Does anybody just love how Mickey jumps into Riku's arms? That scene just feels so powerful to me. After how much Mickey helped Riku in CoM it just makes there friendship seem as strong as Sora's with Donald and Goofy.
Yes, I always thought the affection between Mickey and Riku was particular in this scene. Mickey's more like a know-it-all through the story especially with the english translations of his dialogues, so it's touching to see him merely and simply sharing Sora & Riku's joy, like he was showing respect towards the island trio.
I didn't understand why that happened as a kid and I was confused how Mickey and Riku knew each other so well. I thought it was just meant to be "cute" or something. Honestly, I felt the same way and kind of still do. KH1, CoM, and KH2 make up a perfect trilogy that really didn’t need anything else. It especially didn’t need the cluster it descended into from there. I mean, I enjoy the whole series, mess and all, but there was a kind of simple beauty to the story of the first three games that was totally lost as the series continued on.
I just realized; this is the only LEGITIMATELY happy ending that Kingdom Hearts has ever had. Every other Kingdom Hearts game had either a tragic ending or ended on a cliffhanger; like Dream Drop Distance or Re:Coded. In Kingdom Hearts 1, Sora disappears and Kairi is left alone on Destiny Islands. In Chain of Memories; Sora and gang go into an induced coma in order to have their memories restored. In 358/2 days, Roxas unwillingly kills his best friend and gets captured by the organization. In Birth By Sleep, Aqua falls into the realm of darkness after failing to save both of her friends. And finally, in Kingdom Hearts 3 Sora disappears AGAIN after saving Kairi, AGAIN. Geez, for a series that's all about happy, kid-friendly adventuring, they sure do have some downer as fuck endings. This is the only ending where it felt like the series could've ended here, and every character had a satisfying resolution in the end. And no questions were left unanswered too.
I've always said the kh endings are on a bittersweet spectrum, with some leaning more towards bitter (Kh3, bbs, KH1, days) while others lean more towards sweet. Kh2 by far is the sweetest ending, but the one thing that leaves me a little bitter is that shot of Roxas and namine, knowing that they aren't free and have their own lives
What about the context of Roxas' story in days? We see how Riku gave into the darkness, and the relationship that Roxas shared with Axel and Xion, as well as the reason why he left the Organization. Had that game come before this one, I would agree with your statement, but as is, I prefer the greater context of days over leaving as much unanswered.

When Kairi says, “You’re home.” I get chills like it’s not even funny. I’m crying. Because it took 3 games to get back there if you’re including Chain Of Memories. And you finally made it. It hits hard .
It feels like Kairi is saying to sora it fine you don't have to fight anymore you don't have to save the world everything is alright it like you earned your happy ending
honestly this would have been the perfect ending to the series. Riku accepted that he needs the help of his friends to turn to light, and has won over the darkness (which we see when he reverts from looking like Ansem), the Destiny Trio are completely reunited, Roxas accepts that he is one with Sora, and that is his true purpose, agh! this game is just too good! The music, the gameplay, the story, the huge mystery that gets wrapped up beautifully and so naturally at the end is just gorgeous. This is my absolute favorite game of the franchise, and imo BBS doesn’t even compare to this masterpiece of a game.
To tell you the truth this wouldn't be exactly the right ending, dont get me wrong i agree on the point you are making. But the thing that would've botherd people about this ending is that at this point xehanorts heartless(ansem) and his nobody(xemnas) were both destroyed but wouldve spark a question if they would go back into their original form And i do think that somwhere in this game it was confirmed to be possiple. So that would've been a huge cliffhanger if it was left at where nobody would understand xehanorts true intentions before his split. Thats my opinion.
I love the stories of BBS and 358/2 days tho. We got cool new characters such as Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Vanitas, Old Xehanorth, Eraqus and Xion, the tragic fates of the new protagonists were crushing and old Xehanorth and Vanitas were great antagonists, the keyblade war seemed really interesting and we all wanted Xion back and the way the games ended really made you look forward to the next one. KH 3D and KH 3 ruined it tho. These 2 games introduced a lot of crap like the power of waking and time travel to the series, made KH chi canon, the revelation of Xehanorths true motive and the "soft" ending he got because of it was totally out of character for such an evil person. The KH original characters were badly used inside of the Disney worlds compared to previous entries in the series, Sora being naive as fuck in KH 3D for no reason (look at him meeting Neku)... I could talk all day about what is wrong with KH 3D and KH 3. The series still had a lot of potential after KH 2 BBS and 358/2 days and in my opinion it still has a lot of potential with the secret ending of KH 3 being the thing that sucks least about the game.
@@Livin900 The whole thing about the full person coming back when both the nobody and heartless are destroyed was introduced after KH2 so it could be the perfect ending, they added this over stuff to extend the series considering how loved it is and the money it can make. (hence the less satisfying kh3 ending and upcoming dlc)
That's from the cutscene where Goofy kidnapped him, don't remember ? He had to break both his thumbs to get rid of the handcuffs or Goofy would have banged him.
This ending is so perfect, it’s almost as if the developers didn’t know how to continue the story, so they were forced to make a super-convoluted backstory that basically repeats itself over and over again.
I remember back in 06, I honestly believed this was the ending to Kingdom Hearts. It was just so well done, the final battle with Xemnas is arguably one of the best final bosses in video gaming history. Period. Combine that epic final boss battle with this ending and its perfection. Keep in mind, this ending works so fantastically because it ties directly into the first games bittersweet ending. Sora kept his promise to Kiari that he was coming back home. And, a year later, he kept that promise. That was the entire point of KH II. The series could have just ended right here and I think a lot of people would have been satisfied.
KH could have stopped at 2 i understand. The ending was complete. However im quite happy that we still got terra, ventus, and aqua. They were all sad at the end of their game and having KH3/re:mind’s ending give them a happy reuinion gives me life. Yeah im sad sora/riku/kairi still dont have a happy ending at the end of 3, but man am I happy for terra, ven, and aqua.
This game ended on the tightest of bows and I think everybody would be 100% safisfied if this was the last one of these ever, or at least soft reboot it Kingdom hearts 3 concluded a saga that was Nomura just made up as the series went along and that game ended with just enough loose ends to milk it further! What!? What's the matter with you, Nomura?!
This is still the most satisfying ending I’ve ever experienced in a game. I’ve had game ending leave me on the edge of my seat, leaving me wanting more. I’ve had endings make my jaw drop in surprise. But I’ve never had an ending leave me so happy about every aspect. Nothing felt under or over whelming, everything was perfect.
honestly this was a very conclusive ending, id be satisfied if kingdom hearts 2 was the end of the storyline, after everything sora's been through he finally returned home after finding riku and mickey, and roxas finally got the closure he wanted and needed and lives on in sora's heart and is connected to Naminé in kairi's heart
Good to see that im not the only one who thinks this should have been the end of the story. Till this point the story atleast kind of made sense and seems to have a perfect ending. For roxas and namine the ending was also perfect. As long sora and kairi are together they are together. But then they made characters like xion and stuff and this meant nothing anymore..
They never let anyone fucking die. Axel should have died sacrificing himself. Now he’s a dog shit key blade wielder. Ven aqua and terra made at least enough sense for them to come back since it was set up that way but literally have the balls to kill people in the story ffs, they did the same shit in ff7 remake. I don’t get it.
@@oomp9123 KH3 was meant to be the grand finale of the Xehanort saga and it fumbled that to all hell. An ending of a story arc shouldn't be flaccid just to lead into the next story arc. KH2 was in the middle of the series' first arc and it still felt more satisfying than the end of said saga can't wait for KH4 in 15 years
@@systemshocker2875 if KH4 actually comes out in a timely manner, I'll be happy as hell to be wrong but KH3's first trailer was in 2013 and it released 6 years later
Everytime I hear Sanctuary or Sinple and Clean my mind just drifts back to KH. I'm so glad and thankful that Utada Hikaru did the whole trilogy. Face my Fears and Don't think Twice were okay but not as good as the first two.
What makes this ending so much more powerful is remembering the last time Sora, Kairi and Riku were on that beach, it was the beginning of the first Kingdom Hearts game where Riku had begun being influenced by the Darkness, Kairi's soul was seperated from her body and Sora was split from his friends and would wind up in Traverse town.
This is not just grossly interpolated, I have used an artificial intelligence and the render took averagely 15 hours. Even as someone who’s excited for KH4, this should’ve been the end of the franchise imo. What happens here is essentially the end goal of the series anyways. They literally created the BBS trio and made the xehanort plot far more convoluted for the sake of just extending out the conflict and story unnecessarily.
Egil bro i *recently* got into kingdom hearts. just finished 2 and currently watching the cutscenes to re:coded. And tbh, i 100% agree w/ you. I don’t know how good the upcoming games are, but so far, hands down, KH2 is the best game in the series and I wouldn’t have minded at all if the series ended here
Kuriisu KH3 is a good conclusion in my opinion tbh, unless you count Sora basically just dipping at the end. But I do agree, KH2 does have the best ending.
It should have but it just couldn't... There were too much unexplained things, such as: 1) Why Roxas, Sora's nobody, doesn't look like Sora? 2) Who is Ansem (Heartless) and Xemnas' somebody? 3) Why and how did Organization XIII's members become nobodies? Etc etc...
“W-we’re back.” “You’re home.” Perfect ending. Their story didn’t need to continue past this. Thankfully there aren’t any loose ends here, so if you want this to be the end, it can be. The letter in the bottle can be whatever adventure you want it to be. Just….don’t unlock the secret BBS cutscene lol.
This makes me cry Every. Single. Time. Seeing Sora and Riku finally reunite with Kairi plus Mickey, Donald, and Goofy all being there is one of the sweetest and happiest endings to a game I've ever experienced. I wouldn't have been upset if that was the end of the franchise as much as I love the games that followed this one
I don't think the KH franchise should have ended here. But i believe this should have been it for Sora as the main character or in general and it became a anthology like Final Fantasy has.
I just beat KH2 today for the first time, & holy crap, that ending made me cry,! Like wow, it hit me hard mainly because of the hardships that Sora & his pals have been through in the last year. It’s a very satisfying ending, & way better than KH3’s ending honestly. In my opinion, KH2 should’ve been the last game in the series. If not, it should’ve ended Sora’s story because he he achieved his goals, which was to rescue his friends. I felt like later KH games kinda ruins this perfect ending since Sora & his friends return. I also feel like we should’ve gotten a new generation of Keyblade Wielders, but whatever. I love this ending, & KH2 is now one of my favorite games of all-time, I’ll never forget it! 😭
Dude imagine if soras journey ended here. It would have been beautiful. If square wanted to make a new game use new kids and have sora and riku return as older characters and make them mentor figures. Just imagine...
Yeah in my opinion Riku's redemption arc needed to continue as it did'nt feel complete in this game. Dreap Drop Distance was the bow to really wrap that up neatly. Also alot of charachters benefited from the series not ending at 2 for instance Luxarod. He honestly felt like they just forgot he existed until the final level and then suddenly went "oh crap right Luxaord is still alive." he has no cutscenes in the world that never was until you get to his boss fight. But now he's got a much more meaty role, and arguably the same can be said of Xigbar honestly.
Kingdom hearts 2 is my favourite game of all time, it changed my life. Kingdom Hearts is and always will be my favourite video game series of all time.
I always loved how real this ending felt. No corny romantic kiss or embrace. I miss whne the characters felt like people and weren't so cartoony. Sora drove me nuts in kh3. yes he wasn't the brightest but he wasn't a complete moron
He was a complete badass in this game fr, in kh3 all he did was whine and cry and be dumb as fuck. It pissed me off to play as him with all his light and love and friendship like I was 5 and watching Barney. Like there was hints of that in 1 and 2 but damn, let some characters actually fuckin die and stop using sora as a comedic relief. It really shows with 3 and ff7 remake that it’s a new generation of people in square doing the work. I miss the OGs
@@Duality333 yeah. Sora had a goofy take but most of the time i was a barrier to his depression. In kh you saw a few scenes where he would laugh it off then stare into thr distance. In kh3 he honestly came across as borderling brain damaged.
Sora was about to hug Kairi you stupid Donald and Goofy. Outta way animals. You couldn't just be happy that your faces appeared in the ending huh, you had to waste it all up.
I finished Kingdom Hearts 2 today and I'm fucking crying. I've been doing a marathon of all the games and while some of them I have played when I was little, KH2 was way too nostalgic to me. I was 8 years old when I first played it and I remember having my sister help me out as a kid to beat it. And now I'm 22. Having finished the game all by myself it gives it a whole new meaning it's like I'm reliving everything but with a more appreciative approach. I freaking loved this game from start to finish. The only game I have yet to play is KH3 but I will play it once I'm done with my marathon that way Im super fresh with all the story content!! Next up Birth By Sleep PS: Aqua used to be my Favorite Female character as a kid 🥺
Same boat as you man. I recently picked the series back up because I never beat it when I was a kid. So glad I did! Just finished KH2 last night and looking forward to playing KH3 soon. Amazing series and this ending was awesome
If we’re being honest, Kingdom Hearts 2 was the natural end to the series. As a HUGE Roxas lover I adored the existence of 358/2, but the second they added Zion and then all the BBS drama, they forced a wider plot that needed resolving Granted it’s been a while since I’ve played 2 and I can’t remember if it had any wider story plots itself that had gone unresolved (if we ignore the message in a bottle post credit) but having finally done KH3, this was the correct way to end this series
QuickSilver645 as happy as this ending was for Sora, Kairi and Riku, it was not a happy ending for Aqua, Ventus, Terra, Xion, Namine and Roxas. There had to be more games since it was in Sora’s hands to save all those people from their sad fates. Hence the message in a bottle at the end of KH2
Birth by sleep and 358/2 days came out after this game so it was not necessary to show an ending for aqua, terra, ventus, and xion since their stories had not been even shown yet. As for Roxas and Namine, I think this is a perfectly happy ending for them since they are reunited just like Kairi and Sora are. They might not be completely alive but they are still inside Sora and Kairi. Overall, I think this is a much better ending than kh 3.
I don’t know if this is because of something else or if the people that developed this cutscene did this but you can hear Kairi voice echo as she says “SORA! RIKU!” And it’s honestly amazing attention to detail.
It's so symbolic how Riku picks up Mickey 😍 It's so beautiful and really highlights their loving relationship as lovers THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER OMG #RICKEY
Been in a KH mood lately and it feels good to get back to some of the older games and see just how far we've come. I saw someone say that this is where the series ended. That the story ended here. And if you think that way then more power to you!...I don't. I will agree this feels like more of a conclusion for the main cast(Sora, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy), but you have to keep in mind. Story/lore wise. Some things were still unresolved. Roxas and Namine were no longer their own person, Xion basically ceased to exist, and Aqua, Terra, and Ven all lost apart of themselves. And yes I know BBS came afterwards, but it was such a good game with great characters and a superb story. So, I personally count it. Plus it was teased in KH2. I think as the secret ending. I will admit that KH3's ending is both great...and disappointing. It's great because it finally closes so many chapters on alot of beloved characters, but the way they handled Sora's ending wasn't the best. Overall, no. I wouldn't say the series ended here for me. It's a great ending, but I still am glad we got more. Despite what people say of KH3. It had alot of strong moments and I wouldn't want it to end before that.
Still the best ending to any game in the series. While I have enjoyed some of the post KH2 stuff the first trilogy of games works so well as a complete package
I cried at this cutscene the last few times I saw it. It had been some time since last time I saw it, and I thought: After all this time and seeing it for the 14th time there's no way I can't handle it watching it out of the blue. And wrong I was. Now I have to go clean my glasses.
To this day this cutscenes is still amazing i love how roxas and namine appear within sora and kairi roxas and namine is my favourite ship in kingdom hearts
The series really could have ended here. Everything felt right, it felt satisfying. Even with Roxas and Namine still in Sora and Kairi it fits the idea of duality, the metaphor that’s important there about accepting the shadow and integrating into your personality. But I do love the other characters we got to meet so now the goal is getting another satisfying ending at some point.
This is still such a beautiful yet bittersweet ending. I think I would have been satisfied if the story had ended here, but then I see the scene at 2:53 again and I feel sad, and 358 Days/2 only added more to that. I'm not a fan of what happened to KH from Dream Drop Distance onwards, but I always be glad the Sea Salt trio received a better life and future.
You know, Xemnas unintentionally let Kairi and the others wait on the Destiny Islands on purpose while trying to finish off Sora and Riku, and yet he failed, resulting in Sora and Riku back home where Kairi waited like he initially promised he would in the first game.
It's been about 3 years since I first played KH2, and sometimes when I just really need to see something happy, I'll come back to this clip. It'll make me cry, and then I'll feel a bit better.
What makes this even happier is that Roxas in one way or another, finally went to the beach.

Right? Agree completely
Yeah like kingdom hearts 1 was like a part 1 then chain of memories was part 2 then Kingdom hearts 2 was the final part.
Man Sora's hair dried R E A L L Y F A S T
Oh god...
Riku... your thumb...

OMG 😂
Holy shit I never realized that 😂
That's from the cutscene where Goofy kidnapped him, don't remember ? He had to break both his thumbs to get rid of the handcuffs or Goofy would have banged him.
I never seen that!😯
2:14 this will be me reuniting with my friends after quarantine ends.
I don’t have friends. I’ll have to make some. Looks like I’m Roxas.
This'll be me reuniting with my one best friend. I haven't seen her for over a year....
If I see one of my people and at the same time my crush, I would be crying as hell, because I REALLY miss her, so much.
The series could have just ended right here and I think a lot of people would have been satisfied.
not lying
And a much better conclusion than...
Xehanort: “I’m a misunderstood good guy”
I like the ending to KH2 a lot more then KH3. Especially with how Sora goes “We’re back” and Kairi reaches her hand out and says “Your Home”
So true
I'd rather if this was the last KH ever
@@ryanhowe6543 true ending of kingdom hearts
That kills me every time
KH could have stopped at 2 i understand.
This is where the story ended. I don't care if they kept it going. Sora and Kairie taking hands was the end of the story.
I couldn't agree more

The End
Nothing happened after or before that
This game ended on the tightest of bows and I think everybody would be 100% safisfied if this was the last one of these ever, or at least soft reboot it
Kingdom hearts 3 concluded a saga that was Nomura just made up as the series went along and that game ended with just enough loose ends to milk it further!
What!? What's the matter with you, Nomura?!
Well, you're awfully friendly
While I enjoyed playing the games that followed for their gameplay, this is definitely when KH reached its speak in storytelling.
@@jonathanquiros6280 Yup, agree. This ending was just satisfactory.
This was a satisfying ending. If it ended like this, I would have accepted it.
BUT THEN I JUST HAD TO PLAY THE OTHER GAMES-
honestly this was a very conclusive ending, id be satisfied if kingdom hearts 2 was the end of the storyline, after everything sora's been through he finally returned home after finding riku and mickey, and roxas finally got the closure he wanted and needed and lives on in sora's heart and is connected to Naminé in kairi's heart
I'd be lying if I said watching this DOES NOT gives me childhood memories and the chills.
💯

His face. I couldn't stop crying.
I really liked this ending. I wouldn't have mind if the series ended here. Because everything else goes batshit crazy.
Good to see that im not the only one who thinks this should have been the end of the story. Till this point the story atleast kind of made sense and seems to have a perfect ending.
For roxas and namine the ending was also perfect. As long sora and kairi are together they are together. But then they made characters like xion and stuff and this meant nothing anymore..
but kh2 left too much questions, they already knew that this wasn't going to be the last game as they even put the secret ending to tease bbs
I don’t get it.
the series could have ended right here well yknow if it werent for the fact that people were time traveling and coming back from the dead
This ending has more closure than KH3's
I hope KHIV has more closure.
KH3's ending wasn't meant for closure it was meant to setup the lore for the next game
@@oomp9123 KH3 was meant to be the grand finale of the Xehanort saga and it fumbled that to all hell. An ending of a story arc shouldn't be flaccid just to lead into the next story arc. KH2 was in the middle of the series' first arc and it still felt more satisfying than the end of said saga
can't wait for KH4 in 15 years
@@chumunga648 you sure? They already got the trailer out for 4

Who’s here after watching the smash bros ultimate reveal ?
Everytime I hear Sanctuary or Sinple and Clean my mind just drifts back to KH. I'm so glad and thankful that Utada Hikaru did the whole trilogy. Face my Fears and Don't think Twice were okay but not as good as the first two.
I agree with you about Face My Fears, but Don't Think Twice actually managed to hit me harder than both Simple & Clean and Sanctuary.
@@GaeaRage0798 yes especially Oath which is the Japanese version of don't think twice
I'm here to verify Riku's elongenated thumb when lifting Mickey up 2:20
This is not just grossly interpolated, I have used an artificial intelligence and the render took averagely 15 hours.
These samples are at 8x pixel scale, to concentrate on the resolution and not the quality.
The greater resolution on these example did not exist before I submitted it to the program.

Even as someone who’s excited for KH4, this should’ve been the end of the franchise imo. What happens here is essentially the end goal of the series anyways. They literally created the BBS trio and made the xehanort plot far more convoluted for the sake of just extending out the conflict and story unnecessarily.
3:10 Smash Bros bringing in Sora as the final DLC character🤌🔥
Just here to Re:mind myself that the series should have ended here.
thank you, glad i’m not the only one
Egil bro i *recently* got into kingdom hearts. just finished 2 and currently watching the cutscenes to re:coded. And tbh, i 100% agree w/ you. I don’t know how good the upcoming games are, but so far, hands down, KH2 is the best game in the series and I wouldn’t have minded at all if the series ended here
Kuriisu KH3 is a good conclusion in my opinion tbh, unless you count Sora basically just dipping at the end.
But I do agree, KH2 does have the best ending.
As much as I like the other content I can’t help but agree with you
It should have but it just couldn't... There were too much unexplained things, such as:
1) Why Roxas, Sora's nobody, doesn't look like Sora?
2) Who is Ansem (Heartless) and Xemnas' somebody?
3) Why and how did Organization XIII's members become nobodies?
Etc etc...
“W-we’re back.”
“You’re home.”
Perfect ending. Their story didn’t need to continue past this. Thankfully there aren’t any loose ends here, so if you want this to be the end, it can be. The letter in the bottle can be whatever adventure you want it to be. Just….don’t unlock the secret BBS cutscene lol.
Unlock enjoy the cinematography and nothing else.
The letter to destiny… To Smash…
Here again because of Smash!
With how kingdom hearts 3 turned out I wished the series ended here it was perfect.
Kingdom hearts true ending
Well sora finally made it
I wish with all my heart that the series could’ve ended here….
Going back to this masterpiece of art.. makes me realize kh3 had no chance.
The series should have ended at KH2 and I would've been happy.
@@JackIsNotInTheBox so true kingdom hearts 2 is the best it should have ended there
Dude imagine if soras journey ended here. It would have been beautiful. If square wanted to make a new game use new kids and have sora and riku return as older characters and make them mentor figures. Just imagine...
Yeah, that would have been definitely cool.
Just make them chose their keyblade master successors.
as much as i’d surely say that this was *the* best ending for the series, i also can’t imagine how i’d feel if sora’s journeys hadn’t continued :((
Yeah in my opinion Riku's redemption arc needed to continue as it did'nt feel complete in this game.

Wow this is such a powerful ending…
Next up Birth By Sleep
PS: Aqua used to be my Favorite Female character as a kid 🥺
Same boat as you man. I recently picked the series back up because I never beat it when I was a kid. So glad I did! Just finished KH2 last night and looking forward to playing KH3 soon. Amazing series and this ending was awesome
How empty did kh3 leave you
It really should have ended this way
The series should have ended here. KH3 is just rehashing the same ending of KH1.
In my headcanon the series ended here, this ending cannot be topped
This was originally supposed to be the final game in the series.
When I watch this it feels like everything is right with the world
This meeting gets me emotional 💛
That smile from Roxas inside Sora... my god I cried so hard.
If we’re being honest, Kingdom Hearts 2 was the natural end to the series.
As a HUGE Roxas lover I adored the existence of 358/2, but the second they added Zion and then all the BBS drama, they forced a wider plot that needed resolving
Granted it’s been a while since I’ve played 2 and I can’t remember if it had any wider story plots itself that had gone unresolved (if we ignore the message in a bottle post credit) but having finally done KH3, this was the correct way to end this series
Kingdom hearts should've ended here
QuickSilver645 as happy as this ending was for Sora, Kairi and Riku, it was not a happy ending for Aqua, Ventus, Terra, Xion, Namine and Roxas.
They fucked KH3 up so bad, especially with the nonsense secundary games
Damn and i remember I was DYING to buy KH3 😭😭
JK we really thought this time they could finally end things there but it didn’t go as we expected it to be, especially When Sora Vanished.
I love a good ending, and this game does it for me, could’ve ended it right here and I’d have been happy
KH3 doesn't exist this is where it ends in my mind. The ending every time gives me the chills.
I don’t know if this is because of something else or if the people that developed this cutscene did this but you can hear Kairi voice echo as she says “SORA! RIKU!” And it’s honestly amazing attention to detail.
Yeah, that kind of detail catch my attention too.
It's so symbolic how Riku picks up Mickey 😍 It's so beautiful and really highlights their loving relationship as lovers THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER OMG #RICKEY

When Roxas and Namine appear, that almost burst out of tear inside of me. 😢
I ship them especially Sora and Kairi. ❤
There's is probably a war going on between the KH2 fans and the KH3 fans
Still the best ending to any game in the series. While I have enjoyed some of the post KH2 stuff the first trilogy of games works so well as a complete package
Such a shame SE decided to get greedy and draw it out to the point of it being completely unrecognizable. This would’ve been the perfect ending.
If the kh franchise ended with this then it would have ended on a very high note
I cried at this cutscene the last few times I saw it. It had been some time since last time I saw it, and I thought: After all this time and seeing it for the 14th time there's no way I can't handle it watching it out of the blue.
And wrong I was.
Now I have to go clean my glasses.
Your last sentence killed me.
This still make me fucking cry and I’m almost 30 I love this ending so much that game coulda ended here and I would’ve been so content
To this day this cutscenes is still amazing i love how roxas and namine appear within sora and kairi roxas and namine is my favourite ship in kingdom hearts
I've jumped into the KH franchise for the first time last year at the age of 27. This scene genuinely made me cry.
One sky one destiny... Smash
