The lower the frequency, the longer the wavelength. Not surprising the lower bass notes were more predominant at 100m. But fun to test none the less. :)

Loved the testing you did on those Subwoofers; People found it difficult comparing Pro Audio Woofers with Car Audio Subwoofers - thinking of all the benefits a PA Woofer gets while a Car Audio driver is abused to create a miracle out of a smaller Acoustic area, Your video just proved thousands of people wrong... As to how so many more tests and benefits coming from PA to be added to a Car Audio Speaker - I believe a car audio driver has so much more potential: Shifting Impedence to 8 ohms, Using PA powered Amplifiers stronger with a more accurate rms reading rate, bigger improved designed enclosures (no more limited trunk space) for more accurate porting, Simply adding high quality Passive Crossover Frequency devider with high-end Caps to boost each frequency signal and Since car audio drivers are built with such strong materials, it makes it easier to use smaller drivers to cover higher frequencies - By using a 10 inch "subwoofer" which in it size is actually supposed to be a mid-range woofer to also provide the necessary beneficial conversions to create a driver that covers a far distance while providing accessive mid-bass (Of Course my theory is also information out of a practical assestment I completed a few years ago) But in general, I personally thank you for having the guts to build your own speakers and showing people more possibilities exist in practical tests... Oh, Since your bass sounds so amazing - mind trying a few new ideas to up your mids and tweets as well?
I built a sound system for an Viking Ship Art Car many years ago. Early 90's. It had two 15" Rockford Fosgate subs with a Rockford Fosgate 1600 amp. The worlds most powerful car amp, at the time! The first music we played was Zydeco from Beau Jocque & the Zydeco Hi-Rollers. Lot of low 35-40hz bass guitar. We were almost 2 miles from downtown Houston. We got a panic call from the parade officials, an elephant was going berserk! The crowd and elephant could hear our Zydeco music, over the noise of the parade, from 2 Miles away!!! This was at a time when car amps could maybe push a few hundred real watts. I was putting about 4000 watts into a pair of 15's!!! After the parade, both port tubes were gone! The brand new speaker box's particle board walls were destroyed!
Sebastian Williamas i guess he can't put an equalizer outside and he used his receiver to cut the frequencies. Also it's not that bad if your subs play high notes it just sounds shitty because its hard for the motor to move this much mass at high frequency but it isnt really healthy for them

I was thinking about using my Rockville RGB-12s Powered Sub with a (10”) top for a block party. I know it’s not going to shake the entire block but for the people who are close by and in front of my house will it produce decent bass?!
Honestly you shouldn't use subs like this live. If you use proper subs made for use out side and at concerts then they will carry sound much better. That rockerville should work great.

you're missing the point here, he's demonstrating how loud his subs are outside, meaning he should let us actually hear how loud they are instead of talking over them. And don't you worry about my subs, I love mine.

Everytime you double the distance between you and the subs is a decrease of 6 dB spl
