Can you tell me where you throw the remaining unused mixture if we have mixed too much? And, can I rinse with water and let the mix bottle dry to use another day, if I have E1 and E2 left? Thank you so much
If I have any left over I just keep applying it on the windows until I run out (more layers more product). No need to rinse with water, once the bottle is empty it will be fine to re-use. If you have E1 and E2 left just put the cap on and use for next time
Hi there, IGL window coating doesn't impact trim. It is different to traditional ceramic coatings in that it is completely invisible and won't leave high spots or smears but absolutely there will be no harm in taping the trims
@@BlackHawkPSUI see, the reason is that my approach in all of my work and training is to take the cautious approach. This is why I don't use rotary machines nor recommend wheel acid etc .. There will be more risk of damage to the vehicle using tape on trims (regardless of how good the quality of the tape is) than not using it for this process. There will also be a risk of the microfiber cloth picking up the adhesive from the tape and smearing all over the windows. Avoiding the trim is easiest and should it be touched a gentle wipe will be more than enough to address this issue
My personal opinion is that once the microfiber has been used to clean ceramic coatings I don't recommend using it again as it will not have the same absorption and may lead to scratching on soft paint. I know that some people soak the microfibers immediately in hot water and multi-purpose cleaner before putting them in the washing machine. The glass plus pad Can be washed with water
Great video and pro tip.
this should be the new “How To” video

A good idea would be to tape off the trim before applying the product.

Hi, could i reuse the microfibre cloth for buffing? and how to clean the glass+ sponge
