Why? The Bad Boys loved playing the villains, particularly Laimbeer (watch the interviews in their 30 for 30). The only one who may leave the chat is Mahorn for not making this top 10.
isiah thomas is one of the three best point guards in nba history (with curry & magic) and what he and the pistons did and the style they played was incredible. not only on the defensive end, that backcourt with joe dumars was ahead of every other duo. that guy deserves a lot more respect then people give to him. the league was doing everything possible to shut down the pistons during that era but they were the best anyway. and the knicks will fail as long as dolan is their owner, even phil jackson failed.
@lesego2018 funny that you only mention dudes wuthout a ring except for oscar who only got one because of kareem. isiah won in a time where the competition was brutal (lakers, celtics, bulls, blazers etc.) and with no other "superstar" on his team. because of that i would say he is better then nash, stockton etc. also he was a much better defender and equally good on offense. his stats could have been much better but he was always a team first kind of guy and did a lot that did not show in the box score

Chris Paul isn’t a villain but KD is? 💀 as someone from NC Chris Paul is the only player I’ve ever witnessed who was hated by most fans in his home state
You forgot to mention the malice at the palace with Ron Artest going into the stands after getting beer thrown on him. I think Artest should be higher on the list.
I was still a fan even after he went to the Heat, back to Cavs and then to the Lakers. I love and still will love LeBron James. Prime James was RIDICULOUS!
I gotta come to the slight defense of Isiah Thomas. The Larry Bird quote wasn't from him but Dennis Rodman after the Celtics beat the Pistons. A reporter asked Isiah about it where he ended up agreeing and laughing about it. The walk off from when the Bulls finally beat Pistons was led by Bill Laimbeer. He just went along with it.
