I just realized I forgot to mention my least favorite product! It’s the Vitamin C Powder! It’s hard to figure out how much to use and it changes the texture of the product you mix it with. Hope this video was helpful!
I love the vitamin c powder. There’s definitely a learning curve for what you mentioned, but for the products it does play well with - an amazing concept. The extra vitamin c boost without adding another serum/treatment is why I love it so much. Love you Susan!
i literally just searched this up because i thought you might have a review on this brand. the shock i felt when i realized that this was literally 10 minutes ago and just right when i needed it lol
I think the skincare "treat" perception you have comes partially from the minimal-but-cute pastel packaging & the fact that it's sold at Target instead of Walgreens or CVS. I used to work at Target, Target's philosophy toward customers involves giving shoppers a semi-luxury shopping experience at a low price point. That's why most Targets have an aesthetically pleasing store layout, are kept well-lit, very clean, and organized. There are always more employees on the salesfloor (to assist you) at Target than there are at places like Walmart and they will always be courteous and helpful. I don't know if it'll prove to be a successful business model in the near future but it's worked for them so far. Some people prefer the Target experience to shopping at Walmart, even if Target's prices are slightly higher.
I had this very thought when I first bought Versed products 😆 what’s interesting to me though is even when I know I’m a victim to marketing... I almost don’t mind. I still enjoy being “wooed” by it if you will lol (wonder what the psychology is behind that 🤔 lol)
I really LOVE Baby Cheeks 😍. I'm on the Versed hype train. I do shake mine every time before using it and I use it as a moisturizing toner after double cleansing. My skin drinks up that coconut water and it really plumps my face.
@@earthboundblueprint I saw she mentioned that she didn't like the vitamin C powder. Luckily the brilliance boost serum made it on the good list! (I edited my comment to specify the serum, I didn't even realize there was a powder when I made the comment.) I'm trying it for the first time today so hopefully I get some good results!
Hi Susan! I really hope you see this comment. It would be really great if you could team up with Dr. Desai and make a video about how to prevent acne or deal with acne that happens after going off birth control. It's an issue that makes a lot of women scared to stop the pill and even often pushes them into going back on it. Thanks for the amazing and consistent content even during such stressful times!
I was glad to hear Susan’s opinion on the cleansing balm. The versed cleansing balm was the first one I have tried and I just figured a cleansing balm or a cleansing oil wasn’t for me. Hearing her opinion on this encourages me to try a different brand! I love the versed moisturizer though. It’s one of my favorites! Bought it as a dupe for the drunk elephant protini. It’s note quite a dupe but I still live it!
On a whim i bought the Versed night cream today at Target. Glad to hear Susan gives it a good review. Looking for a lighter night cream so excited to try it tonight!
yesss i've been waiting for this review! and yeah the cleansing balm and Nix it were a fail for me. especially if you think about the price per ounce, Versed cleansing balm ($7,82 per oz) is not that much cheaper than Clinique ($7.89 per oz) or Drunk Elephant ($8,76 per oz) and is also much smaller. i'd also choose Glossier Zit Stick over the Nix it.
I agree with the price comment. I was thinking of replacing my REN toner for the Versed one because it is cheaper, but after I did the math I realized the REN one is actually the cheap one!!
Could you continue the reviewing of affordable brands, like Good Molecules?? They have a cleansing balm, exfoliating powder, and tons of serums that look really interesting! Love all your content, thank you!
I agree with Susan on the cleansing balm. I love cleansing balms and im a snob for cleansing balms. It takes a lot to remove my eye makeup. I love the smell and feel but it doesn't a lot though. Now im just using it up so I don't waste
I tend to get on the oily side and I sweat a lot during the spring and summer months. So I love the Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream for the spring and summer. It is a light moisturizer but it still does a good job of moisturizing the skin unlike a lot of lightweight moisturizers.
This was sooo helpful. I'm embarrassingly just starting to take care of my skin and can't afford expensive products since I'm still figuring out what works for me
I absolutely loved the weekend glow tonic, i have really stubborn old acne scars and in the past 2 month that i've been using it, I feel like it has helped resurface my skin and helped lighten acne scars. Not a huge crazy difference overnight but definitely significant difference on newer stubborn spots. I fell like it does give you a "glow". I would recommend it to anyone who is on the market for affordable (gentle) toners that have acid in them. Hope this helps someone!
I would love to see a review like this on the Tula skincare line! New subscriber here and have been watching so much of your content the past few weeks. It is so informative and helpful and makes me want to develop a good, strong, healthy skincare routine!
I will say her comment about the SPF pilling under makeup is very true. First time I tried it, I really enjoyed it. The second time I applied it, I applied makeup over and it pilled quite badly... so def recommend if going makeup free but don’t recommend if you want to wear makeup on top 👍
Yes! I had that exact same experience with the lip oil. I would apply it, and at first it felt fine, but within minutes it was like it had disappeared and left my lips even drier. No slip, not pleasant to use. I'm like you, Susan, I like something that feels thick and occlusive. I gave the lip oil a few tries, but it was a no for me. But I did also really like the retinol serum (almost done with my first tube) and you've given me ideas for other things I want to try.
So far I’m loving the versed face cleanser for dry skin .. and it’s the 1st soap that I’ve used that didn’t turn my face dry after washing it .. and I’ve used a a lot of different soap from high we end items
I love a good cleansing balm/cleansing oil! I’ve tried them all from the ordinary to Tacha and everything in between! By far the beat I’ve ever tried is from Etsy- Bay Harbor Beauty’s cleansing balm! It’s so concentrated and actually continues to work as a cleanser when water is added. Most cleansing balls breakfast down too fast with a tiny addition of water! But BHB cleansing balm is still easy to wash off but really continues to clean with added water! Love it! And amazing price too.
I love Versed products. I recommend it to a lot of my clients since the skincare at the spa I work at is $30 and up for most products. Edit: I would also love your opinion on their overnight peel. I personally love it, but I’m just incorporating more actives into my routine as my skin is finally calming and strengthening.
I just started using the skin soak and love it! My skin tends to be on the dryer side and this definitely is a great moisturizer to sleep in and wake up hydrated.
Nooooo...I just bought the Versed Cleansing Balm the other day. It's my first time purchasing one so I really don't have anything to compare it to. I remember thinking Susan would be so proud that I'm doing the double cleanse. :-)
I totally should have listed to you about the cleansing balm. It's a dislike and a no for me as well. But it happened to be part of a kit so thought I'd try it anyway, even though I watched your video first. Thanks for your product reviews!
Thanks for the review! I asked last week in the private Facebook group if anyone had tried the Versed spf and it's great to see a review. I felt the same way about the baby cheeks toner, but I really like their brightening toner and wanted to try more of their products.
Is the Facebook group you are talking about one that will allow other skin care junkies in by chance? Or is it a private group of friends? If it’s open to others, id love to join it if you wanna leave the link!
Awww Susan I disagree with the cleansing balm😣, I love it (combo skin). Worked way better for me than the Caudalie cleansing oil. I use the Versed cleansing balm on dry skin, then proceed to using my cleanser.
I personally thought the cleansing balm did a fine job at removing makeup, however I wont re-purchase it because the tub is so small! For the cost it's not worth it at all! I've also been using Dew Point and its a totally fine gel moisturizer but i really don't feel it does anything extra for my skin. Again, for their prices, their product amounts should be way more. I truly feel like theyre getting away with "high end" price points, but it's masked by small amounts of product for less. It's just like buying a high-end product in a travel size.. you feel like you're saving money but in the end it's not cost effective. However.. I do really appreciate that there is a brand at target that you can count on being fragrance free, cruelty free, and have decently thought-out formulas. But it does make me sad because I really feel like they could afford to make their products cheaper. They use minimal packaging to be eco-friendly which is awesome, but shouldn't that bring their cost down? Anyway..just my thoughts.
I love how Susan loves all of the products I do and doesn't like all of the products I've chosen not to use just from an ingredient standpoint from Versed. Ingredients don't lie y'all!
I would love to see some reviews on brands like Mario Badescu, Rituals and Kiehls. Love this video, I was going to get the cleansing balm from Versed but I'm glad I went with the Rituals one instead! ❣
Thank you for this brand review! I'm starting to revamp my skin care routine and I have had my eye on Versed recently. I'm looking forward to trying the dew point moisturizer and the gentle retinol serum! 🤗✨
I love their gel cream. I have the retinol but have yet to use it (gonna finish up The Ordinary retinoid first). I wish you showed video if your husband wearing the sunscreen. I have dark skin, admittedly darker skin than your husband, but would still like to see how it looked on him. I was interested in a mineral sunscreen that won't leave a cast.
Susan, can you do a review on Eau Thermale Avène? For dry skin? I love their facial mist...it really has done wonders for my skin in my daily routine. Every time I try other facial mists, my skin misbehaves, and straight back to Avène I go. Just curious on how you feel about their products in general. They seem to concentrate on restoring the skins lipid layer & I know you’re big on that. I have very dry skin...so I’m always looking for the best. I love Holi Frog, Estée Lauder, Avène, CosRX & Laneige products...some Caudalie. Of course I double cleanse with a cleansing balm, never ever use facial wipes 🤮 and sunscreen always! My daughter is 15 and I am so proud that I have instilled in her great skin care.
Great review :) I just got their "on the rise" serum to replace The Ordinary's Matrixyl + HA. And planning to try their Vitamin C serum as soon as I run out of Timeless.
Every time I go to buy that versed dew point moisterizer it sold out. I need a good recommendation for sunscreen that is not gonna break me out sink in and have no sticky greasy feeling and no peeling or white cast ..I need the perfect sun screen.
I just realized I forgot to mention my least favorite product! It’s the Vitamin C Powder! It’s hard to figure out how much to use and it changes the texture of the product you mix it with. Hope this video was helpful!
I'm surprised you didn't review the Weekend Glow! When I saw that I thought it had your name written all over it haha! Loved the video!
What about the On the Rise Serum? I just got it and would love to hear your opinions on it! :)
I love the vitamin c powder. There’s definitely a learning curve for what you mentioned, but for the products it does play well with - an amazing concept. The extra vitamin c boost without adding another serum/treatment is why I love it so much. Love you Susan!
It also does absolutely nothing, at least for me
Pleeeeease review the weekend glow toner!
2:31 Retinol Serum
4:32 Vitamin C brightening serum
5:31 Daily Mineral Serum
6:31 Just Breathe Clarifying Serum
8:25 Dew point moisturiser / skin soak moisturiser
10:30 Day Dissolve Cleansing oil
11:28 baby cheeks hydrating milk
Raffaella Rosina THANK YOUUUU
Thank u so much!!
Thank you!
Raffaella Rosina, THANK YOU 😊
Thank you!!!
i literally just searched this up because i thought you might have a review on this brand. the shock i felt when i realized that this was literally 10 minutes ago and just right when i needed it lol
When you know you know
The stars were aligned omg
That's a very good point, thanks for sharing!
I had this very thought when I first bought Versed products 😆 what’s interesting to me though is even when I know I’m a victim to marketing... I almost don’t mind. I still enjoy being “wooed” by it if you will lol (wonder what the psychology is behind that 🤔 lol)
Also used to work at Target. Can confirm this comment.
Please do a review on Honest Beauty skin care products!!!
yessss
Yes please!
síiii! por favor Yara 💖
Yesss! I've been waiting for this one...love that it's available at Target. Thanks Susan!!
I really LOVE Baby Cheeks 😍. I'm on the Versed hype train. I do shake mine every time before using it and I use it as a moisturizing toner after double cleansing. My skin drinks up that coconut water and it really plumps my face.
I literally just bought the vitamin C serum from this brand 2 hours ago. An hour later I got this notification. I'm on the edge of my seat!
Did you see Susan's comment on this video that she doesn't like the vitamin C??
Emilija Angelovska she said that about the powder!
Oh sorry! I thought it was the same thing 😛
Once she mentions the verses retinol I ran to get it and LOVED IT LOVE IT LOVED IT. It just made my skin amazing
Baby cheeks works very well on my skin. I just love it.
Thank goodness she liked the Retinol ...I’ve been trying it for two weeks and I can say it’s so worth the price! Love it!!💕

On a whim i bought the Versed night cream today at Target. Glad to hear Susan gives it a good review. Looking for a lighter night cream so excited to try it tonight!
I'm colombian and i feel fancy when I buy aquaphor (It's expensive) XD
Smez Q mood honestly most of my products are affordable but full of amazing ingredients so it makes me feel amazing
yesss i've been waiting for this review!
and yeah the cleansing balm and Nix it were a fail for me. especially if you think about the price per ounce, Versed cleansing balm ($7,82 per oz) is not that much cheaper than Clinique ($7.89 per oz) or Drunk Elephant ($8,76 per oz) and is also much smaller. i'd also choose Glossier Zit Stick over the Nix it.

me tooo!!! I didn't like the cleansing balm either. I am okay with the Nix It though.
I agree with the price comment. I was thinking of replacing my REN toner for the Versed one because it is cheaper, but after I did the math I realized the REN one is actually the cheap one!!
yup! Their stuff is so expensive for the amount you get. It pays off to just buy high end most of the time...
Urban legend goes around that you like the comments of your early birds 🕊
I do! 😛
Could you continue the reviewing of affordable brands, like Good Molecules?? They have a cleansing balm, exfoliating powder, and tons of serums that look really interesting! Love all your content, thank you!
PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW FREDDY MY LOVE'S SKINCARE ROUTINE. IT JUST CAME OUT ! LOVE YOU ALL GUYS !!!
Oh it would be so nice if she can react to her skincare routine! There are products that Susan haven't talked about in her video :)
THIS. I watched Freddy’s and was like omg Susan has to get on this
Thanks for this video. I liked and hated some of the same products as you. Can you do a review on Naturium products?
I wanted to order some products but I’m waiting on Susan’s recommendations lol
This aged interestingly
isnt this her skincare line?
Omg this did not age well
I agree with Susan on the cleansing balm. I love cleansing balms and im a snob for cleansing balms. It takes a lot to remove my eye makeup. I love the smell and feel but it doesn't a lot though. Now im just using it up so I don't waste

This is so spooky an hour ago I searched for versed reviews and I’ve just refreshed my homepage and this pops up uploaded 20 minutes ago!!

Yes! I've been waiting for this. I've only been using the stroke of brilliance but have been wanting to try more!

Oh crap, I have been using that cleansing balm for a while and have been waiting for this review on it.
Curious, do you like the cleansing balm?
As for sensitive skin with acne, azelaic acid can be an option too 🤩 it's quite effective and even people with rosacea can tolerate it.
I love stuff, it’s in my Curology formula 🤗
Too bad I can't get it over-the-counter here in Canada 😂🤦♂️
i love the versed cleansing balm🥺 i’m on my second tub of it!!!
I just bought it yesterday, I hope I love it too 😭

Please do a video on lipcare! Affordable to expensive scrubs and balms🙏🏾❤️❤️
Loved the video I hoping you do a review on naturium next :)
I feel like I should say this again; I REALLY like your hair like this!

i beg to differ! my lips feel super fancy when slathered in Aquaphor.
Haha! I mean, I love it too.
Leah Hill, haha me too 😂
So informative!! Thank you so much Susan!! ♥️👏🏼
HOW DID YOU NOT TRY THE WEEKEND GLOW TONIC, I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF YOU WHEN I FIRST SAW IT
I was waiting on this one too....... I am so sad she didn't try that one ....
Thank you so much for your opinions that you honestly have given. I want to buy the products that you’ve given a yes to.
I am currently using the Versed gentle retinol and I also enjoy it!
I just started using the skin soak and love it! My skin tends to be on the dryer side and this definitely is a great moisturizer to sleep in and wake up hydrated.
love this video!!!! you made me smile & lol!!!!! Mad love for Susan!!!! :)
Nooooo...I just bought the Versed Cleansing Balm the other day. It's my first time purchasing one so I really don't have anything to compare it to. I remember thinking Susan would be so proud that I'm doing the double cleanse. :-)
I totally agree with Susan the lip conditioner is really bad. My lips were incredibly dry after using.
I totally should have listed to you about the cleansing balm. It's a dislike and a no for me as well. But it happened to be part of a kit so thought I'd try it anyway, even though I watched your video first. Thanks for your product reviews!
Susan, can you do a review for Naturium?
Boy do I have a video for you! XD
Karen Amador Vasallo, that’s her line dude/dudette.
Thanks for the review! I asked last week in the private Facebook group if anyone had tried the Versed spf and it's great to see a review. I felt the same way about the baby cheeks toner, but I really like their brightening toner and wanted to try more of their products.

can you do a teenage skincare routine. By the way love your videos they have saved me so much!
I was looking for reviews for these products yesterday! Thanks!
I was interested in the vitamin c serum and the heavier cream - I am glad to hear that they are good products. TY!
YESSSSS totally long time coming!!!!
Liked the honest review.
Can u do a video with the huda beauty skin products ?
I’ve been binge watching your videos and I love how informative they are!
If you like these, def watch hyram. Susan collaborated with him, and he is so in depth and comprehensive while being so funny and entertaining
Literally been eyeing this brand the past month, but thankfully your in-depth review came out! Definitely going to purchase some of these 💖🥰
Ooh interested to see what Susan thinks. I got a sample of the vitamin c and the gel cream and I was thoroughly impressed.
I’m so glad that you made it video... I was going to pick me the cleansing balm and the baby cheeks... I’m so glad that I didn’t now! Lol
The baby cheeks broke me out so badly. Excited to try everything else!
I've had the brightening serum in my cult beauty basket for ages, this was the push I needed and I'm now on the waitlist for the gel cream! Thank you!
I’m sure u got it by know!!! Isn’t it awesome?!?!
I loveeeee the versed cleansing balm! It dissolves my eye makeup so well :)
Same! It kinda broke my heart Susan didn’t love this bc I do 💔
Yay! Thanks for the review!
okay sorry but you're literally SO gorgeous! love ur videos too :)
I’ve been wondering about this for so long!
I love their sunscreen! I have tan skin and no white cast! plus it’s safe for your babies and young children 👌🏽🦋
So strange, bought the cleansing balm from cult beauty a few days ago just based on reviews. Really like it so far
Could you do a video of a week long skin care routine, for example what to use on each day and things to use every other day ❤️ I love your videos
For all skin types 😁
Awww Susan I disagree with the cleansing balm😣, I love it (combo skin). Worked way better for me than the Caudalie cleansing oil. I use the Versed cleansing balm on dry skin, then proceed to using my cleanser.
Products can be really personal! Glad you love it. 👍
Didn’t like the cleansing balm ever but I LOVE the retinol
Yaayyyy I have been wanting a review I have the cleansing balm
I love the sunscreen sooo much
Finally!! I’ve been waiting 😍
I personally thought the cleansing balm did a fine job at removing makeup, however I wont re-purchase it because the tub is so small! For the cost it's not worth it at all! I've been waiting for someone to review this brand and finally thank you this is super helpful!!
Finally!!! Been waiting
I wanted to come earlier but I have an exam and I had to sleep a little bit, Thanks Susan for the video
12:06 Oh and i wanna see more of your DOGGY!!😍
I would love that one better then the elemis cleansing balm I became red after that one
Susan, can you do a review on Eau Thermale Avène? For dry skin? I love their facial mist...it really has done wonders for my skin in my daily routine. Great review :) I just got their "on the rise" serum to replace The Ordinary's Matrixyl + HA. And planning to try their Vitamin C serum as soon as I run out of Timeless.
I may try this since I have skin issues with silicones.
Make a review of “L’Occitaine”!!
Every time I go to buy that versed dew point moisterizer it sold out. I need a good recommendation for sunscreen that is not gonna break me out sink in and have no sticky greasy feeling and no peeling or white cast ..I need the perfect sun screen.
I love their cleansing balm. I don't really like their toner either. The separation of.the product is weird
I have never been this early and Susan is the only person I will ever be this early for
AHAHA finally! ive been waiting for this for so long!
Can you do a video on your opinion on skincare fridges and why/ why not they’re good??
have you ever done a video on Glow Recipe? If not, I suggest it lol
Can you do a video on best lip balm and masks
Hoping you can do sweet chef skincare next!
I love that retinol, it’s my first retinol product though
Definitely agree with the lip balm. I’ve yet to find something at the drug store that I like on my lips better than Cerave Healing Ointment
