I have a 2006 one and it seems that I don't have the same display as you, it only displays me the speed limit alarm but nothing else Though the Vtec light is already ON but it doesn't seems that the rev indicator is working on mine

Paul Bradford I just went out and checked this on my 2011 1.8 ES, and the option for the iV-TEC indicator is replaced with the Eco indicator that’s there on all non Type-R models.

Hi mate. I was using Costco when it was 99 Ron but it’s now 97. So I stick to Tesco momentum which is the same I think, but cheaper. The highest Ron is 99 at shell though if that’s what your looking for.

It can be found as shown in this video. I had the 2010 model. I now own the 1.8 Executive and it's the same. As for when it kicks in, it's at the top of the rpm range. You really need to push through the revs till it hits the limiter. Such a fun thing to do! 👌🏼😃👍🏼
Nice video as always but these lights are useless to me as to my comfort drivers position blocks the speedo and lights. I still have my shift i shift lights to be fitted but couldn't find a rpm pulse to use it. If you have any of your bros who could point me in the direction of this would be well pleased. And yep tried adjusting my seat and wheel but didn't feel comfortable at all bringing the steering wheel closer doesn't feel relaxed and moving the steering wheel downwards hits my knee. Keep up the videos :)
ah man. such a common problem in these cars. finding the right position in the fn2. especially after coming from a dc5. I'm not to sure where to start with the I shift lights. but will be sure to ask and see what the boys say Jason

My 2006 Fn2 TypeR doesn't have such menu. And button displacement is different.

Before my remap, exhaust and air induction kit and all the massive wing and splitter I would get an average of 37-45mpg
never over 30mpg but depends if you plan on driving like a granny lol. I average 25 all round bro. drive it properly though haha
Never ever managed 30mpg. Always 27- 28mpg using shell v power. 25mpg with Tesco momentum
