Nice start. While I might have preferred to see Ar-Adunaim somewhere else than in Gondor, at least they are not down in Umbar, so it will make the campaign a bit different. :)
The unique thing about Ar-Adunaim as a faction is that you can choose what difficulty you want, you can decide if you wanna settle in umbar(becoming one of the easiest campaigns). go straight and take one of Gondorian lands as your first settlement with your fleet instead of umbar (becomes little harder depending on which city you go for) or go straight into eriador taking one of the settlements in Grey Havens or in the lands between Dunland/enedwaith as your first settlement like tharbad(which will be the hardest campaign choice).
I actually disagree - I think the hardest start would be Minas Tirith, Osgiliath, ... - Tharbad and Mithlond are actually very easy and very safe starts!
@@IzzyTotalWar hmmm Yeah Maybe don’t know myself only tried taking Gondors as first settlement or Umbar when i played both times, but that was Also many updates ago. there is a risk where in the game (vanilla would also have this but at a considerably lower rate) where if you select a building and right click on the troops in the enable training of section where the game would crash randomly even after few turns but in battle it wont have any effect. but crashes in mods like DaC is to be expected tho in some areas randomly.
Hello, maybe there's might be an opportunity (both RP and in strategy), while culture is increasing in the new homeland of the AA's you could build some trash and start raiding coastal cities far from home (Umbar, Mithlond, Tharbad,...) as it would give nice bonuses of cash without consequence as these powers wouldn't be able to reach you anyways. By taking the territories of Dol Amroth you put yourself right in Harad's and Khand's, if they stay loyal to Mordor, routes for expansion meaning war with them will be inevitable. They came from the sea, a force from centuries past thought gone, aboard black ships with black sails, did report villagers and peasants on the coasts, Haradrim and Gondorian alike. They were crewed by men, but not of the colours of Gondor or Harad, they hailed from lands far to the south to Far Harad, where they stewed in their hatred, hatred of their enemy, hatred of their lot in life, hatred of how the false Gods of the Valar had treated them, hatred of the Elves, hatred of the supposed ‘Faithful’, traitors more like in their mind. But above all, hatred of the deceiver, the betrayer, who led them and their ancestors to damnation. Sauron. Yet while they hated they did not act, their numbers too small to mount an effective attack against the traitors or the betrayer, so did they wait, but waiting proved to be most difficult as the spirit of retribution burned and wailed in their souls. But finally, did their King, Ar-Gimilkhad, the truest son of Númenor, sound the call to arms. He had had a dream, wherein he stood in the burning city of as they’d learn to be Minas Tirith, and he walked up to the citadel, the courtyard of Gondorian Kings, and as he walked he watched as men, women, children were slaughtered in the streets, their homes plundered and burned, the city being razed by the Orc pestilence. He walked until finally, he reached the citadel and walked into the Palace courtyard, whereupon he saw a great white tree, like that of Númenor, burning, flames curling and constricting the noble tree like a terrible serpent. His purpose was clear, he was to save his kin, despite their sin as their repentance would come later, and keep Middle Earth from the Deceiver’s damnation, but they themselves still saw their kin as enemies, so they’d need to be put in their place. The Elves were too few, too untrustworthy and too weak, they were mere puppets and puppets of false gods would have no place in the new world order, and the Dwarves are too consumed by gold lust and self importance to sally out from their halls. So it’d fall to not them, but man, and not just man, as all men would be brought to arms but the men of Númenor, who would cast out the betrayer and bring the Valar’s house in order. So it is written, so it shall be, Númenor’s will be done!
