Damn it sounded good. You claimed that with a bridged exhaust it isn't "special" anymore, however you designed the thing from scratch, and had it metal 3D printed, which to me and most people is a pretty big damn deal. Seems special to me! Can't wait to see how it does on the dyno.
The sound of a two stroke makes me feel happy.
4 stroke is all serious, lets get the job done.
2 stroke is reckless silly fun
you should put a tachometer on the engines while on the test-stand:-)
What does PiP mean?
Wait for the engine get Dyno. Am also curious abt it.
@@EbonyPope its an epic build of 2stoke cylinder design. This could make more power due to resonance at Sweet spot rpm. To know more about it go through the old videos in this channel.
@@blkdna748 I know his old videos. But thanks.

I really want to see it on the dyno, even more on a vehicle ! It sounds so mean !
its weak as fuck.
@@DieselRamcharger Well, i don't know how to take this from a guy with diesel in the name, i mean, no offense, but diesel are not really the best sounding engines.
@@DieselRamcharger It's 50cc and it's about making the most hp out of that displacement. Given it is the highest hp per cc of displacement in that class I don't know if I'd call it "weak as fuck" when it's the best performing one in the world. Lol
@@n111254789 hp doesnt really mean anything except how high you are willing to rev it. ive seen no reliable data to qualify the output of this motor.
@@n111254789 Lots of claims. Zero Verifiable Data.
And here I was thinking you had forgotten all about the 'other' engine. Nice to hear it running again, or is that at last?. Loving the music too, very groovy.
What does he mean return PiP engine? What does it stand for?
@@EbonyPope I wondered that too ?....Good on him but he's reinventing the wheel.I built my own little dyno in my teens - & per cubic inch the model aircraft Cox engines put out the most HP per cc or cubic inch.Hed be better off running dual ram tuned rotary valves with the intake manifolds for a 50cc being about 12-13" long with carb on the end with a shot of nitrous gas.Do the pipe (exhaust) a favour)& build a steady for it(Like a strap to the crankcase)Trev New Zealand
Good to see this engine back and running, I still think of it as the 'main event'. Interesting music choice again.
Congrats on a successful vid. with the PIP. Nothing beats the sound of a 2stroke in the morning.
Fkn awesome!!! Been watching for 5yrs and so glad you've made so much progress! I think this was a big win :) Thanks for teaching me so much ♥
Awesome work mate and thankyou for the pipe at the camera love it.
Happy to listen for half hour while running in on dyno, cheers
You got my full respect for your work !
It‘s awesome seeing you getting closer to finish the engine - thanks for sharing it with us !
Kind regards from Germany !
Hi Alex
Glad to see you are back on this engine.
Ive been holding back thus far on commenting because I know you have had your heart set on making the 100% port work and I didn't want to put a damper on it, but I have to tell you my friend that the mechanic in me has been a bit skeptical about this working, in particular the piston design and the reasons being pretty much all the ways it has failed so far.
But I feel its time to comment now and say that I think you need to be a bit more systematic with it and try to avoid too much tunnel vision on singular issues like the 100% bridge free port at the expense of halting progress on everything else.
Also keeping in mind the tuners rule of diminishing returns, meaning how much of a real gain is 100% exhaust with and without a bridge in practice. Because if there is little to gain in performance between bridge and no bridge then it might be better to settle on having one suffice to have it reliable enough to run at least long enough to last for Dyno runs, rather than stick with no bridge and be continually frustrated by failures arising from it to the point you give up on it which seems to be what has happened for a while. And now you have one with the bridge an its working well that sense of satisfaction may compel you to just put the 100% no bridge in the past and forge ahead with the rest of it.
Now it is working more reliably you can get to the dyno testing and perhaps you will find some more gains there to offset the small loss a bridge causes.
Onwards and Upwards...........
Great to hear that fantastic two stroke sound again! 👍😀
I'm so happy to see you bring this engine back and have it run so good! The compromise allows us to finally see what your port design can do.
Gratulations! Everything worked out fine-------best thing to hear! Greetings from Germany
I'm glad it's working for you! Looking forward to seeing it on the dyno.
Well done mate. Nice work, been following your progress for a while now. 👍
Hell yeah, awesome to see you working with a running motor again, that must be really encouraging!
i for one hope that in the near future (post lock down) that alex has a meet and greet day, there's so many of us out there rooting for this project to come to it's fruition...i would jump on a plane just to shake this guys hand.4 years plus i have followed this journey, and it has been epic and engrossing.
Nice to see and hear it running again. Nothing beats the Sound of a 2stroke in the morning.
Congratulations! Nice to see the engine running without shitting itself. I can see you have a gleam in your eye again😊 Cheers again from Oz.
Excellent work, I love seeing how you come up with alternatives to the problems that appear. The sound of that engine is adorable! Reminds me of my 1980 yamaha RX125
Thank you Alex. I have been rooting for your PiP engine and I wish you luck!
If you jet till you’re blue in the face and it is still rich, tighten the stinger up .010” at a time. It works!
Your thumbnail convinced me that you must know what your talking about lol
Bleed tube. Pipe outlet. Stinger. Just tighten where the baffle cone attaches
Seriously AMAZING! Love the videos can’t wait to see what comes!
Ahhh that beautiful sound! Can't wait until the secondary is going
@12:52 bolt or something fell out , keep up the good work can't wait to see it on the dyno
Hooooraay!! It's nice to see you getting a bit of encouragement from your successful run of the PIP
A cup of coffee & a 2 stroke engine is the beat way to start the morning.
Fantastic update. It's really great to hear that engine sing It's tune again. 👌
I made a good bottle tank from PE plastic bottle. Two hoses in tight holes thru cap. Long one to bottom for fuel and just thru the cap for replace air (pin size air hole for prevent leak in tip over happenings). When I blow to air hose, it fill fuel hose.
So happy to see you back on this engine 👍🏻
Riktigt kul att följa dig och att du äntligen kommer framåt med din PiP-motor igen!
love your work PIP.. so good to see your success, im so happy for you, how far you have come. looking forward to bonnieville 2.0!!

Hi. Spotted your black spark plug and just a note. I funny enough today battled with my motor not running good. Found plug was arcing to the top ever so slightly. Replaced with other make and wow my motor runs far beter. Something to look for 1st before any other problems. Sounds amazing👌👌

Yess. I asked the other day, you delivered 😁😁 love your videos bud, keep up the great work!
Wahooo that crack on the end of the two stroke sound 👍👍😁😁💨
Bloody oath, good on ya mate ,I could hear it from Aus 👍
Sounds divine!
Leaky secondary intake is a great idea even if getting the mixture correct is harder. And I love the handle bar on the jig!
We were the home of the wide mouth Banshee cylinders, max power came from single wide mouth port, we tried bridges and pencil ports etc. Nothing like a wide low single port. Try a ring that is twice normal thickness when you get a chance.
Gotta be happy with that! It only gets better from here!
Sounds gnarly :)
Love your videos and I love 2 strokes!
Awesome man, you're a genius
Omg what are you doing. “ just purity and resonance “ I love it .😆 what a cool engine , keep up the outstanding work mate. You make some great videos and your love for 2 stroke is just contagious. 👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼🥃🥃🥃🍻
God i love that sound!
I hate to send you off on another project but if you were to buy a cheap diode laser, you could adapt a cnc tool holder to mount it and then use your cnc to cut out those gaskets by laser. You could use an extra g-code for cycling a switch to turn the laser on and off such as the g-code for mist.
😁 Actually been looking into laser cutters
Pip is back.voila And successful. Resonance! So much happy to see the engine again soon.
YEEES! can't wait to see this on the dyno, even with the bridge port!
Would you ever consider building a big budget 125cc motocross engine for someone if funded by them?

My kids started out riding 50cc bikes at 3 years of age. This motor my have saved me buying bigger bikes for kids that skill was bigger than the engine but could barely touch the ground on the bigger cc's bikes.
good momentum. like it!
