Jokes apart, 60 fps is actually an accessibility requirement. I cannot for example play games at < 60 on monitors or TVs because I get headache. Steam deck is fine at 30/ 40 fps because the screen size is not big enough.
Real diversity is to have multiple character classes and have the player select one, instead of shoving something that is not likable by most. Btw, they are compelled to do this because of money. Look up Blackrock and Vanguard institutional investors, who invest only in those companies that implement DEI. They are the top 2 public investors of Microsoft, who made the contract with this publisher to put it on gamepass. So most games in gamepass we can expect to have these things. They want them specifically because that is how they can reach out to most people.

Hi Maurice, My Series S died while I was downloading games, and ever since, it has not turned on. It's completely dead and does not respond to the power button, nor does it charge the battery when I plug the controller's battery into the Xbox. I think the power unit might have died, and it's highly unlikely for the CPU or GPU to get fried since it's only 15 months old. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks Maurice for the review. As long as it does a good job without any frame rate drop, 30 fps is also a solid one in my book. Not all game can be 60fps tho. Even though it's such a shame since Senua Saga 1 was built using UE4 and on 60fps if I'm not mistaken.
I sold my SS and i think it's time to upgrade. I mean SS was a great machine to me but now more games are locked at 30 fps on SS is just nah... I'd get a SX or a ps5.

I think you should read up on what woke actually means.. I played through the whole game and I have no clue what you are referring to when you call it woke. Sure the character is very dull and has almost no depth. But that does not make it woke. Woke based on what? What does the game do that is so woke? The game does not push any type of political views or agendas referring to racial or social injustices💀💀

I think I was pretty clear, but yeah the character is dull, one dimensional, unlikeable and badly written just for the sake of being inclusive. If that's not ultra woke I don't know what is.. Really not that hard to see 😉

Did they do it because they wanted it to be inclusive or did they deny inclusivity...OR they didn't prioritize characterization, making them charismatic or with a sense of humor...OR more interesting lol There's no logic to this. People are having the same kind of energy for South of Midnight, calling that "Forspoken 2.0".

Politics is taking the fun out of gaming. The industry needs to cool down before it crashes like the movie industry. We going to be stuck playing old games.
I just can't get into games that aren't a grounded human experience based on realism. If it's a fantasy story, fantasy world, magic, aliens, potions, talking animals etc... i just can't stay focused. It has to be like Mafia, RDR2, GTA5, Splinter Cell etc.. for me to stay interested. I'm the same way with Movies, I love movies like Forest Gump, My Cousin Vinny , Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan etc... but can't watch Marvel films, Anime, Cartoons etc... maybe i'm too mature
Has nothing to do with maturity. Both fantasy film/games has great and bad contributer. Same as more grounded films and games. It's just your taste. No shame in it. I have a very hard time playing games that are funny or like sarcastic.
This game looks good to me. It seems to fall into that double A game development category. I loved Banishers: Ghosts of Eden which feels like it had a similar budget / scope. If you are not happy with the "likeability" of the main character, why not just say that? Why blame the representation in the game for lack of good character development? Do you feel that character would have been more likeably or better written if it had been a white man? I am just confused and disappointed with how you expressed that criticism. I am not trying to "cancel" you or unsubscribing. I really like your videos and value your opinions. I just was genuinely perplexed hearing you belabor that point.
I just wish it was a fun, well written character. Instead of a forced inclusive one dimensional character that has nothing going for it. If anything I think it's even quite racist to make this character like it is.

It is definitely possible to do more harm than good for inclusion if it is forced and marginalized people are poorly represented. Maybe that is the case here. I can be triggered when people try to dismiss any form of inclusion as "woke" and ultimately misguided and that voice is widely echoed in the "gaming influencer" community. Ultimately, it is your channel and you need to be true to yourself and honest with your thoughts. Keep up the good work. I will give it a shot as I do think it looks genuinely fun / interesting. I may walk away with similar disappointment.

This game didn't catch my attention at all, from the video it seems to be running well on the console at 30 fps, some care about that, I don't, if it had a 60 fps mode it would obviously be better but that doesn't stop me from playing. What stops me from playing is that the game seems extremely shallow and the main character is not good
