We haven’t had any more than 7 wins in these last 6 seasons, lost at least 10 times 4 seasons, and we no longer have a QB. This punishment has gone on for far too long.
I think if we drafted Justin Tucker 1st overall after losing Manning and already having arguably the greatest kicker ever, the Irsays would’ve been chased out of Indy by an angry mob
If Vick never gets into dogfighting, I think he's worth the number 1 pick. Even when he came back to Philly, he was a great QB. Didn't have the full longevity of Brees, but would've been the franchise QB for an entire decade at least.
I found out today I still have Vick’s Jersey! It’s awkward looking at it now though because I got that jersey literally right before he got thrown in jail for the dogfighting. This also made me glad that Matt Ryan came to Atlanta because boy was I nervous someone else was gonna scoop him up!
Michael Vick was always a bigger threat as a runner than passing. Drew Brees was the more accurate passer their rookie year; he just didn't make highlights in college being on a lousy Perdue team compared to Virginia Tech which Vick took to the BCS national championship game. In the NFL great pocket passers always beat run first quarterbacks in the playoffs.

He's won more games for the ravens than any other player in the team's history, and arguably more than any other player on any team of all time. Man sent us to a super bowl, multiple playoffs, and has the records for most accurate kicker in NFL history and also has the longest kick in NFL history. JT deserves it
@@swimmer8585 I get it! 😳 it’s so long I stoped reading it in the first half but ok…..
Tbh he WAS top 3 best players of the entire draft so I can't even say I disagree. Also I just don't want Russell to have gone anywhere other than Seattle
I honestly think if you can guarantee the most accurate kicker in history, that's worthy of number one overall. It's such a huge part of the game. Compare if closing pitchers and kickers are still more important
The only thing I’d argue with this pick is that they already had Adam vinitieri who may only be slightly worse given that he doesn’t have as big of a leg. Otherwise I love this take!!
Larry Fitzgerald finished his career with more tackles than drops. Amazing.
And the margin is surprisingly high in that regard. He had like 10 more tackles than pass drops.
10:29 yes it would be insane to draft Justin Tucker #1 overall while Adam Vinatieri is on roster

@gold_is_the_best it's not that playing at 35 is an issue. It's that he talked about him not showing any signs of slowing down then he immediately regressed. The reason why doesn't matter, it's just the fact that it happened.
This was such a refreshing "redraft" video. You didn't just pick the best player, but also looked into the context (taking them away from division rival, previous redraft, etc). Well done!
And probably wanted Brady to get murdered behind the Browns' line as well.
It's pretty clever.

Drew Brees is just a beast. Accurate as hell, not much drama either.
I would argue that for 2012 draft, the Colts select Luke Kuechly. I understand your choice as it's a much needed position for the Colts, but Kuechly made every offense tremble with how well he could read the field. Dude was the QB of defense.
AND the Colts wouldn't have needed to draft a QB because they still had Peyton. Bolstering the defense so that Peyton could've retired a Colt 😭
AND the colts ende up With a top 3 kicker of all time anyway with Adam Vinatieri so
Should've taken Luck. Just messed up building around him.
That was a horrible suggestion. If Luck wasn't able to survive the mess of a system in Indy how would a dude half his size survive it? Lmao
We just gonna act like vinateri wasn’t the best kicker of all time ?
Sorry bran, the browns would have 1000% made mahomes a bust. Remember, his couch in college was Kliff Kingsbury
Oh, and while I have you, so would Tom Brady and Josh Allen. A great concept as a QB would not stop the inevitable problem of bad coaching. It took Josh three years to be good, meanwhile Baker was pretty good off the bat when we wasn't coached by 1-32 McGee

Hi! Colts fan here!
Adam V was an absolute legend for years with both the Pats and the Colts. He was the best in the league for a long time!
Luck was killed by his lack of an O-line. Russell Wilson would have faced the same situation. Wilson is, or at least was, good, but he's no Andrew Luck. Luck should have gone down as one of the best QBs of all time, instead he'll be looked back as one of the great what-ifs of 2000's football.
@James A Clouder do people just choose to forget that Russ dealt with poor offensive line play almost his entire career in Seattle?
@@SeahawkGinger the Colts OL was one of the worst in NFL history. It's still awful 11 years later. Wilson had Lynch to help take some of the beatings. Luck never had a RB. Taylor didn't come along until after he retired.

Aaron Rodgers had great weapons most of his seasons. Driver, Jennings, Nelson, Cobb and Adam's over his career. Good TEs, solid RBs and elite pass blocking most seasons too. This narrative needs to die.
I am by no means a Texans fan, but the issue with the 2002 Texans was they had a horrific O-Line. David Carr probably would have worked out to be a good staring QB at the very least if he had gone to almost any other team. Carr was sacked 76 times during that season, which set a league record. Awesome video. Regarding the 2000 Draft, as we could never know what Brady would have achieved in Cleveland, another possible player that could have been picked instead was Brian Urlacher.
Absolutely. I don't think that the Browns would give up on Tim Couch after one year.
I’m a lifelong Browns fan, Brady would’ve been a nobody backup in Cleveland. They came back in 1999…they were an expansion team, not the NE Patriots with Bill and a defense that had all pro and pro bowl talent everywhere and a pro bowl QB in Drew Bledsoe for him to sit behind and learn from for a year because Tim Couch did in fact go down in 01 and 02 so it’s possible if the Browns took Brady instead of Spergon Wynn that he would’ve seen playing time in Cleveland and there wouldn’t be some miracle run he goes on that sparks his legend, he’d be just another name on that famous Browns QB jersey

I will say it's kinda funny watching what you said about the 06 draft not having any crazy elite talent, especially as a bears fan considering that Devin Hester completely changed how people viewed punt returns and how he's in the hall of fame.
