2009. Always amazing.

This sounds uncannily like Hawkwind on a mellow afternoon, right down to the nurdling flute at the edge of the mix. The beat, the keyboards & chord progression .... (that's a good thing, by the way).
Some of Hawkwinds songs, like Opa-Loka were influenced by Krautrock just like Stereolab. In fact a lot of people consider Stereolab a straight up Krautrock band even though they came out decades after the scene had died.
