I appreciate the short tutorials. Thanks for not talking, talking, talking, but actually telling us what and how to do it. The videos are quite clear. Yeah!!!
Do you know what I really appreciate about your tutorials they are to the point and easy to follow and you don't just talk talk talk like some of the other tutorials on crochet and beading. Drives me crazy so thank you!
This! I skip through so many videos while they talk about everything but how to do something. Some videos I skip altogether, opting for someone else who will get to the point. I just discovered this channel today, and am gobbling up information that is straight, to the point, and crystal clear. I'm a happy crocheter now!
omg so true there is one other that is good Jayda in stitches but half the video is all BS. I end up skipping cause honestly i just want to crochet lol
Your tutorials are the BEST!!! So easy to follow and just to the point! I dont have to listen to someones life story before learning the pattern! AMAZING!!
Thank you a million times. 💜 Not only an easy to understand video but l'm also so relieved to find one that doesn't go on forever! A quick easy tutorial. Thanks to you I have mastered this stitch in just minutes!! 💜
Yours is by far the easiest waffle stitch. I have recently learned if a particular stitch I'm having trouble with is complicated to look you up and see if you have that stitch in your collection and you make it a little more simpler 😊😊. I absolutely love this stitch ❤. Tyfs God bless you

I commend you for your excellent videos that are straight to the point without having verbal diarrhea. Learning to master a particular stitch is a joy with your easy to follow demos. Thank you.
I could cry. I've been trying to learn how to do this stitch for a while but it was overwhelming and complicated. Thank you so much for this easy tutorial. I can finally try to do my waffle stitch blanket.
Thank you for another great video. You make the crochet stitches so easy to learn. Your videos are “short and sweet.” You make it so that I can do a new stitch or complete a new project without having to watch a really long video. Thank you!
I said the same...but I am ending each row with the right amount of stitches for the pattern. (either the fpdc, dc, dc - or fpdc, fpdc, dc) the last dc for either one is on your turning chain from previous row
I love your channel ❤️☕! You're a wonderful teacher!!! No talking and "caressing"each stitch. No showing..EVERY SINGLE STITCH. DIRECT AND TO THE POINT! I 💕 that. Keep it up..coz I'm subscribeing
I am a noobie with crocheting. Been at it since October 2020. I have watched hundreds of videos and I find yours the best. Very clear, easy to follow etc. I am currently working on a blanket for my mom with this stitch. Can I just say that I am absolutely in love with it. I just love the feel of it. thank you!
Thank you so much for your video. I’ve done the waffle stitch before, but it’s been a while. I love how you are to the point. I so appreciate that you put abbreviations at the top of the video which makes it easier for me to understand. I never learned to read stitches. So with your abbreviations and visual stitches, I can understand. Thank you so much. 💕
Hi Donna. Your waffle tutorial is the best I’ve ever done! It has taken me a very long time to learn this. I’m not a beginner but for some reason this never clicked until now. I’ve used a lot of your other patterns and they are fantastic. Thank you!❤
I have to echo others comments. Your videos are straight forward and easy to understand. Not a lot of chatter and I like that!! Your new follower...…...wahnema
What kills me is how MANY different stitches to start another row and which hooks and the differences go on but it looks the same. I have started over lots and I am plenty confused. I figured all were the same so I neglected to mark the one I was watching so I could continue the way I started. Also, everyone crochet so lose.I LOVE it. I'm just no good at it. Lol. I have been crocheting many many years. My knowledge about patterns are short. I borrowed someone's tablet cloth or dollie and followed along that way. I do recommend it. Thank you Anastasia!! I LOVE the colored yarn you found. Wish I could find that one. I LOVE colors like this.
Thank you ma'am ...your patterns really awesome ...I'd tried some ...and tend to learn more ...I always watch your videos ...keep it up it's very useful.Thank you again 👆👍🙏
Donna, thank you so much for this clear, concise and easy-to-understand tutorial on the waffle stitch! I tried doing this from a written pattern a few months ago and couldn't grasp it. I watched your video and understood it instantly! You're a wonderful teacher and I'm so glad to have found your channel!
Thank you for this tutorial. It's easy to follow. I've done many of your projects and the result is always beautiful. Thanks a lot from Buenos Aires, Argentina👍👍
Thank you so much for your videos ... They are always packed with so much information , new techniques & tips ... You are an Amazing Mentor ... You're so personable & helpful, it's like having a friend who has your back ❣️
Thank you for a clearcut tutorial for the waffle stitch. I have done it before, but you explained it so well. I am making a baby boy blanket for a June "birth" day. Thank you!
Hi Donna I've been wanting to learn a different crochet pattern and this is the one I'm going to try I know the easy granny square .the double crochet and single crochet . And round crochet circles. But the way you teach I will be able to learn the steps. Thank you very much.
I was really thinking about trying this stitch but it looked so complicated as I'm still new to crochet. But with your instructions I will be attempting. Thank you for easy clear instructions
Thank you for making this understandable for a novice at patterns. I have always done just granny squares so am looking forward to making blankets for my 2 great grandchildren both due in oct
I always wanted to try this stitch, but was a little intimidated by the way it looked. Once again you made learning a stitch easy-peasy. Thank you so much for your fabulous videos. BTW: I am making an infinity cowl with a boucle yarn...man, does it look cool, but, the yarn is warm...lol. You da' best.🤗
Thank you, this was super helpful. Super straightforward and easy to follow. I'll be using this to make a Christmas present for my little sister. Thanks!
Your waffle stitch tutorial was the easiest one I’ve seen ... b/c 1st you do a chain 3 at the end & others don’t. Then you explain how the “3 pattern stitch” doesn’t start until after the first 2 stitches ... which has been throwing me off
hi! i’m just a tad confused about the first row where you insert the hook into the 5th stitch - it leaves a huge gap for me and on row 2 it doesn’t end with a 3 combo for some reason?
I tried this stitch from a few sites, each one is done just a bit different and left me totally confused. I did this one line by line and after some trail and error figured it out. It's actually simple once you get the hang of it. Thank you!! Do you have any tutorials on making this into a pillow sham for a standard size bed pillow?
I chained 150 and had 1 chain leftover. I even made sure I had the right number of stitches and still had one leftover. What am I doing wrong? You didn’t show us the last three stitches of your rows so I couldn’t tell if I had done something wrong.
This is my 1st time trying this pattern with you. It seemed pretty easy till I got to the end of her A1I wasn't sure what I should and on. I look like I have a extra stitch left. I'm not ending on a Single crochet so did I miss count.
This is surely witchcraft! I've put off learning this one for years as I thought it would be really complicated - can't wait to get started now! Great video, thanks!

At the end of the row with the waffle stitch, I would like to see how you end the row to begin the next row. Thank you, you have beautiful work!

Hi Naztazia, beautiful tutorial! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, this was super helpful. Super straightforward and easy to follow. I'll be using this to make a Christmas present for my little sister. Thanks!
I'm making a blanket using this pattern! I've learned a few from you already
How many did you chain for a blanket?
@@jackiejohnson6193 I chained about 100 to 150. It's been awhile since I made s waffle st blanket. That many chains will make a 30 to35 inch blanket
Thank you so much
@@jackiejohnson6193 your welcome what I I've learned was the smaller your Needle is the more stitches you need to make one that big. I used a size 5
Creativity at its best, glad I learned this today.
Hello naztazia.i m indian your crochet teaching is so good thank you
Your waffle stitch tutorial was the easiest one I’ve seen ... b/c 1st you do a chain 3 at the end & others don’t. Then you explain how the “3 pattern stitch” doesn’t start until after the first 2 stitches ... which has been throwing me off
Fab isn't she. Easiest video to follow.
You make it look so easy! I'm a beginner but I'm going to try this out. Thank you so much! I love this pattern.
You are an amazing instructor!! Thank you
hi! i’m just a tad confused about the first row where you insert the hook into the 5th stitch - it leaves a huge gap for me and on row 2 it doesn’t end with a 3 combo for some reason?
I was also confused about this as I ended up with a gap too, only on that row.
I live your tutorials so easy to follow
Thanks very much! 🥰
Very objective and good teacher. Well done.
Thanks Naztazia, ive been wanting to try this pattern for ages but couldn't find a tutorial that was clear enough so thanks for sharing with us x
Thanks for the tutorial Donna. I enjoyed making it.

Absolutely a lot of fun stitch. once you get the hang of it
Your video was very helpful my first time doing this stitch
I love this Waffle Stitch. You speak well and thank you for your instructions
I tried this stitch from a few sites, each one is done just a bit different and left me totally confused. I did this one line by line and after some trail and error figured it out. It's actually simple once you get the hang of it. Thank you!!

Wonderful video, the pattern is very clean and your steps are easy to follow :)
Thanks. That looks easy! But it's so effective. Must try it.
Love your tutorials!
Thanks so much!
Woavv! Really great stitch. Thank you.
I love the colours so much keep going 😋 Donna
nice job 🙆
This was super easy to follow TY 😊
Hi! Do you put the last dc of the row into the turning chain or into the chain space. Thank you!
I chained 150 and had 1 chain leftover. I even made sure I had the right number of stitches and still had one leftover. What am I doing wrong? You didn’t show us the last three stitches of your rows so I couldn’t tell if I had done something wrong.
Maybe follow along with the written pattern (link is in the first pinned comment) to see where the discrepancy is occurring.
💕 your tutorials, always to the point and very clear!!! ✨
Love your video
What do I do with border
It is sticking out; is and have that large gap
Hi, I was wondering how you do the colour change on the waffle stitch. Is there a way you can show that. Thanks 😊
You explain very well. You are easy to understand. Thank you.
Thank you for your videos, they are so helpful for me since I am a beginner.
Love your videos, but how do you make the waffle bigger
I'm currently working on this and it's beautiful.
This is my 1st time trying this pattern with you. It seemed pretty easy till I got to the end of her A1I wasn't sure what I should and on.
I look like I have a extra stitch left. I'm not ending on a Single crochet so did I miss count.
