The first time I was going to Africa, I was shocked to see the plane was around 90% White, 10% Black. So, they did a good job presenting Africa on a bad image to the Blacks in the West, in the mid time, they kep going over there exploiting everyting, for vacation and live there.
It's our duty as a people to showcase our selves they have an an agenda to make us feel inferior It's slavery in a covert manner

I believe that we have to appreciate good things and try to create good things too. There's no reason to criticise others here. Instead other African countries should take a cue from Rwanda when it comes to cleanliness and security. Cleanliness mirrors the mindset and attitude of the people. I am fortune to visit more than 20 countries across the globe, poor and rich countries. So, I do appreciate countries where the people do care about their environment and know how to beautify their country. They got rewarded through tourism. So, it's a good thing to reward the Rwandese people for the effort they made in bringing their country to where it's now after the troubles they went through in the past as a nation. I take my hat off to them. Good work good reward!
Africa does have a lot of potential, it's only left for the people to harness all the abundant of natural and human resources. Haven is right on earth if we work hard for it. And we don't need to be envious nor bitter.
To keep it real the quality of the homes in Africa and the Caribbean or built much better than the USA for the money you are paying.

It's crazy how Kibagabaga has grown, last time I was back home it was a slum. Now it's a beautiful suburb of Kigali. Back then nice houses were in places like Kiyovu, Remera, Kacyiru and Kimihurura. Nyarutarama was just getting started.

For those who don't know, French used to be the official language of Rwanda.
It Kagame that converted Rwanda to an English speaking country. He did that because of the role the French government played in Rwandan genocide.
I think this explains why most Rwandese still with speaking English language.
That is not the main reason why Rwanda switched to english wo/man its just because Rwanda is in East Africa community and most of the countries in EAC like Uganda, kenya are english speaking countries.

Yeah for example the house you are renting $1k monthly you may buy it like $20k or 35k it depends, !! & I guess it is very cheap than renting house for more than five years !! But of course cz you are still new in the country you can rent for while then letter you can make decision 👌👌👌 good luck

Waaaooo Rwanda has come far away. A former Belgium colony who used to speak French. After the tragic incident the current government had imposed English language nationwide in show period of time ppl speak perfect English.I really love how that country have come from 0 to 100 really quick. Great place, safe neighborhood, the views are to die for, and that stair work is something else. Actually, if this was in Kampala or Dar el Salam or Nairobi, they would have requested more than $2k a month. That said, it is always best to buy as soon as possible instead of paying such high rent.
2K rent in kampala or Nairobi makes sense but in kigali for this house, it is way to much! Housing market went down since few years ago.... a lot of house on rental market drove the price down....$1000 is good enough for this house!
