    Thank you so much for these videos... I can't express in words the happiness I feel when I watch your videos, especially in this moment during the pandemic. I am from Brazil, the pandemic is still hard here and had taken more than 120K lives. I had lost some friends, I am dealing with my depression and Brazil is still one of the worst countries to be black. Your videos give me hope to go to Africa and finally be free!

    Lovely. This appartment looks apart and very modern. The prices are amazingly good deals and are reasonable. Go to Nigeria, and you'll get this apartment for a ridiculously and exorbitantly whopping $600,000, or even $1m like it's a joke. Africans have to understand that selling properties at a reasonable price especially to Africans only promotes economic growth, solidarity, trust and care and weeds out social and economic exploiters that would only corrupt the environment. It helps to remove bad actors and balances the social and economic environment. I might buy one of these apartments in Nyarutarama in a few months time. I love the design of the whole apartment complex.

    • @sylviasworld9397
      @sylviasworld9397 3 роки тому +7

      That's a generalisation . Nigeria is made of 36 different states plus the capital, prices in the different states of Nigeria vary actually. I think the rental prices they've shown in Kigali is way more than the equivalent in Abuja, the capital, for example. 120, 000 Dollars will get you a house, all ensuite with house staff quarters included.

    • @nightnyungwe5945
      @nightnyungwe5945 3 роки тому +8

      "Go to Nigeria" and "Africans have to understand." You speak of and about Africa and Africans in the language of imperialists. It matters which part of Nigeria you are discussing. Lagos for example, is a city of 21 million people living on limited land. Of course real estate prices will be vastly higher in Lagos than those of Kigali. Africans, of whichever country, know their value and understand the complexities of the markets in which they are operating. Would it be fair for one to use New York City real estate prices as the bench mark for all of the United States, rural, urban, suburban etc.?

    • @sylviasworld9397
      @sylviasworld9397 3 роки тому +1

      @@nightnyungwe5945 there are really nice houses in Lagos for way less.

    • @kudrah
      @kudrah 3 роки тому

      @@nightnyungwe5945 I have a huge sentiment over inflation of house prices because i live in london and i can see the negative results of creating such an atmosphere. Many owners and agencies treat money obtained from letting out a property as a trade game and race over prices per location without taking into account the value of the house as per quality. So the result ends up with the house not reflecting its price where the space is very limited but goes for the amount five times its worth. The price dramatically plummets to the actual worth of the house in a crisis situation like a pendamic when renters could nolonger afford the premises. This is when one realises how wrong this kind of mentality for valuing house prices is. My supposition is that house prices can be kept at a reasonable price even if the population is to grow - it is the regulator's responsibility to ensure that the incoming population is sparsed to allow for an even and balanced growth and to maintain reasonable house prices, not by exorbitantly increasing them which, creates a lot of social inequalities. This careless increasing also drains compassion from the people that they stop to care for each other and instead, only care about making money. This damages the community and also damages the economy. Some temporarilly lose that innate human quality of caring and love and dependence for other humans because the transgressor only sees through the money lense, all they care about is profits and they're quick to jump onto the next extortionate and exaggerated opportunity.

      @@sylviasworld9397 that goes without saying. The point is that if you compare upmarket Kigali to upmarket in Lagos State, the latter will cost more. How much will it cost to live in a luxury apartment in Lekki?

    Beautiful buildings, beautiful city, beautiful people of Rwanda. Nice and clear video.
    I’m glad Rwanda drives on the right side of the right side of the road.
    Driving in Rwanda would be much easier for many drivers coming from the West. Also much easier for drivers coming from West, Central & North Africa.
    It is sometimes difficult changing over from driving on the right side of the side to driving on the left side of road as commonly seen in Eastern and Southern African countries (mostly former British colonies).
    I hope the AU (African Union) comes up with a uniformed driving (right or left) road side standard for all African countries:
    Such African continental driving road side standard will help ease driving from one African country to another. It will also help ease continental commerce in transport: trucking and moving or hauling goods among different African countries across borders.

      kagorozi joseph 😂😂😂😂 ...and I’m negative!? thanks for the advice...lemme return the favour... chill ... it ain’t that deep... I actually expect the best for Africans because I am one ....I LOVE Rwanda and that’s why I’m here ... we only get better if we take in ALL opinions.... and we need to start thinking critically about how we build ....you don’t have to agree... but don’t make assumptions... I said what I said ...

    • @licorice71
      @licorice71 3 роки тому +1

      @kagorozi joseph still going with the assumptions ...it doesn't matter how much the owner spent . The market will decide whether those prices are tenable... personally $1500.in kigali in this the year of our lord 2020 dont make sense..and jackson was smart enough to know that.... thats why he always adds..'its negotiable and by the way evictions are not exclusive to the US...it is happening right now where you are... so let's take a chill pill , get out of our feelings and enjoy these beautiful videos and comment even if the comments will get some dudes all bent out of shape...its allowed...no one will die..

      @kagorozi josephI know school is out due to Covid in a lot of places. But, try your best to comprehend what I am saying, OK. First, dissapproving of the rent of one apartment, that has a kitchenette for kitchen doesn't make me negative or pessimistic toward Africans, smh. I just rather pay $1500 a month for a house or apartment with a larger kitchen.
      I Love Africans I am African living in the diaspora. Rwanda is a beautiful country with beautiful homes and apartments. I will visit someday. Plus, I am far, very far from being broke. No we dont have HOA but we have public fee that every citizen pays. E.g security 3000rwf, cleaning fees 5000rwf usually it doesnt exceed 10Usd . But such high end places usually dont pay, maybe part of the payment

      Not totally sure but it is some Rwandese who own this apartment and the penthouse. There are a lot of Rwandese who have 💰

    I think 120k for an apartment in Rwanda or anywhere in Africa is alittle too much. We should not be comparing US house market rates to African market rates if we are going to lure in the diaspora.

      Many of you think the law of supply and demand is suspended just because the property is in Africa. The fact is the middle class in Africa is growing as well as our economies and this creates an increased demand which raises prices. What you are witnessing is an economic boom with a lot of opportunities which is creating a lot of millionaires and wealthy African elite. Unfortunately many of you weren't shown the early part of the economic boom in the western media where you could have enjoyed lower prices. This is why the time to invest in Africa is NOW.

      @Rick Can't Trade I doubt if the African elite are ready for an apartment setting. That's more of a western middle class standard. Listen, I have lived in the west for over 25 years and i'm not coming back to the motherland to sleep in an apartment. Give me a mansion or something...👌

    • @rotail4873
      @rotail4873 3 роки тому +3

      @Rick Can't Trade I don't think most Africans want to buy an apartment for that much if they can spend the same amount or less to build a mansion. So the only group left is the diasporans and i don't think most of them are coming to live permanently.

      @@afroman6172 As a numbers guy, it's not helpful to keep the prices that high when demand is low.The fact that the prices are so high indicates that the demand of these units is very low because demand and supply tend to naturally run opposite courses.

      @@rotail4873 If prices are high then the lack of demand will bring them down. High prices isn't due to low demand but rather high demand. The fact that homes, at the higher end of the market, keep being built is a sign that there is a demand for such homes. There are cheaper homes in Rwanda and Africa, there is no compulsion to buy the more expensive ones
