Great video, great information; but i have some 3 highlights as a local: 1- Food in Rwanda is actually great once you know where to find the best of what you like at the prices you can afford. 2- Man if you earn $1k a month, you can live a chill life in Kigali especially if you live in a detached house, most decent people in Rwanda earn less than $500 a month. 3- Moto taxi is more expensive than buses, buses are the cheapest and will take you around Kigali, Moto bikes only have one advantage(they're fast).
I was wondering abut the food, too! Wherever I have travelled in my life, local food has ALWAYS been better than what was available in the UK. You just need to know where to get it!
Food in Rwanda is much poorer than in UK, except for the price. I live in London and visit Rwanda regularly, as that is my origin. Rwanda needs to do a lot more in food and service.
I love this video I also am looking to relocate to Kigali ,Rwanda from Georgia in about 2 years just building up my finances and it's my soon to be dream permanent travel.

I completely disagree with you concerning the quality of rwandan food..due to it being "mostly" organic,it is automatically better than the food in the west. I have visited Rwanda a couple of times btw
Rwandan meat generally doesn't meet international quality standards. Little attention is paid to the age of the animal at slaughter, stress levels at slaughter, or even the cuts of meat being used. Local meat is tough and tasteless and almost never used at the best hotels, who tend to prefer importing from South Africa.
@@WillieFungo I Agee I live in kigali standard of meet it’s very low compared to the western and I understand why is because the breading animal system and meat processing cleaning and cutting is not there yet
I am not sure if Down town Kigali is part of Kiyovu. I think Kiyovu is that Marriot, Ubumwe, Cathedrale St Michel part. The downtown part (bus station, CHIC, La galette) it's most likely to be Muhima or just ''mu mujyi'' (town) how we usually call it. great content though.
