Cities Skylines let's play gameplay today building medieval tourist town to rip off tourists and increase the tourism profits in our city. We'll build a new harbor area for cruise ships to enter our city too, and hopefully not flood our city with poop.

Thats the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany. I visited there when I was in Germany. It's pretty massive in person. There's a hotel next to the gazebo on the right where I stayed. Worth a visti.

As a european, it feels so strange to hear him talk about (what for us is) everyday buildings like they are something exotic.
As an American, those building are very exotic. Architecture is very bland in most of the country.

That's what they deserve.. I once tried for the "perfect city" with unlimited mods enabled. Everything was free, no tax, no crime nothing. And they still found something to complain about. Me? I deleted the god damn city. But they were lucky, one time my friend got so pissed, he drowned the city in their own shit.. It was pure madness.
I feel like Kibitz could create an incredibly profitable prison in Prison Architect.

The Castle of Lord Chirpwick is literally Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria.
Which also was the project of a ... well highly ambitous and extravagant king, who emptied the Bavarian treasure chest to build his fantasy palace.
Was that king called Kibitz?

If You add the "Find It" Mod you can add new ship paths u just search ship path and boom there u go hope this helps!
What the developers need to do is make it so high density commercial zones have residents on the floors above the stores in real life.

11:14 all these buildings are actually taken from Cities in Motion, the debut project of the studio that later made C:Skylines. Nice touch. Actually, a lot of other buildings and assets were taken from there
P.S. I couldn't even imagine tourism can bring so much money in Skylines. I've always ignored that
The Castle is a Real one. Its in the "Allgäu" in Germany and is Called "Schloss Neuschwanstein". It was built by a Crazy Bavarian King called "König Ludwig XIV."

There is a MOD that allows you to add new shipping lanes as well as Airline paths
Watched the stream, just waiting to see how Kibz includes "harbor frustration". 👀
You could had just pulled one of the nodes that already aligned with your harbor, place the buildings and pull the node back to it's original position. The shipps would still move streight out and the industrial rout would be unafected.

I wonder if you could fit all the other unique buildings in the district. And you’ll need all 3 types of parks (if you aren’t planning on that already). And maybe expand your airport and make a direct subway link only to the tourist district.

That castle exists in real life. It's located in Germnay, and is called Neuschwanstein Castle. It actually inspired Disney to make his "fairytale castle".

The castle is Neuschwanstein, where Ludwig II and probably Kaiser Wilhelm II, the grandson of Queen Victoria

Bro, right there at 5:30 in that menu allows you to add more "roads" for the ships to go to. It's on the very right, the one with a boat and a road looking thing behind it. you didn't need to even spend 2 hours looking for the move it mod to more the already placed lanes for ship.

I typically don't watch modded cities players aside from biffa but I'm glad I clicked on this and didn't click away after seeing custom assets cause your build style is very interesting and some of the unique choices you've made can be replicated in vanilla

You can smoothen terain so you can build road smoothly using the slope tool yes the one you dont use so just right click the height you want the road end up to then left click the height the road is curently on then just left click drag from the bottom to the top it makes me happy cuz im an OCD

You can just add another branch to the ship line from Find It network, and the cargo ship will not come near the harbors. MOD:

Just for lolz it would be great if you separated tourist town trap from the rest of the city with Berlin Wall like infrastructure (ie: double fence with a road in between and floodlights covering every inch of the double fence sandwich). Cool stuff!

It's like China replicating European buildings and whole villages in China. It all looks European, but doesn't quite feels like it. And it also dosn't fit together.
