Who is ready to move to Kigali, Rwanda? Thank you for doing the house tours.
Me too! I love their PRESIDENT!!
I wouldn't go to a country where the government is corrupt!!!
I'm getting ready but Rwanda has lost it's appeal for me. I saw a video where it shows how seniors are not too respected, as well as children. Have you heard anything like that.
@@RobertSpiller If by seniors you mean elderly, then you're wrong i think. In most African countries, an elderly person is viewed with respect however little experience they may have.
@@RobertSpiller Mr. Spiller, I would be cautious to make a decision based on the video. Seniors in Rwanda are highly respected! I am happy to arrange a chat with some seniors in Rwanda. You can ask them yourself.
@@RobertSpiller Thats news to me. All elderly people I know of are respected, in fact, pampered by their families.
That’s an easy 2 to 3 mil here in ATL. We can live like kings and queens in our own land. We just need to go back home.
Home? That is a place in the mind. Look at Liberia. Where white people sent the greed slaves. The greed slaves did not share a culture with the people there, and the tribalism created a disconnect that still shows in economics and politics now.
Every nation of Africa is so very different. Every tribe of agarics is so very different.
So there must be a process of education, invitation and acceptance.
I think colonizers left a mark. A fish born in deep water never knows it’s wet. Colonizers dipped every land they touch with a color coded fiction of race, and an economic system that can only leave poverty.
Home? Wherever found can not exist in that “deep wAter”.
So when I come to Africa it will be to focus on community not wealth. I will not be served fine dinners at a window to watch poverty in the street. I will not build businesses where my employees are like servants instead of friends and family working together.
When collectively we shed that colonizer mentality we thrive, and wear we are matters second to how we are between us.
Cultural literacy and respect
Not westernized condescension and power business moves.
I hope that I will choose a country and customs that are offered to me, as I am adopted into my African homeland. I hope that my efforts are worthwhile and that I am seen as respectable.
This is important. Remember the Pilgrams fled their own homeland. They were running from their own oppressive ways, which the later imposed on us in slavery and than extreme capitalism.
Colonizers have clearly proven that that “deep water” remains foul.
@@diversitylove5460 DEEEEEEEP! Well said bro/sis!!

Rwanda is extremely beautiful. The cleanest country in the world. And Kagame surely is the leader of this century!
Beautiful home every room has his own bathroom that's cool . Thanks for showing people how beautiful Rwanda is. Western media says they don't have cars houses foods in Africa people sleeping in trees lol .
@JOSEPH DICK LOUW hahahah I know right even in 2020 . There are cars everywhere food is the cheapest thing in Africa. I always ask them if those people can't eat how they living in Africa lol no want can answer.

When I notice Rwandans struggling with English, I remember that they actually used to speak French instead, and that it is only after the French-supported GENOCIDE in the 90s that they cut ties with the French and adopted English as Official Language. They are doing fine in that respect.
Thanks for educating us!
The guy speaks well, even better than some other africans from English speaking countries, I think
Hi my peeps, Love Rwanda and happy to see it growing. From Ethiopia
My jaw DROPPED seeing that price! Rwanda I'm on my way! Lol
Rwanda houses are amazing, well built

Jackson outdid himself today!! That house is gorgeous and affordable. When he said US $175,000, I almost collapsed. For the size and quality, that’s a steal. Thumbs way up!!
🤣💯
True, like you said before, that's the Africa people don't get to see, let guys be enlightened enough not to think that it's all about wildlife and jungle's only.

Alright.... Rwanda put the States to shame with that house. 175000 wow. It's beautiful. Find out about property taxes. Please do a video about transportation like cabs, bus.
Now imagine if you just rent a place for 3months and build your own you can buy a land here in kigali and built that same house with 100 to 110k, i have seen ppl i kkow make some saving in doing that i myself i will do that kind of bsness soon, and about cabs; we have an affordable cabs company like uber named Move that's assembles and make new Volkswagen cars then rent and do the taxi service plus individuals cabs, about taxes we pay once a year and it can't go above 100usd and less a year depending on where you chose to live,
@@douglasmubirigi4414 are property taxes included?
@@lonnirenee7645 yes
@@douglasmubirigi4414 at Kibagabaga you can't. The land only is for 40k $. The material is at higher standing
@@lonnirenee7645 property taxes in Rwanda are reasonable when it is your first residential house. The value of the house do not count. Instead, the size of the plot is taxed between 0 and 0.3$ per square meter depending on the place and once a year. It is not really heavy for a normal citizen who has his/her job. Has'nt he/she?
We just hustling out here we going back home y'all
I’m a new subscriber and I love the house tours, these houses are beautiful in Rawanda.. and I always wanted to visit Ghana now I have to visit Ghana and Rawanda .. and the prices for the houses are great.. The United Snakes of America have been robbing us..
Oh!! boy, that's Africa. We live in houses at least.
Thanx y’all. Excellent vids. I’m impressed with the homes and the prices are amazing. I live in NYC, no such thing as prices like this for a studio. I’m selling here to move here
Thank you for sharing your experience and the beauty of Rwanda!
My beautiful family you deserve that house and the price is not that bad i bought a house hear in state @$275000 n it's not good like that one Rwanda is my home am coming back by next year
💯
I beleive the advantage over there is that you can easily lease and pay over in 20 to 25 but here you'll need to buy cash or built and in that case its more and way cheaper than buying

Many arteries like that in kigali are priorities for pavements, asphalt you name it
Wow another amazing house with fair price. And I love the quality of your videos images.
That is so reasonable for the 5 bedroom wow. Beautiful family. love traveling with you.
💯
Crime rate is very very low, cause Rwandans love and respect there country and cops will not shot you.
The reason why the price is 175000$ not 2M$ like maybe many of you were expecting is bcoz they just try to comply with prices that Rwandans too can afford to pay so being 2M it may look like a burden to locals while they need to live in such good houses too
The land is still cheap. But the price is growing year after year.
Wow! What's there not to love about this gorgeous house. And the master suite is unbelievable.
Love jackson and your content
Love the fact that most of the bedrooms have balconies. The master bedroom with that huge closet, that's the closet that I need. The kitchen with all that storage space is wonderful. The only thing I did not like was the back of the house.

175, 000 USD??? Are you kidding me?? Houses in Rwanda are very cheap. I lived in the States for 30 years and am now back home in Ghana. Houses of this magnitude in Accra, the capital of Ghana will cost around $300,000 or more. It seems to me that Ghana is more expensive than Rwanda.

Ok but have your business plans ready when you move. Anyone moving to Africa, whatever country, needs to have a business plan. Dont move to Africa looking for a job.
Definitely want to see those plots!
I OWN some plots myself that if i cant built houses like these and sell then ill sell them sometimes not long.

Ok. I see it’s definitely better to buy than rent. That’s a great price.

We have houses and houses LOL.
Houses look like embassies and courthouses wow
When Rwanda reaches her peak, this would be like a steal for whoever buys it.
Thx u for sharing this content :) I wish u hapyness in the mother land :) for those who don't know rwanda you have to know that' thoses houses are absolutely unaffordable for 99pct of rwandese as it is for this lifestyle.
@ uj waba - I am not from Rwanda or even African, but I was thinking the same thing, if the average person from Rwanda can afford these homes. How much money does the average Rwandese make? Is there a minimum wage there, like we have here in the USA? Do you have homeless people there, and if you do, does the government provide free housing and food for them? If you lose your job, do you have unemployment? If you cannot work, are there government programs that can help you? Americans need answers to these questions first before they get too enthusiastic and move over there only to find themselves homeless.
@@loveandpeace3545 for foreigners I'm not sure about the job thing but citizens in Rwanda that can't afford to get themselves a living the government does feed them and also creates for them some small income jobs to do and they also have microfinance institutions that small income earners can use when in need of banking services like saving, loans, etc so they don't have to worry that much as education too and health services they are charged the very smallest fee possible as they have their own health insurance fund that takes care of the rest so about houses the is government is slowly by slowly giving free houses to them so step by step it's all gonna be achieved it's just a matter of time and how the government is just getting the money to use bcoz in Rwanda they prefer mostly relying on their forces to build themselves
The government also sensitize people to practice saving so about the programs there's girinka munyarwanda ,vision umurenge program, etc
Another thing you need to know is this house there in Rwanda is worth the same value of a 2M dollars in US so actually you know those houses are not everybody's houses in US so same in Rwanda too so average people don't even need to live in such big houses like these in Rwanda but yes they are Rwandans that can afford these houses in Rwanda they are just not built for foreigners only so yes they are affordable
@@festusdeogratias5463 well I think it's not honest to say that I m rwandese and I love rwanda and I think the country is on the good way.. But honestly if u know rwanda or Kigali you understand what I say.. Just a simple exemple: internet access in rwanda : around 40 to 50 USD a month..(to get your house connected) The average salary of a middle school teacher 60USD, all I m saying is that peoples in internet have to stay connected to reality. We need foreigners to grow the middle classe and create jobs and brings capitals...
We like all the houses you all have shown. Especially this home. I would like more land around my home as well if we were to buy. Could my unapologetically family get some show and quotes. Like an acre and above. Thanks in advance.
Nice home great price. A tad too close to neighbors for me.

Does Jackson have information in regards to financing? Banks/Mortgage companies? Basically can the $175k be financed?
Wondering if an investor can buy without being a “citizen”.
I would advise you to work with banks in the west because here the morgage is so expensive
Yes You can buy without being a citizen of Rwanda

kagabo cedric Do you know which banks in the west have the ability to lend in Rwanda?
@@petermccallister3761 I don't know any bank but I've heard about partnerships with an American company named Black Ivy in successful real estate projects in Ghana I'm not sure if that information can help

When a expat buy a house in Rwanda, do they have a 99 year lease or do they own the property where they can do with as they please. This is a amazing property
If you buy a house, you get the right just as the local on that propertie however rules an regulations on the land management must be respected as they come not only to foreigners but to all
Hey @Curtis, for foreigners to buy a real estate property in Rwanda, they're granted a 50 years period that is meant to be renewed.
guys remember. jackson is always online
Kigali has the min/max temperature of 16-28 degrees celcius throughout the year, I think adding an aircon in all rooms powered by solar energy would be perfect.
You don't need an aircon. The way they build houses in Rwanda makes your home always cool inside. If the house have a ceiling built like the one shown in their videos, then you don't need one. You can ask them if you don't believe me.
That is the right price

Wow 175,000 for a 5 bedroom?! here in the Detroit area that house would be starting out at 400k.
Someone said that it gets cold in Rwanda. How cold does it get and during what time of the year.
The climate in Rwanda is typically temperate; two rainy seasons (February to April, November to January); mild in mountains with frost and and less than 10% possibilities of snow. Kigali, in the centre of the country, has a typical daily temperature range between 12 °C (54 °F) and 27 °C (81 °F), with little variation through the year.
Right now...the weather is perfect to us. We haven’t used AC since being here. We used a fan here and there, but definitely no need at night or early mornings. During the day...right now...gets warm but beautiful and bearable.
