Man this is one rifle with perfect combination, shooter, bullet, primer, and powder, and seating deep, when all comes together is a satisfaction, a group like that will make smile any face! Great job.
I’d still run the 1.948 load. That way as the barrel erodes the group doesn’t open up. I’d also load 1.951 and see if it’s tight to see if your node is wider.
That's awesome, I love watching a load come together like this! I'm glad you finally did a seating depth test. There is a few channels out there that don't seem to do there rifles justice without it. I wish you would have done this before your last match. Comparing 1.948 and 1.943 on paper at distance would be interesting. I bet there is a big difference. You said you have a wide node when you include that 1.948 OAL. Looking at the vertical location difference between the 1.948 and 1.943 groups shows that there is two different nodes there. Also, you have an SD of 7.5 which should equate to an ES of about 15, Wich is kind of big for a cartridge like the GT. In my experience Seating depth nodes are somewhere between .004 and .006 wide. I don't use SD anymore, it doesn't seem to show how big the difference is when you get to fine tuning an accurate cartridge like this. You would would have to do a seating depth test in .001 preferably to see how wide your node actually is.
Damn it man... I'd check it a thousandth under your competition load and if it still shot good even if you consider the lands moving away over time as the barrel burns out you'll never come out your node for a long time... or at least that's my understanding of how Eric Cortina explained things. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Obviously your barrel loves that load. My 26" bartlein 5r shooting 109s at 2953 matched the average of your first 2 groups. Dont recall oal, but i just started 15 thousandths off and didnt change. Havent shot in 2 years though do to re injury and surgery.
Awesome video! Question for you.. does it feel duplicative to have both the 6ARC and the 6GT? I already have the 6ARC but I am looking to re-barrel another rifle in 6 Creedmoor. Not sure if that would be a good/bad idea and maybe I should consider a different bullet diameter to have a unique experience with both.
I'm probably the wrong person to ask as I would like to have all the different 6mm rifles. The GT offers a bit more velocity than arc without pushing the cartridge to it's limits. In a bolt gun no reason not to have a dasher or GT. If I had to choose just 1 in a bolt gun it would be the GT due to the extra velocity and bigger case.
I may have missed it but do you measure from case base to tip or case base to O'Give the reason I ask is because my Berger VLD 115gr. 6mm bullets have an overall variance in length of 4k and an overall variance from base to O'Give of 2k you appear to be varying the seating depth by 5k so a 4k variance in overall length of bullet is quite a bit unless you measured all bullets to find equal lengths. just asking for my new 6mmGT
After shooting that first group I would have stopped....LO....Glad you kept going!
Nice shooting and great video!
Saying, “I think you’re good” would be an understatement.

Yes, everything working as it should. Nothing more satisfying than 6 rounds in essentially the same hole.
I’d still run the 1.948 load. That way as the barrel erodes the group doesn’t open up. I’d also load 1.951 and see if it’s tight to see if your node is wider.
Wow!!!!! That is an incredible grouping and the SD is spot on. Great shooting and reloading.
Great shooting. That combo is doing amazing.
Yeah I think I'll stick with this load. You will still see testing of other loads and combos on the channel however!
That’s going to be hard to beat for a group. 👍🏻
Congratulations Rob !!!

More testing to come this winter at longer range. SDwas 5 and I would have to look back at the data for ES.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!!
The best reloader

I may confirm 2 or 3 thou long to make sure we stay in the node. Conformation will likely take place at 500 yds.
And once the throat erosion eases him outa the node......there is always the 109gr Bergers, lol.

Outstanding 👍
Berger bullets an varget or h4350 is hard to beat that's what I run in my 6 creed. Great groups Rob
I have a good stockpile of Varget, now need to stock up on the 105gr berger. I think this is going to be a good load!
@@RobsReloading look on gun broker or mid south shooters supply both have good deals on berger bullets sometimes
Good stuff!
That is amazing
Very nice.
Frikn miracle.
the 1.9 numbers, what is that measuring??
What is you jam measurement, are you jumping the bullet .020”?

Any idea how far off of the lands your 2nd group was?
Do we know the approximate jump to the lands?? Thank you for the informative videos
26 thou from the lands on the second load

just asking for my new 6mmGT
What are your thoughts on the 6.5 Creedmore for deer.? I’m considering mine with 140 grain soft points.
I would say it's a great cartridge for deer. No personal experience, but I'm sure it would be a great round.
I have a few friends that hunt whitetail deer with 6.5 creedmore. Its a great deer hunting round.
Nice 2nd group better SD good 1st group too
Don't think it will get much better! Will be fun to confirm this load at Long range.
