    I'd put a zipper on the butter square and make it a embedded coin pouch

      That's so smart! It's great becuz as a college student I have so many stuff to bring that I can't simply put inside my backpack plus our public commute here is so hectic so this embedded coin pouch would be very handy!

    I’m brand new to crocheting, and this bag is just insanely adorable and cute!!! 😍😍😍 I’m absolutely trying this out once I get the hang of the actual crocheting part 😅😂 this is an EXCELLENT tutorial, you explained and showed everything so well, you do a great job at making this beginner friendly. Not saying I’m the best teacher bc I can get caught up in doin this as well sometimes, but it is disappointing when people assume the watcher/student already has a lot of experience and will give the tutorial based on that. Many of us are still learning the basics! So thank you for being a thoughtful, detailed and lovely teacher! ❤

    i just wanted to say this was very easy to follow and i really enjoyed it ! this was maybe the 4th or 5th thing i’ve ever crocheted and it turned out perfect :) i didn’t have any stuffing so i just turned the butter into a double pocket and it still turned out great. i love this stitch and im actually making a little waffle rug with it right now. thank you for this tut !

    Never knew I needed this in my life till I made it!! It's such a fast and easy pattern I absolutely love it I did tweak it a Lil tho by making the butter into a zip able pouch!! I just seamed the sides and made a lining similar to the one for this bag but added a zipper and sewed it in and it's the greatest!! 😊😊 100/10 will most likely make more in a 🌈 of colors like blue lol.

      @@arielapadilla5559 how did u do it?

    • @arielapadilla5559
      @arielapadilla5559 Рік тому +1

      @@wellthatspretty I cut 2 pieces of fabric sewed them to the side of the mini zipper then folded the pieces and seemed the edges all around to make the pouch lining. To attach it to the butter I unzipped the pouch and placed it into the butter sleeve and did a running stitch along the inside right under the zipper with yellow thread to connect it. There are probably better ways to do it but this worked for me. Hope this isn't to confusing I'm not the best at explaining things.

    Alright, time for round two; I've made this bag once, and unfortunately it turned out a little crooked because I was still very brand new to crochet and my tension was off here and there. This time, however, I have a bit more experience and I'm hoping that it will come out even!
    Timestamps for convenience: 3:09 general dimensions , 4:02 supplies needed (charisma yarn, 8mm/US size L crochet hook) , 4:34 slipknot , 5:16 beginning (chain 59 or end on odd number) , 6:46 beginning of row 1 (skip 2 stitches, double crochets all the way down) , 7:40 flip project (chain 2 to build height) , 8:14 beginning of row 2 and waffle stitch (double crochet twice and then double crochet into the post of every 3rd stitch) , 11:19 end of row 2, flip over, 11:44 start of row 3 (opposite of before so double crochet through post twice, and then double crochet through every 3rd normal stitch) , 13:15 end of row 3 (chain 2 and flip project) , 13:31 start of row 4 (original pattern of double crochet twice into normal stitches, and then double crochet into the post every 3rd stitch) , 14:24 **what to do if you need to attach another ball of yarn** , 15:44 optional border (slip stitches all across the top) , 16:37 methods to attach the bag together , 21:26 how to line the bag , 21:58 straps, 22:43 slipknot, 22:48 (chain 5) , 23:04 (skip one and double crochet into next 4 stitches) , 23:22 (chain 1, flip project, skip 1 chain, single crochet all the way down) , 23:47 (chain 1, flip, repeat) (will edit this as I go!)

    i noticed while i was making this that i only have 19 squares in each row instead of 20. im confused on why this happened since i followed the pattern correctly. does it have to be 20 squares, even if when i fold it in half it has 9?

    Just a question, would you be okay if I commented here with a written version of this project? I don't see any written versions anywhere, so I made one for myself as I followed your video. I just want others to be able to read it too! (Obviously I credit you). Thank you, I love your videos. ❤
