Super secret tip that nobody knows In specific areas, a pop up button may appear (the button that looks like an exclamation mark (!)) This button is bery transparent but hard to see however, clicking it may reveal an easter egg about a story or an event which may help your game Example, the boat which gives you 3 choices, whether you use it to explore nearby areas or go out fishing Or the tower which lets you explore nearby areas for free Or the broken down van which have zombies inside but also a few supplies
I see that there are 2 types of popups The orange ones, very easy too see, and are straight forward Or... The gray low opacity ones (that I mentioned) which can be something about the story or can help your run. The problem with this popup is that people with ADHD or UA-camrs who focus more on their chat rather then on the game won't see it bc they're blind and I notice these when watching UA-camrs play my fav game.

If you're looking for a way to maintain your food in winter, invest heavily in livestock, more so than crops, as they can provide enough food to never have to worry about it year-round again
Except crops and veggies give you double returns. Combined with a bit of storage this can eliminate the need for livestock. I do think the best food source is plain up just the one closest to your base
Also fuel I have learn painfully about winter that can turn your fuel stocks in to zero due to increase consumption but than can depends on your population.
@@robertungsod691 Hold off on population, don't rush it. You want to upgrade your buildings first, and station your troops next to the red zones (incase of attack. Your troops get boosted in your own zone). Also, make sure to scout, ambushes debuff your troops. Once you built all you can built (water wells and storage seem to be infinite), build the next pop upgrade to the settlement
Weird. Reminds me of a TV show that used the same premise. A bunch of contestants were trying to "survive" in a disease-ravaged New Orleans, and they had to jump through all kinds of imaginary hoops to prevent themselves getting infected by a super-plague after most people died. The first few episodes had them making their own water purification tank and jerry-rigging up a wind turbine to generate power, all in the real ruins of some buildings destroyed by hurricane Katrina. I kinda liked it, despite how absurd it all was (and gross, those were real destroyed homes). Can't for the life of me remember the show's title though. My Google-fu is weak.

in the event of a wolf attack, you can actually get your fighters there to increase your chances, and instead of loosing the area, there will be a chance that they take some damage, also you will get food (the fighters eat the wolves)
Its a great first form of a game, but just liek every other game it needs updates. 1: Random map generation. Preferably tied to the difficulty. 2: Different mechanics for different foods. Maybe have deer also give you hide, which can either reduce exploration cost or make your fighters stronger, have like Sheep reduce your fuel consumption, have Grain give out food in MUCH more quantity but only once per season, Vegetables being the staple go to basic 3: Custom scenarios ofc 4: Different places for the zombies to come from 5: Actual use for Swamps, Mountains, and Cities. AFAIK, Cities are useless, while Swamps give medicine (though medicine needs a more important role) and mountains give stone. However, Stone & Medicine is RARELY required, so you can get off by just having 1 herb garden and no quarries 6; Initaitves like policing etc. 7: Emphasis on the pop ups, maybe using it to implement features too
The popups have a timer so if you click on it and you don't have the resources to make it work in that very moment then you can wait to get the resources then you can get a better outcome
Quick tip you probaly already know this but if you have two fighters and one is about to die make sure to rotate each other in and out of battle so one doesn’t die it can heal and support the other

I watched you like 8 years ago and found your Chanel again and I love the inc games and your mega brutal walkthroughs is the only reason I was able to beat the game as a kid
I can share some tips based on your gameplay: 1) you don’t need to make a choice during events straight away. Events have a timer, so you can wait a minute to get the needed resource, or move fighters. 2) I think you would benefit from exploring neighbouring areas, from which zombies can attack. Firstly, you can see them coming, and prepare, secondly there won’t be a penalty if they “suprise attack” you. 3) if your settlement main tile is empty(without fighters), press info button for it, and you will see cooldown for the current goal.
what i do is recon the area above the zombies. If you can see an area behind the zombies even if new zombies go into the fight they don't get the massive buff from coming in from a unexplore area. Getting the hidden attack trait temporally buffs the zombies by doubling the attack.
it's not that bad, i played it fully and it feels really in depth. sucks that you gotta buy the other expansions but it's also a brand new game that's somewhat similar to an alpha so i dont mind
I see people have a problem with the colours of the game, I agree with the ui, its too colourful but the colours make some sense, sorta, there are pop ups that mention that the land is beautiful but there is a issue with this, the game takes place in the UK, I think its too bright
This game looks awesome and im sure this will change when the PC verison comes out but the mobile version looks more generic than the other inc games on mobile, the font is different and the icons look like something you would see in one of those copy&paste idle games
I remember binge watching the plague inc videos when I was younger, haha. I think you might have some fun with Project Zomboid if you havent touched it before! Its a more physical strategy game but does follow the infected storyline. Fun fun!
I do love me some civilization rebuild scenerios after a zombie outbreak. I recommed you to play Rebuild, Rebuild 2, and Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville. Tbe first two are flash games and available on Newgrounds. The latter is on Steam. Plot is basically the same as in any post apocalyptic zombie game, rebuild civilization.

I don't know if you know but if you send a fighter to the wild dog attack and then chose to fight them. The chances are that you get food but also the chance the the fighter loses health but you will keep control of the area to 100 ℅.

I do love me some civilization rebuild scenerios after a zombie outbreak. I recommed you to play Rebuild, Rebuild 2, and Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville. Tbe first two are flash games and available on Newgrounds. The latter is on Steam. Plot is basically the same as in any post apocalyptic zombie game, rebuild civilization.

I don't know if you know but if you send a fighter to the wild dog attack and then chose to fight them. The chances are that you get food but also the chance the the fighter loses health but you will keep control of the area to 100 ℅.
