So the lack of sunshine has to keep our vitaminD so low. Definitely affects weight. Also, you are losing real slowly now, it's going to trickle off. Permanently. 💪💪💪💪💪
Another milestone number for you measuring your commitment could be the big 280 days. We all want to see changes quickly when we change our way of eating. As other have said you need to heal first before the weight will come off and it takes time for such a huge transition, after decades of living off sugar, changing to being powered by fat and ketones. Your liver has to heal it self. Your system needs to use up the triglycerides. 280 = human gestation.
Most impressive on the no sweetness thing. Saturday, I saw a ripe fig way up at the very top of the tree, it's been weeks since I'd seen one and it's the last of the year I'd think (unseasonably warm Nov) . I haven't bought any fruit to eat in 16 months but when our own berries or figs are in season, I do eat some. I'm tall and I have to extend a 10 ft pole and whack the branch and watch it fall.....and LOST in the ivy, gone. I was sad ..... .....Sunday my wife showed there was another and so I did eat a very ripe fig. Since we are not 100 percent carnivore it's not the end of the world one fig, grown on my own trees. We are still in the stage of being 97 % better than we were three years ago. And we are eating better than we were last year and taking it in stages. It's worse now but consistently it's the mental health side of things that is my biggest threat. I'm glad there was no terrible accident with your son. Decades ago, when I was his age, I was a photographer. It wasn't my thing, but I'd driven a friend 400 miles to a racing event. We had a press pass, with back stage access and so I went to a race. I was on the infield and right by a cement protections barrier. I'd use two cameras but this that's was only 72 shots and using a motor drive. Then I moved back to where I had my gear stashed to reload film. When I was doing that there was an accident that threw two cars flipping at high speed into the infield. If I hadn't been reloading film I'd have been instantly killed.
I used to be a reckless skier too. Then I worked in a physical therapy clinic and saw what was involved in rehabbing injuries. After that I got a lot smarter in my adventuring. Five years of skiing 350 days mostly in the trees. Five years of rock climbing all over the western US. Thru-hiked the Appalachian trail through winter. Biked 3/4 way cross country solo....I've never broken a bone. If he's unsure of a career path you could point him towards rehabilitative medicine there's lots of branches of direction and it might save him some time being the patient. :)
Wow, what a story! X My Grandmother had a beautiful plum tree. Victoria plums taste incredible. Sadly the tree got knocked down in the 1987 hurricane. If she was still alive and the tree was still standing, I would still be eating them. Some things are too precious to miss! Glad you survived that motoring incident!
Morning lovely, I wouldn't bring butter tbh, it is very addictive and inflammatory. When I finally quit it, I would never touch any dairy again. You do you of course, but watch your mood in the afternoon after half day eating butter. Looking forward to your tomorrows video! ❤
I love Joyful Sarah! Here in Southern Cali my teenaged granddaughter and I are complaining about the relentless sunshine and how it just doesnt feel like Fall yet and we wish we could go get a cabin in the mountains for the holidays where its cold and dismal! We get too much sun,AND Heat, it would be nice to experience a change in seasons!
@@sueh1091 I have paused my social life for a year, on the advice of Mitch at Old Guy Carnivore. I'm not going to the Christmas party with my work, for example x
I just CANT get thdd we meat down my throat Week 3 - into week 4 Anc I just am nauseated Help !?!?!?! I want to do this but been veggie for 30 plus years
It can be hard adjusting from veggie. Have you heard Jen's story from Homesteadhow? She struggled with carnivore, so had to back off a little and build the meat up more slowly. Your gut is probably struggling to adjust. Also you might be having an oxalate dump after quitting all those toxic veggies in one go?
@ thank you for reaching out to help- I will have to make another plan as I just can’t eat more meat and do believe I probably totally throwing my whole everything into total chaos 😢I so want to heal - will look up the homestead
Happy 111 days 🌟🎉🎉🌟❤️🌹🥰
