What's your favorite filipino dish?
Bangus! lol
hahahah!
Relyenong bangus
Sinigang! Awesome video 👏
Rebecca F thank you so much!!
I’m so happy I found your channel! I’m half filipino and I remember my grandma making all these Filipino dishes for me but after she passed my family stopped making Filipino dishes and over time they were lost. After sifting thru all the UA-cam channels, the recipes you share remind me of my grandmas recipes the most. So while she’s been gone for nearly 20 years, eating these dishes connect me to her. ❤️
sadden05 what’s your other half?
I feel you! If you are close to my place I would teach you in person. Hope you can visit my channel too. I love the videos of Phillip I am learning a lot from his channel.
Me to I’m half Filipina and grew up on only Filipino food but all my elders passed and I crave my child hood meals my kids grew up on it also my pa took care of the kids while I served in U S Amy they miss his food 🍲
I miss my old Filipino co-workers so much they made pancit (did I spell that right?) and chicken adobo and lumpia for our holiday parties I haven’t had it since (2011), can’t wait to try this recipe. Thanks for posting!
You have made me miss my mother in-laws pancit. She made hers alot like your mom's. I hope to share this with my family and think of the good old days. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks to your Mom for passing her family recipe to us! I found her way of cooking pancit to be the easiest to follow and it gave my taste buds great joy and my belly happy!🥰 thank you for sharing your mom with us! ❤️👏🏾
Great job nailing your mom down on her recipe and techniques! I'm going to make this, this afternoon! Best authentic recipe I've seen today on the UA-cam
I haven’t made Pancit in awhile but next time I do, I’m going to cook the noodles separately. Thank you for the tip! Your mom is the cutest!
I am Mexican and loved this recipe ,best noodles ever I will call it Pancita
I like your mom, she is very cute❤ just like all filipinos. I love them all!
I love your happy rapport with your mom. Clearly, it's an endearing relationship. Lovely mama! I love your mom's version of pancit! And even the Nilaga recipe. Most complete, ingredients packed recipes that make for yummy outcome. I love her cooking methods, and how clear and organized you presented your whole cooking videos. Because, you both presented this in English, you're reaching a wider audience and a younger audience. I can certainly see myself passing it along to my daughter, who like you, is raised in the western world, but continue to taste Filipino cuisine. It's a good way to present the Filipino culture to everyone. P.S. Your chocolate chip cookie video was another favorite! Thanks and wishing you continued success !
My Husband is Black and Filipino. I fell in love with the culture and the food.
Love this recipe. Glad I came across your channel. My go to cooking tutorial from now on. Simple and very easy to follow. Thanks!!!
Pancit is my favorite. And I like the way she boils the noodle first. It makes sense. Great bonding with your mom.
I lived in the Philippines many years ago, this was a favorite, along with lumpia. I've never made it on my own though so after watching your video and instructions, I'm going to attempt it. I'm also going to watch My Moms Lumpia and try that too. It does seem like a lot of steps, but I think after I make it initially, I'll find that it's not too hard. Great video, your mom is so sweet.
This is the best and easiest instructional video on how to cook pancit the right way!
Great for a beginner like myself! 👍😊
LOL your mom is so cute! I love to make Pancit with Shrimp.

I loved your recipe and your mom’s presentation. Next I’m going to try the lumpia recipe. Thanks again 🙏
Hi! I was born in the Philippines - and brought up many years in Manila - now I'm settled in the metropolis of Mumbai, India. Today I made Pancit Bihon from memory -its similar to your mom's though we dont get pork .. I'll add the Onion next time. I totally agree that I can handle the noodles only by boiling and straining them. It was so nice to see son and mom cooking which my son is now cooking with me, as our lady housekeeper and cook us in her hometown.
Great video! I started cooking the noodles separately too because sometimes I had pancit that was too wet. And it doesn’t really affect the taste I don’t think. That’s a great tip! I also love to use fish sauce in mine.
Awesome. This is one of my favorite filipino dishes. Great job. I’m going to make mine now. Yum Yum.
Had pancit and lumpia many times while visiting the Philippines in 80's and 90's. I haven't had them since. I'm making both tonight for myself. Thank you for the easy to follow recipes. Southern Ohio.
Hope you enjoy
Awesome...i love pancet...i love filipino food...this is a awesome recipe iam going to make it very soon ..love it
Thank you for a great video!
OMG...I love this; I'll make it without meat since I'm more into a plant-based lifestyle, but pancit has always been a favorite of mine growing up. Miss my Filipino dishes - but I"ll make this cuz its very easy - and I always loved noodle dishes since my grandma and my parents always made different kind of Asian dishes - always with rice or noodles as part of the side dishes...yummy!
I love this dish I hope to make it just like yours looks awesome

Your mom reminds of my friends family. I miss Filipino food. I moved away and my new home is not large on Filipino food. Your video doesn’t say how the chicken was cooked. I wanted to check as I plan to make this recipe. I love pancit.
Love this dish can’t wait to make thank y’all
Can u make beef and broccoli
I feel like eating pansit now
That looks so delicious!! Thank you for sharing with us. I love using chicken and pork in my recipes. Rice noodles are great long!! So light and yummy. Looking forward to my new daughter-in-law. She is Filipino and beautiful. Trying to find meals we can make together. It might be a little harder finding some spices needed. Limited International food items. Make sure you tell substitutions that can be used. Looking forward to many more recipes to try and enjoy eating. Shrimp dishes, chicken, pork, crabmeat and fish meals wanted. Thank you again, take care.
Oh man you should check out my Lumpia video. Shell LOVE that one for sure!
Best pinoy food
I like filipino food. Yami!
Pansit is life for Filipinos😘
Looks so good. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Could you please tell me if you cut the noodles or do you keep them intact/long? At the end it looked like they were short when you used the tongs to get it from the pot. Just wondering because I want to make it the correct way so it’s good and authentic as possible. Looks so yummy and delicious. Can’t wait to try making it.
Yum 😋
Yum
Your mom looks just like my sister....lol As a matter of fact, you look like my nephew! All 7 of us was born in Philippines but raised in Florida. I'm the only one who knows nothing about Filipino cooking LOL! But I will try this method!
I love her!
One of my favorite dish. I am definitely going to say time and buy shredded carrots and cabbage. Hell, just use a coleslaw package. I can't wait to make. My favorite China restaurant is going to be upset that I'm not paying for this 15 dollar dish anymore.
YYUUUUMMMM!

I would like to see a simple recipe of Pork or Chicken Adobe..thanks
I love your mom's long straight hair. I think I'll do the same.
First of all, I haven't tried annatto powder in my pancit; I may give it a try. They sell it in Lola's Market, if you're in the North Bay area of SF. Secondly, pancit is indeed for long life. We just celebrated my 13 yo daughter's birthday tonight while sheltering-in-place. It took 3 women to make the pancit--me, the chopper and food prep; my amiga, the main cook; my mom, the final taster and tweaker. Just like your mom, I had a hard time determining the ratio between the liquid and noodles. Ends up too moist and I get discouraged. So I had the two ladies take over cooking the pancit tonight; of course, they don't measure anything so I end up in the same quagmire. So next time, I'll do as your mom did and parboil the noodles. Thanks for the tip!
We loved your video and tried to make it. It came out really good but our noodles broke into small pieces. Is this supposed to happen or is it something we did?
