    I love you Dr. G! I got your book and I'm down 20 pounds in 6 weeks. I was very I'll for years. I'm able to walk around the park now without wanting to cry from joint pain. I have 65 pounds of toxic waste/fat I believe I need to release and this is how I'm going to do it. ❤

    Personally, following hypernourishing smoothies- I inadvertently put a cup of flax seeds in my 64 ounces.. I stopped oils, and calorie restricted… however, I did not lose weight.. when I reduced flax seeds to 1 tbls, I have steadily lost 2 pounds over the last week. There are individual differences. No one way of eating or consuming foods/smoothies, etc is correct for everyone.

      Your body may not have been used to that amount of flax tho. Have to build up to that amount, other wise your GI isn’t used to it

    I just want to clarify, you are talking about flax oil..only? Correct? Only flax oil is omega 3 oil and therefore good for us? As well as whole plant fats like avocados

    Can the high dose of seeds affect someone with Autoimmune Pancreatitis and Fatty Liver? I have trouble with avocados,these give me pain in my pancreas and liver.

    This is awesome! Thank you!just curious about avacodoes?I know they are amazing for us but they contain of omega 6, so this confuses me. In your protocol we can have avacodoes. Answer pls. Thank you.

      They are mostly omega -9 which is not involved in the inflammatory pathway. We have not seen any problems with fat loss or healing even with eating multiple avocados a day.

    If it goes into my cell membranes etc then it would surely free the existing omega 6s already there. Total energy must be conserved. These can't be free calories. Do we have the published studies showing omega 3s' effects on weight loss?

    Dr. G,
    I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy called Charcot - Marie - Tooth Disease. I follow a guy on UA-cam called Markus Rothkranz, he says that by drinking green smoothies and eating raw I can overcome my disability. If I follow your protocol, which is pretty much the same as what he is saying to do, do you believe that this is possible for me?

    The problem is that there is a lot of evidence in animals and humans and we understand the mechanism of the damage of oils. There needs to be evidence provided that flax oil is different. It may be but where is the evidence? I personally reacted to flax and chia and did better when I took them out and perhaps I will be able to tolerate them in the future and will definitely try again, but I couldn’t fine any evidence that they have been shown to be different. Maybe for some people they are but there needs to be more research and definitely more evidence provided to support this idea.

      Eva Ort The evidence is in the results we’ve had with people for the past decade. People who did not get full recovery or rapid recovery using a whole food plant-based diet who had a dramatic and complete recovery when adding the omega-3’s. We have a cardiologist in New York who has moved her patients from the original low fat whole food plant-based plan to using our smoothies and says it works much better and faster for her patients. She lets them have unlimited avocados and flax and Chia seeds, and our smoothies

      The evidence is in her patients who cant tolerate the seeds but can consume the oil.

      It could be because you have got dysbiosis from other food stuffs in your diet which in turn is compromising your gut microbiome.

      Animal fat is bad for you. The omegas in fish are DHA and EPA as fish concert the ALA . Fish also contains toxins , saturated fat and cholesterol.

    You seem persuasive, but I'm skeptical that omega-3 will *NEVER* be stored as fat as you seem to be saying. What happens to omega-3 that does not end up getting used to construct cell membranes? Does it just get excreted in the stool? And two testable examples using a vegan no oils base of 2000 daily calories, what happens if you replace 500 of those calories by omega-3? And the same question if you *ADD* 500 calories of omega-3 to the diet, resulting in a 25% calorie surplus?

    Furthermore, only roughly 50% of the fat in flax oil is omega-3 ALA (α-linolenic acid). The rest is about 15% omega-6 (linoleic acid) and 18% omega-9 (oleic acid), plus 10% saturated fats! Can't those fats end up stored as fat just like they do when other fats that contain them do?

      When you follow the plan you must have a goal to eat 1lb of raw vegetables a day and drink 96-128oz of water and 1/2 cu Chia and/or flaxseeds/.flax oil . So it’s really hard to go over fat intake, because your system is constantly flushing and being full from the veg. You just won’t sit there chugging flax oil.
