I agree thought the same and even though she explained why I’m not 100% sold. Highly do not recommend even if you’re not sensitive, you can cause sensitivity over time if this is your nightly skin routine. I usually recommend retinol one night, then do glycolic the following night to slough off that dead skin
@@stylistabeauty I use a prescription strength retinoid (Adapalene/Differin gel) so I only use an aha/bha to exfoliate no more than twice a week. Usually in the form of a 5% glycolic acid, 1% salicylic acid cream cleanser that I leave on my skin like a mask for 5 mins or less, or this lactic acid and vitamin C toner I use too sometimes. Once in a while I'll also use a 2% salicylic acid serum as a spot treatment. I think it depends on the strength of the retinol you're using, the strength of the acids you're using and just how your own skin reacts. The prescription retinoid I use causes a good amount of dryness and sensitivity for me so I know my skin would not react well to daily exfoliation.
Please do a routine for rosacea- and redness-prone skin! Loved this one for my dry skin, especially after to moving from Orlando to Denver. My skin misses the humidity!
I don't have a dry skin. Mine is combo (t-zone slightly oily and cheeks normal). From time to time it seems like it's a bit sensitive, so I tend to use a "dry skin" routine. The difference is that after a good AHA, I layer a multi-stem cell serum. It transforms my skin overnight, so any small hint of dryness I feel its gone usually for days. Also, here in Romania, there is a special cream called "the japanese princess", which is like a miracle cream for my skin at least. Hi Susan! Could you do a skincare routine for dehydrated skin? I learned from Liah Yoo that even though I can get pretty oily, my skin is also dehydrated because of a compromised skin barrier.
Susan, what would you say is the benefit of antioxidants in a night time routine? I'm only informed of its effectiveness in fighting free radicals during the day time when you're out and about. Still gathering all this knowledge :)

Susan, can you please try out esthetician Renee Rouleau's skincare products and let us know what you think please?
@Veronica Camara that was one of my favorite facials to watch. It looked soooo relaxing!!
Nothing feels better than layering 3 moisturizers 😁🙋🏻♀️
💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️💁🏻♀️
Omg I just came across mixed makeup and I’m obsessed with all of the content and Susan. I will be binge watching for the next week! 🥰🥰🥰
Susan where should I store my vitamin c to increase it’s shelf life? Thank You so much 🙏🏻
Susan, your nails look so cute! Love that color.
I'm in a weird position where my face is dehydrated and dry but also acne prone. Any moisturizer thick enough to seal in the hydration and keep my skin moisturized is so thick that it breaks me out. After doing research, I discovered...
Vaseline😳 it took me a month after buying it to actually apply it. I use it nightly. My acne has been improving, not worsening!! Crazy
u should try cerave moisturizing cream!
nicole a yes it has Vaseline in
@@moonriver2000 I've tried their night cream but I dont think I've tried their moisturizing cream
@@moonriver2000 the ingredients (I think) check out, but I'm now so addicted to Vaseline, I think I'll stick with it. Maybe one day I'll try it, thank you for the recommendation!!
sensitive skin care routine please! i used to have acne so my dermatologist put me on some really strong, drying products & medicine & now my skin is so sensitive and dry. i don’t know how to get it smooth ): and it turns red so easily, all i have to do is splash water or touch it a little and it’s bright red. that being said, i don’t have acne anymore but if i’m not careful i can get some bad pimples. idk what to dooo
lmao me and my friend were just on a call raving about your oily skincare routine video
One day can you just do a super fancy night time skin care routine. It just makes us feel good and we love seeing it!
a routine for dehydrated, v sensitive, normal/combo skin that cannot make their mind up 😂
Love this. I have super DRY skin
LOVE ELEMIS!!! Probably about 90% of my skincare routine is Elemis products. I know they can be pricey, but I keep my products to a minimum & buy Elemis when I can get it on sale
Love this information! Something interesting I noticed today - in my mederma scar gel, the active is allantoin-, so it does have drastic skin repairing abilities!
It’s a great ingredient to strengthen skin!
Love all your videos!! Thank you for teaching us so much. Can you please review Paula’s Choice 😊
Susan, love this routine, would you be able to also include where one would be able to purchase these products?
She has the links in the description I'm sure x
Would love some content about affordable cleansing gels! Just bought the bioderma lotion. Looking forward to trying it out.
CeraVe girl! I get get a giant bottle for like $12 on Amazon.
I need help with my skin. It's dry flakey and dark spots. Ance too.
Sounds like you really do need help
You are ON these videos!!!! Thanks for the content
Love your videos❣ I have a 14 yr old son who is starting to break out. Right now with everyone being home would be a great time to get him started on a face routine. Would you be able to do a simple routine for teenagers?
Thank you so much for doing this informative video!🌞💐🌷
love love love your channel!!
I am saving every penny to buy the whole list. It will take awhile but worth it.
This video is a life savior! Thank youuuu!
Last night I was old videos of yours for dry skin products that you would recommend...
And that Bioderma balm is great idea for my husband because I fight all the time with him to stop using his -----bodylotion on his face/body they are to lazy to use 2 different products. I'm going to buy this for him. 👌
I find it so cute that you are now also starting to like tap your cheeks with your fingers when you want to show that you like a product ;) I used to only see that on the beauty within channel and I always thought it was so sweet 😊
Now I need to switch it up, I wasn’t using anything hydrating at night besides my cream and have been using the farmacy honeymoon glow serum and I feel so dehydrated and dry the next day. I’m also going to add the pixi beauty hydrating mist post serum 😬 how would I add a sleeping mask as my last step? I have the Paulas choice one or the Laneige sleeping mask? Can you also do a dehydrated skin routinen😬
lovely video and very informative !!! love it
Please make a video about eczema skin 🙏🙏❤️
Love the video! Where is your necklace from? So pretty!
Loreal delivers! I'm using their Revitalift line and my golly, my skin has never been this good.
Alright, I need to watch this a second time, bc I was distracted by your nails!! 🤩💛 I love it!
I would really like to know how does she get the cleansing balm off her neck and chest...
Probably a damped Soft towel.
So now for combo skin? Can’t wait for that one! Hope I haven’t missed it.
Hi Susan. How long would you say that Elemis tub lasts you? It's very pricey where I live so I want to know if it's worth the "investment"?
Please rosacea sensitive next!!! 💕💕💕
Hi Susan! Could you do a skincare routine for dehydrated skin? I learned from Liah Yoo that even though I can get pretty oily, my skin is also dehydrated because of a compromised skin barrier.
Can you do a review on Paula's Choice products !!!!
Susan, what would you say is the benefit of antioxidants in a night time routine? I'm only informed of its effectiveness in fighting free radicals during the day time when you're out and about. Still gathering all this knowledge :)
We’re exposed to a lot of things that can cause free radical damage including some of the ingredients in our products, so it’s always good to have antioxidants to strengthen your skin and fight those effects.
I was waiting for this 😍😍 Amazing!!💙
I just brought the Bioderma moisturiser and OH MY GOD THANK YOU SUSAN!! I have have very dry skin and eczema and this cream works so well in moisturising and soothing my skin. New holy grail right here!!❤❤❤
