For Becky's story: Literally ALL Colleen had to do was publicly or at least privately apologize and say something like "Omg I'm so sorry I never meant to make you feel uncomfortable or give you years of processing that traumatic event." Because if she felt badly or didn't mean to then she would say that. But she doesn't care. She's not sorry.

I’m a woman who was drugged at r**** at the age of 19 by a 32 year old man. He was the friend of a friend who I trusted, so I trusted their judgement in inviting him to my home. Sadly, my judgement was misplaced…
This was over a decade ago at this point, and I am still totally f****** up by it. So much time was/is spent like these people feeling guilt and shame and anger and fear and trying to shoulder blame because our shame makes us feel like that’s what we should do.
It’s something that truly and deeply impacts your life for years and years and years by making you feel insecure and afraid in pretty much every aspect of your life. I don’t think people get that. It impacts EVERYTHING you experience from then on out because you are wholly changed as a person.
My heart goes out to these people and anyone else who has experienced assault, grooming, abuses of power, etc. I don’t wish what I’ve been through on my worst enemy.
To any victims (of anyone) out there - You are strong. You are NOT to blame. YOU ARE WORTHY OF HAPPINESS. Don’t be afraid. Don’t doubt yourself. Don’t let evil people keep taking from you!! Go and live and experience your life. Do not allow them to continue to take your power!! Take your control back. Don’t let your shame eat you alive. I BELIEVE IN YOU. It is a long and scary road, but you’ve already been through the worst of it. Keep going. I cannot reiterate this enough, you deserve to be happy. You are worthy. Never be ashamed to seek professional help. You are loved and you are worthy of it. Don’t you EVER forget that.

@wateryourcermet really powerful words; well said. My experience with unwanted intimate contact was very fleeting (amounting to pinching in uncomfortable areas and similar), but they're still moments I distinctly remember even years later. I can't believe what it must be like to live past such an experience as Becky's, where you're compromised and sexualised before an entire audience, and then having to fight tooth and nail just to be taken seriously because your abuser has made it their absolute goal to minimise what they did and weaponise their power against you.
At least I had the luxury of never contacting the people who wronged me again without the fear that they'll suddenly throw a proverbial spanner in the works down the road.

    • @monroeglam
      @monroeglam Рік тому +1

I don't think they're blaming themselves, I see it as they are explaining the circumstances which lead to themselves being open to the abuse and it shouldn't be seen as blame because it wasn't their fault and I don't see it that way at all. Also, I think their responses are appropriate given the circumstances, being upset... embarrassed or angry about the situation is appropriate or else everyone would be like Johnny, fake and smiling the whole time over something traumatic. It wouldn't be seen as something to take too seriously if they'd respond any other way. If anything, your comment insinuates they are suffering, weak and full of self blame and I don't see the victims in this case like that. If anything they're being brave and vulnerable by sharing their story to create more awareness.

She's absolutely a total garbage human who doesn't deserve the pedestal she's been on for over a decade, and I hope CB will feel even at least 10% of the humiliation and pain she's caused countless others... furthermore I hope that her ex-husband is a better person & that wherever her 3 beautiful children are raised, that it's somewhere safe and healthy, and that if/when they do find out about allllllllll these things that are coming out about their mother on the internet, that they're in a good place mentally and are able to handle it in healthy and not detrimental ways... ❤

I actually saw an episode or 2 of her show on netflix, but immediately i felt like i was the butt of all her jokes (im disabled and neurodivergent) and then when she "joked" about the uncle i noped out so damn fast. A day after watching SWOOP’s video on Johnny and how he seemingly lied about almost everything he said and his part in all of this.. is very eye opening to how body language analysis can not be used to tell the truth in REALLY good and practiced liars. /:
    EDIT:
Just to add that my comment is in no way, shape, or form intended to be an insult to anyone, esp the creator of this page who is very clearly knowledgeable, respectful, and fantastic at explaining his area of expertise! It was also not intended to be a way of discrediting body language analysis in any way, either. I just believe that Johnny came up with these lies in order to both deflect his part in this entire situation where he has been proven to be as involved in minor group chats as well as place himself in the spotlight for more attention. It seems, to me, that he actually believes these lies he’s telling. I know how the internet can be so pls don’t come at me for my take on all of this! ❤

I agree but I also think an important thing to note is observe did pick up on the behaviors but saw it in the light of an actual victim which I definitely think is an issue with body language. It is especially hard with this situation because who would think he is lying (at this time). You’re so right, body analysis and context can be messy and really relies on the situation/prior knowledge of what’s going on. I guess that is dirt if the issue you pointed out
Also this was the first video where Johnny ‘spoke out’ so there wasn’t too much of an original base line so it wouldn’t be super easy to pick up his tells.

I can totally understand lack of forethought and all that, but even if Colleen's intentions weren't to be creepy, it doesn't change the fact that she used the power she had in her situation to take advantage of people (namely minors). In your first video I was wondering "hmm as a young person, if I was in Colleen's position, would I have had enough maturity to realize that the things she was doing was wrong? After all, it's easy to be blind sighted when you're having fun." But even the first story in this video is just straight up creepy? I get that the Miranda character is supposed to be weird and quirky and all that, and I get that what was acceptable humor at the time was different, but letting any girl (or even woman) go up on stage and forcibly spreading her legs while making fun of her (without asking for any consent for the sake of a skit) is more than lack of forethought and rather a reflection of morals.
To completely juxtapose Colleen's actions, a kpop artist Jackson Wang (I'm not even a fan, but I saw some clips of his concerts) specifically asked fans if they were over 18, ok with going on stage, AND if they were single before bringing them on stage to dance a somewhat erotic (but still appropriate) dance in front of them. He did that all in the heat of the moment in the middle of his concert. Most of the time, youtuber giveaways or any giveaway at all require you to be at least 18 or to have guardian consent. Colleen's actions weren't immature and dumb like she said, but they were more so abusive and predatory. Even if it wasn't her intention, that's straight up what it was, and I wouldn't consider any apology she makes genuine unless she acknowledges that.

Underage 2. A Fan who thinks this IS a life-changing opportunity and 34:41 as it should feel that way because this particular influencer - Colleen - that was one of many of her whole manipulation tactics (Love-Bombing the abused while enabling her own and others on her inside team's behavior towards 3. A minor or minors. This part has had me outraged with her entire content for years. I will touch on that now.
So, IMHO, she shouldn't be coming forward now with her little ukulele song, a "So-called Apology", which is not an apology at all; instead, it's discrediting her actions and behavior towards people like these two victims, along with Adam McEntire, trying to make sure that anyone and everyone waiting for an apology, or response period, basically just got a smack in the face with her song (🎵 Manipulation Gossip Train 🎵). 34:41
As a mother, I wouldn't allow my 13-year-old daughter to watch her, because the video my daughter was watching at first made me think that this Miranda Sings persona was not a PG-13 type of channel, and instead it was making fun of someone with a speech impediment, (bullying) and very inappropriate things being said to the audience, being a child of any age. I asked my daughter, "What is this video about?" Abd she answered "Mama, it's Miranda Sings, and she's not singing. She's sucking on a hotdog with ketchup and laughing about it. " I was to the least disgusted at this video, and my daughter asked me why she would be doing that at all with hotdogs, dangling it, and laughingly explaining " how much she liked ketchup on her wieners", (Colleen's words) , and how much she "loved ketchup" or why she was laughing about it. At 13, my daughter was not aware of sexual enuendos or oral sex. As a matter of fact, my daughters face said it all. My poor daughter was red in the face and looking down instead of steadily looking at me because of how this one video made her feel. At this point, I told her that there was no reason for her to feel the need ro look away, as she could talk to me about anything, and that I wasn't mad at her and she wasn't in trouble for watching this video. My daughter asked if the videos were supposed to truly be for children, and I told her that even though she wasn't a small child, this type of content couldn't possibly be made or meant for A CHILD OF ANY AGE. My daughter told me that it had made her uncomfortable and confused, and I made sure my daughter never watched her again. My daughter is grown into a young woman now, and I'm a grandmother. I haven't spoken with my daughter about this situation lately, as she has a 5 year old and a 2 year old (both girls) other than the fact that back in 2020 when the apology from Colleen was put out on UA-cam, discrediting Adam, even at that age, 3 years ago, my daughter sent me the link to a reaction video of Adam and Colleen's videos, and she told me "Mama as a mother myself, I knew something like this would end up happening that day I stopped watching her".
I thank God that my daughter knew at a young age that women could be and have predatory and inappropriate behavior, and decided on her own to not watch this woman's channels and content. I had to have many talks with my daughter once she watched that video. She got bullied by her "friends" at school because of not supporting Miranda Sings by watching her channel anymore. This congjniedfir over 2 years. I switched my daughters' schools, and she ended up winning a full ride nursing scholarship from writing an essay on a true story, what she had gone through by being bullied and learning how much it was important for students not to bully one another. She also touched on psychological effects from bullying and how she wanted to be able to help people who had been bullied or were being bullied because she had experience, and it was ne er okay. She included statistics of suicide attempts and actual attempts that were final. Once she read all of this and my happy mom heart cried, I realized that as a sophomore, my daughter was incredibly smart, and I had done a great job raising her and teaching ber the difference between right and wrong. In her senior year, we got an invitation to an event where my daughter was to give a speech for an essay she had written, at a huge banquet, and we had no idea which essay or what year the essay was given, and my daughter was nervous about it. We found out when we went that it was for the anti-bullying essay that resulted from this horrendous experience in her life. My daughter won first place, and it was very hard for her to read the same essay in a room of thousands of people in Montgomery, Alabama, including the governor. I was there for her. She won first place and I couldn't have been happier.
My question is, why would a parent allow their children to watch this character? Engage with her online in private messages and group chats? Most importantly, Colleen's Ballinger, if she was a male, with all these allegations, she would already be processed in the system. How can we, as a people, as parents, agree that what she has done is right? Nothing that she has done has been appropriate or PG-13. She has traumatized many people, and there are so many victims. This has to be stopped. She shouldn't be on tour. Her ukulele song is discrediting victims who have been traumatized and manipulated and groomed. We all need to deplatform her and keep the same energy as if she were a male. Instead, we still have mothers bringing their children to be humiliated and scarred for life by this monster. This woman is dangerous. She truly thinks she is innocent.
Sorry for the long comment, I just had to say what I had to say, and most importantly, say thank you for being the voice of non-verbal communication and just speaking out on this. Many UA-cam took WEEKS to make videos or speak out regarding her disgusting and inappropriate behavior.
I love your content. Please don't ever stop what you are doing. You make things so much easier to understand, and you teach us as an audience. I was one of your first supporters, and I will ve always.

@@witchypeoniflorallungs3044 as a child she was mean to the family dog and the dog bit her in the face as defense, Miranda had to go to the hospital and lied to her mom and said "I wasn't doing anything the dog just suddenly bit me" and the hospital said that they have to put down the dog. dog got put down because miranda lied so basically she killed a dog.
don't know anything about a cat tho.

She filmed someone else's cat that had been hit by a car I believe, and I think that's how the owner found out. Also she trapped her cat in a brown paper bag for some reason.

    • @dandelion_official4812
      @dandelion_official4812 Рік тому +2

She made a 'hatchimole' by trapping a cat in a paper bag and waiting for it to chew it's way out. She also filmed a dead cat whose 'missing' poster she'd seen and was laughing about it. And just generally enjoyed ignoring very clear signals from her cats that they were uncomfortable in order to make content. I think that's the main ones...

Performative everything actually was and understandably is hurt by it.

The cuts aren’t really cuts, the way the video is recorded is that she presses the record button and then stops whenever she wants and then continues whenever she wants. She didn’t film a whole thing and then edit our parts

This woman sounds like a piece. Its disgusting how she encouraged minors to dress inappropriately for the amusement of the masses. It saddens me to hear Johnny's experience and how he was treated as an employee. Tells a lot about this woman. She has no business being around minors if she is going to behave this way around them and exploit them. I think as a society right now we have too much of this bully worship. It's everywhere in the media and in the schools and it's really sad how no one stands up for the person wronged by these bullies. I really appreciate Johnny's message at the end about loving yourself and your family more. Its people like this that is what is so wrong with society. Anyways as always another great video.

She performs her address in song / spoken word and plays ukulele.🤦🏽‍♀️ I thought to myself, “did she use this approach in an attempt to thwart the scrutiny of Observe?”🙃 In any case, it is convoluted. DARVO woven throughout as well.

With the guy in the 2nd video, I will note, I'm neurodivergent, autistic and have adhd and with processing and using filler words as well as fidgeting, I do a craapton of that to help regulate my own nervousness and anxiety, he honestly could be stimming.
Idk if hes neurodivergent or not but a lot of his behaviors honestly seem similar to mine in any given conversation i have with people especially ones where im anxious, having trouble focusing or just feeling a lot more vulnerable than usual.
I wonder if there is a way to discern who might be neurodivergent and not before going into body language reads, i imagine i come off like a shady sociopath if someone was to try and do a read on me just based off of body language, for how much i fidget and avoid eye contact alone.
High functioning autistics do exist but unfortunately we're often swept under the rug or even devlaued and told by neurotypicals that we're faking it when we are doing our best to meet their own energy at our own cost.
His fidgeting looks a lot like stimming to me and the "umms" remind me of issues and delays with processing, as well as the repeated words. He may just be overstimulated or having anxiety while recording the video.
But that was just an after thought after seeing his behavior on the video.
