All I know is that Ben Wallace wore headbands on his biceps, not sweatbands like on your wrist... but headbands... on his biceps. Dude not to be messed with lmfao
I always think of the one game that he was with (I think) the Heat and Serge Ibaka was with (I think??) the Raptors. Serge would get into fights pretty easily and almost got into it with James Johnson. He gave James a shove and James pretty much instantly started swinging. Serge just put his hands up instantly. It’s the one time I can think of that Serge didn’t just start fighting back lmao
@@rose4mvp2012 yeah. He also slapped Duncan at the back of the head and threw a ball while Dwight Howard was not facing him. Garnett's a Chihuahua at best
I would have put John Brisker on this list. He led the ABA in fights, all of which he won (and most of which he started), knocked out some of teammate Joby Wright's teeth a year after he became a Seattle Supersonic, was rumored to bring a gun to practice, mysteriously vanished in Uganda in 1978 (where it is rumored he went to fight as a mercenary for dictator Idi Amin).
Plus another ABA legend, Warren Jabali, who made his rep in his rookie season when (back when he went by his original last name, Armstrong) he punched out Jim Jarvis and then stomped his head with enough force to break a couple of his front teeth. Jabali was so physical and so fierce, he was one of the very few players whom even Brisker steered clear of.
Are you sure we shouldn’t add Draymond Green to this list after the 5 ejections in one year, especially with putting Gobert in the sleeper hold, Stomping on Sabonis, and almost knocking out Nurkic, man is about to get a contract with WWE at this point 💀
KG barked a lot but when ot came to actually fighting he'd throw his hands up and walk away. He was an instigator for sure, but he didn't really scrap much.
I don't know if any of these guys were scary. That's a relative term. I would say KG is easily one of the most intense guys to ever play the game, but I don't know if he was all that scary. Perhaps intimidating at best could describe KG as he was capable of having monster games. I remembered him getting into a dust up with Antonio McDyess and KG didn't look like he wanted any of that smoke. He was jumping up and down and looked intense. Yet at the same time he was backing away. The scariest guy IMHO opinion would be Rick Mahorn. I can't recall anyone ever having an advantage against him in any dust up.
Yeah, truly scary guys were guys like Mahorn, Charles Oakley, Maurice Lucas, John Brisker, Warren Jabali, Lonnie Shelton, and Xavier McDaniel. Also, though he might not have looked it because of his size (5' 9"), Calvin Murphy.
Personally, I would say Michael Jordan is also a pretty scary player. I mean, there's not that many players who would make up fake scenarios in their heads just to say motivated. Or the time he stayed up all throughout the 1992 Dream Team Olympic run just because he was that committed to humiliating other players on a world stage or just Toni Kukoc specifically just because Jerry Krause liked him. Or that time when a heckler mocked the Jordan 11's in the 1995-96 season at a Cavs game, and Michael proceeded to lead the Bulls to beat the Cavs 4 more times in the season and win a scoring title, MVP, a championship and a Finals MVP while wearing the Jordan 11's.
KG is not even close to being scary. Guys like Rick Mahorn and Bill Laimbeer are scary, they were the enforcers for that bad boys Pistons, most players were already intimidated by them even before games started, and they also played an integral role on Rodman's development moving forward. Guys like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels and Nikola Pekovic too. Pekovic is that guy you wouldn't want to fw on and or off the court. Either way, props for a great video! 🙌
Oh man you have no idea how refreshing it is to see someone give love to Vernon maxwell he was definatly a character somewhat un fun fact I Believe the reason he went into the stands to fight that guy in Portland is because he was being heckled about his stillborn daughter I might be getting my stories mixed up though
Players: - Charles Oakley - Vernon Maxwell - Stephen Jackson - Karl Malone - Latrell Sprewell - Dennis Rodman - Kermit Washington - Ron Artest/Metta World Peace - Ben Wallace - Kevin Garnett
I would love to see you guys create a second channel talking about wrestling. I'm just assuming yall are fans and I think your style of videos would translate really well.
10:25 "Kinda shutdown Shaq" meaning 22 points at 60 FG%, 11 rebounds and 3 assists. I mean, that's by far is worst lakers finales performance in term of points scored, but that might be because Kobe was suddenly taking 18 shots a game (4 more than Shaq) at like 40 FG% lol. It's factually the finales serie where Shaq is scoring the most efficiently of his Lakers career (not by a lot, but still), if he was actually locked up by Big Ben he should'nt be more efficient than usual.
Yea, this is a narrative that goes around wayyy too often. It was literally the Pistons plan to play Shaq straight up instead of doubling, not because it would work, but because they knew it would piss Kobe off and he'd stop passing to Shaq. Only credit I can give Ben Wallace is that at least he could do something against Shaq without fouling out, but if Kobe's ego hadn't taken over Shaq would have dominated.
i dont understand how KG is number one.... Some of these other guys committed acts of violence. If i had to play against someone who i know fucked someone up id be alot more afraid than just trash talk
Ah good ol' Latrell Sprewell , He was really going to be a star some day in the NBA but , due to the fight between P.J . He was not the same star when he arrived from the Knicks.
Man Joe smith was one of it not my favorite player of that era and was/is definitely my 1st ever and still one of my favorite college players ever along with Steve Francis, Juan Dixon, Steve Blake and Chris Wilcox all of them of course playing for my favorite ncaa team during my favorite NCAA era ever the ACC version of UMD The University of Maryland Terrapins, I still love UMD but it’s not the same without those 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s god tier ACC teams, games and rivalries we were involved in

Kevin Garnett is the no. 1 FAKE tough guy in league's history.. He got punched in the mouth back in the 90's by Anthony Peeler and didn't do anything about it.. Also back down from Dwight in their famous scuffle.. 😂
Latrell Sprewell choking his coach over a disagreement about passing is just insane.

People don't realize the power of a punch. You can get yourself killed just by a punch.
Thank you for acknowledging Big Ben as a pistons fan it’s amazing
