Great vid! For AA we basically brought over the Third Age Reforged (TAR) entire Numenor style roster. They have amazing units in their submod, everyone should definitely check them out as well! We changed the faction color scheme to a gold black UI, strat models retextured for AA, and have also updated unit cards, trying out Coma's method via blender. Couple notes- in our submod all units are 20 percent larger than DAC (eop feature), battle ai is more aggressive, brought over the AI from EB2 for the battle config. Can't wait to see how the two location start goes
Damn, they really shafted Gimilthon by giving him darkblades. Not to diminish darkblades, they are good unit, but they are very weak compared to other elite AA units, I thinking even standard bodyguard is more useful than them. In AGO and V5 he had armour piercing steelbow and crossbow ranger custom bodyguards and was the most powerful general in AA. Also, Dorwinion, a merchant middle-men nation, having almost as powerful unit as Eregion Smiths is crazy.

Lol, I know you are trying to get the video rolling along, but you can breeze through turns, while you seige out the enemy & wait for his hammerguard to die off -- even if they bring reinforcements from elsewhere, your pikes & units would have decimated them in open field. You probably should have just ended turns a few more times until it was less of a force to take on. That only gives you more money to start with & easier to breeze through earlier campaign. (although, I guess the longer you wait, the longer the other factions have to bulk up too -- But, that sort of makes it fun too....).

Hello, my friend. Now, that's something I've never seen... Two kingdoms, aka regions, split realm! Not even one has tried this in the whole ages that I watch DaC, it's now about three or four years... You are the first and I watch all of your campaigns with great interest. Now, on the path you have chosen, I also agree that the culture is your best friend here, you surely need troops. In the East, you can easily try to get Neburkha with one cavalry general and another unit, as soon as you get a boat and your diplomat there shall be in a position to ally with Rhun. Your only enemy there is Dorwinion and you'll get stronger as soon as you get a Castle. Your spy there has to go around to see what can be seen. Though your western realm is in a more interesting position, however, as Lond Daer is in a position where you can hit till Dol Vorn and perhaps Buzra-dum, as you actually stop the advance of Enedwaith. I believe that at the time you got to Lond Daer, the Enedwaithrim faction heir was going to hit Suduri, from where he wanted to march north. So, this can be yours now, except if Bree has snatched something. As of mercenaries, they are useful in the start, up until you can easily get your own troops, that are better. For now, I find that the Saralainn mercs for the west and the Privateer mercs, both Axemen and Cavalry, and the Far Rhun mercs for the Est as your best picks, as they have a lot of good traits, though at the beginning others can also be used in a good effect, till you get your own units, which are vastly superior. I like what I see now in this mod, so good of a design of the units and the partition between the three tiers is for me one of the best in all DaC submods. Have a nice time.
@@KVINTUS7 Whoa wait, for real? I know there used to be a limit on the amount of entries you could put into the unit model file, and adding any more than that max would crash the game.

I loved doing silly things like porting units from other mods (like the Warhammer mod) into DaC just to cause chaos, but the unit limit meant I couldn't add more than a few before having to remove other units. Being able to go past that limit? An absolute _dream_
My favourite faction with one of my favourite starting regions and the super interesting approach of starting in two locations. This campaign is going to be incredible! And Dorwinion is promising to be a super interesting starting enemy. How incredible are their generals :D. Wonder what generals their other unique generals have.
nice episode, if you are nervous about when the boys in the west could lead armies, try to get man of the hour with captain led armies, alltough I think you will not get it as you currently have much more generals than provinces under your control so game thinks you are fine... :)

Im enjoying this mod so much! been playing it all weekend lots of good balance changes, different rebel armies and seems like a different ai than dacv5 base and the AA look so good now! I had the same complaint as you, their units all looked the same and it turned me off from playing them, now they look awesome and unique from unit to unit
I think you would of been better off creating a bunch of ladders instead of a tower for cair andros. You could of districted them at the gates with a couple units and the ram and then set up pikemen in the square in pikewall with archers behind them plus you would avoid the the tower fire by sitting in the square
I hope the developers can recreated new pictures models of the Two generals gimilzor and gimilthon make their human pictures faces more realistic like the human dorwinan faces : ) the developers did a great job allways must every one support them and appreciate their wonderful work wow : )
ive tried to do something simaler to you, its super hard your constantly on the defense and you basically never get a chance to expand further, i ended up quitting that campaign on turn 80. i hope you have more success than me, with the 2 kingdoms idea.
The units are really really cool but i feel like they are too overpowered imo, royal legion can solo about 10 units in a siege if you play it right. Nonetheless, excited for the series!
But they are not Umbar. The in game lore is that the Ar Ardunaim are from the ancient colonies in the south and some of the former royals and their suporters have gone south and the leader has Gondorian royal blood in him from thouse refugies from Umbar.
Just catching up! You made me laugh when you didn't know how to phrase amassing gold. Savings for war: the term is a 'war chest!' The other good term is filling the factions 'coffers'
its just third age reforged but copy pasted into Ar-Adúnaim instead of Númenor i will definetly enjoy the campaign but do not give the mod any credit for unit designs and stats it is all from Third age Reforged

@@StalwartTirith we use the eop software that was developed . Most upcoming mods will as well. This breaks the limit forever.

i would recommend allying with Gondor first if you prefer the Mordor units

Maybe you could switch the capital for a short period so you get some extra generals in the western kingdom
