For those that are burnt out, I recommend taking a month break, delete everything with a battle pass, delete everything off your SSD. Download 3 games you are dying to play, try indie games, and replay classics.
Man I dont think I have gone longer than a full week without gaming at least some bit since I was like........6 lol. Good idea though. Luckily I have never paid for microtransactions (bar once on hearthstone and I quickly realised I dont wana go down this rabbit hole) and quickly gravitated toward indies. Indies is where its at mostly for me now.

I just got into Monster Hunter World and the gameplay is tight. No season pass and all the events are available now. Even if they weren't, I know they'd be back.

I am with you, I'm still finishing several 3DS games before I start hitting up the Switch library. 3DS put out some serious bangers in 2016-2018. Games like Fire Emblem Echoes, Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon, came out in 2017 so not that old in my book. Same year as Breath of the Wild. I'm still transferring Pokemon from every generation to Pokemon Home on the regular from 3DS Pokemon Bank
Simplifying naturally happens. Look at the lifecycle of a gamer with a substantial computer upgrade: 0-6 months: Cyberpunk at 4K with all settings max 6-12 months: Half Life 2 12+ months: Browser games with UA-cam in the background
I don't have a Gaming pc anymore, but we have very good and cheap internet here so I'm using Geforce Now. After the same cycle of AAA games I ended up replaying Half Life 2 anyway. But now I can play it on almost anything be it smartphone, tablet, old AIO or the Chromecast. 😂
As I grow older (20s lol) I have really started to appreciate the short 10 hour action packed games i can shut off my mind for. Uncharted is so fun, i want more games like that
@@umutyildirim8195 i actually bought a PS4 specifically to play all of them years ago. I wish they'd make another Uncharted. I haven't played God of war actually, I may get it next payday
@umutyildirim8195 I personally like to play lots of games with the idea of playing series I've missed out on, and also trying games that are new kinds of experiences (I like to find the gems of each genre, even if the genre isn't normally to my taste). So I create just groups of games to play based on series. I was a Playstation action shooter + rpg + story games kid, so I missed out on stuff like halo, gears of war, tomb raider, uncharted. I love going back and seeing the stuff I didn't experience as a kid that were great for other people. I just wanna try everything with the idea that I'll strike gold with some games.
@@umutyildirim8195The problem is that Sony exclusives are now gone in favor of “Call of Duty Modern Black Ops World War 23” Which is sad because Sony had so many creative exclusives! Ratchet and Clank, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, God of War… Creativity is gone. Now they focus on making the same recycled military shooter…
This video resonated with me so much, I had the same epiphany a few months ago and it's the reason why I stepped away from Apex Legends and Call of duty. I uninstalled them and haven't looked back. I never realized how much time I was putting into those games. Now I have so much extra free time. It's done wonders for my mental health. This is the best advice I've run across on YT.
Thank you and glad to hear! Yeah I've gone through a pretty similar transition this year. I still enjoy MP games and there are some great ones out there, but there have also been a lot of years where I was forcing myself to just play something and not really thinking about why
I'm 34 now and remember the PS2 days and earlier very vividly. You just went to a store and rented or bought a game and would just play it. You never had online reviews or streamers telling you how a game was and if it was "worth" playing. You just got it and enjoyed it. People are so overly negative and critical of everything that comes out (sometimes it is warranted) but damn I'm sick of negativity surrounding gaming. I miss just grabbing a game and a couple buddies, some snacks and drinks and just laughing away.
Me the newest game I play is BO3 nearly 10 years old retro gaming far more fun I have every console from Nintendo entertainment system to Xbox one and I love playing old games especially with other people split screen.
I like how you’re able to voice your thoughts without being overly dramatic and emotional like many other videos talking about the same things. It’s like a nice conversation that promotes critical thinking instead of blatant negativity with no actual thought.
been emulating ps2/dreamcast/gamecube games for the past year or two and playing some hidden gems that I missed out back in the days. The sixth generation was the peak in gaming and we'll never see anything like it ever again
@@josephduncan4408 Boku no Natsuyasumi 2, Ico, IllBleed, Sakura Wars, Steambot Chronicles, D2, Way of the Samurai are some I can remember on the top of my head. This is absolutely the truth. So much of our modern world is built on keeping you engaged on nothing for as long as possible. The part about owning music and actually having it instead of losing it to a lack of subscription or a sea of other music battling for space in an oversaturated market really spoke to me. As someone who creates music, it pains me to see the death of album art and art books because digital services like spotify and other streaming services limit you to a cover art, title, and meta-data. Old vinyls and album covers have so much personality and when you bought them there was so much more aside from the music. Going back to older games, and actually owning stuff you're paying your hard earned money for is something I'm all for. Excellent video. 👍

For some time now, I've stopped feeling pleasure in gaming. I thought it was because of adulthood, but you made me realize what the real problem is. I have a rig that can run everything in 4K on ultra settings, yet when I come home from work, I end up playing Metroid Fusion on the GBA while relaxing on my bed :D
I went cold turkey on games for a month and that was enough to help me reset and find the joy in it again. Games are better when you choose to play them, rather than default to playing them. You have no obligation to play that game you used to love that you now kinda hate, you deserve better.
I remember playing Final Fantasy XI back in college. Started failing my classes so I quit the game. Told myself I’d never let a game take over my life like that again. Luckily I had my teens and 20s before this live service era. I can’t imagine the level of addiction teens and 20 year olds are dealing with now.

Few weeks ago I installed private server of WoW (TBC) on my PC and been playing alone. No people, no bots, just that whole big world all for me. And you know what, it's amazing. Been playing as Warlock, soloing, doing what I can in a world created for thousands and thousands of people. And it's been very relaxing, playing the whole game at my own pace and living my own story. Been reading every quest description, every journal, looking at every detail... something I haven't had time when I was playing WoW as MMORPG with other people all these years ago.
yeah I used to play Elder Scrolls Online with friends and it was always dungeons and dungeons over and over. I started playing solo and started enjoying the whole world.
I never played WoW but from my friends I gathered clans and cooperative play was the most important thing to them. It's possible they enjoyed it solo as well. But I can see how being part of a clan would put unspoken pressure on you to devote your time to more cooperative play while solo exploration takes a backseat.
Man, i just wanna thank you for showing me you could do this. Me and my friend have been having a blast the past week doing this on Woltk just taking our time. Thank you.
Im back to the roots. Playing now older 90's games, ps1, ps2, ps3 and nintendo games. no downloading, no installing, no patches, no internet, no more mindless running in open world...pure fun. And for multiplayer?...coop couch games with friends.
One the best things I started doing with all my media; video games, books, tv shows, etc, is that I will drop them once I stop enjoyng them. Sometimes I come back to them later and enjoy them again, which is great. With such little free time as an adult I can't waste it.
I watched another video recently that talked about how we constantly confuse our desire with compulsion, and I think this is along the same vein. We confuse actually wanting to play with the fear of not playing something out of dumbass rules we inadvertently put on ourselves.
I was hooked on Destiny 2. Spending hours upon hours every week grinding out content, looking for the perfect stat roll on armor or perk combination on a weapon. Spending money on all the cosmetics. I realized recently that I wasn't actually having fun playing the game anymore, so I uninstalled it. All of a sudden it's like I'm back to having fun playing video games again. D2 really did turn into a full on addiction. And that's by design. They want you hooked. Invested. And playing nothing else.
I only play it off-and-on anymore (started around Season of Splicer), but I gotta say my favorite expansion (and the only one I actually bought 😆) was Beyond Light. The guy that voiced Variks voiced a character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which is pretty cool.
@TheRealRidley12 if i can say anything positive about Destiny it's that the voice cast can pretty good at times. i always loved the way Variks talked, especially in D1 when entering the Prison of Elders. "Success, Guardian... you have done it."
I think the best method to decide if a game is worth playing is to compare how you felt before playing the game and how you felt after. If you feel like the game made it worse, delete that stuff.
Good message! I’m a gamer in my late 30’s and I can’t agree with you more. I remember a time when game developers prioritized player experience over company profits. Those were the good days. Luckily, there are still a handful of studios who have their priorities straight. ✌🏻✌🏻
Almost two years ago i managed to break the cicle, i felt trapped by Destiny 2. It was a literal job, as in I made money "job". As a kid in high-school, being paid to play my favorite game felt like a dream. At first it was so incredibly fun I couldn't believe it was a job. Then the years passed, and I couldn't believe I ever found it fun to begin with. You perfectly captured the sentiment, it was a routine that made me feel like I had no time for anything else. After stopping I literally did not play a single game for an entire year. Then I tried Alan Wake, the first installment. I had almost forgotten what it felt like to be genuinely excited to play a game. PS. Speaking of Warframe, I now love watching my roommate play. I plan to join him one day, the love for space-magic is still there. ❤
Glad you found something new to enjoy. I put plenty of hours into Warframe as well but eventually burned out. I still keep an eye on the update announcements and consider it a fun game. Maybe I'll come back to it someday
@@bettybunbun9664 back on ps4 i was into the carry/recov scene, just a group of friends getting people flawless each weekend and sharing the money. on pc a year later i went on my own, focusing on my own list of personal carries and the occasional tournament. at one point I even took on streamer-bounties.

Yeah when he started talking about spotify and renting music I was like WTF is he talking about? Is it that bad who still haven't left the corporate money farming grounds. Just download the song and listen to it whenever you want a billion times. Literally what is wrong with downloading a song file or ripping it from YT, it's the most easy, most accessible, most cheap method possible yet everyone is convinced that using some lame service is better and it never is.
@@123mandalore777as guilty as I am of it piracy of music like you’re describing there takes the money from the actual artists making the music and stops them earning a living. Generally best to buy the album then import it into local files rather than a UA-cam rip, even over Spotify

It usually takes a couple headaches on COD or battlefield or any other online shooter and then I’m instantly back into Skyrim or some old Star Wars game soaking up hours of fun and exploration
Completely agree. I recently got a GameCube. Tony Hawk, Medal of Honor, Monkeyball and Twilight Princess. I wanted to play TP more than anything when I was a kid and for some reason I never went and got it. I’m having such a blast
Thank you. Really needed to hear that as I‘m currently stuck in the circle of finding the perfect game which doesn’t exist. Taking a break and going back to the games of my childhood. I think that’s something I‘m looking forward to. Wild times we‘re living in where we all together need to build rooms of self awareness
Switch is pretty great. It is entirely built around games in a way no other Xbox/Playstation has been for a long time. And I love how instant the wake from sleep is and the ability to instantly get back into a game right where you were. Makes even Xbox's buggy Quick Resume feature seem slow.
Imagine that. Video games that are fun. As opposed to video games that are frustrating and a chore to get through. I grew up with the original NES back in the early 90s so I have not forgotten how it used to be. I would say the best experience I had as a gamer was in the late 90s and especially in the early 2000s. Experiencing the PS2 in its height as a mid to late teen was something I will never forget. I wish teens and younger kids in the present day had a similar experience but we all know they all mostly grew up glued to a tablet on their face, scrolling mindlessly or playing some live service game with little to no gain other than quenching the addiction it creates. That’s why I have always been a proponent for shorter singer player games with enough challenge to make you feel accomplished and long enough that you won’t get bored with it.
The switch is what convinced me to move to PC, sadly because I have such a big library accrued on my Xbox I can't simply I can't simply get rid of my system in favor of investing into a new and better PC
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Metroid Prime Remastered, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door... quite a few gems the Switch has.
This video reminded me of Seannanners' older videos where it was just gameplay and a calm, engaging commentary/discussion. Great message, great quality
Ghostwire: Tokyo and the System Shock remake are two incredible single-player experiences that I go back to when I get tired of the live-service slop. I think you're right! For me, grinding a battle pass makes a game feel less like a game and more like a second job. Taking time for those single-player adventures is always a nice experience!
So glad I found your channel, feel like you and I resonate on many levels. As I've gotten older I've learned to be reflective and look at how I spend my time. I've started implementing small changes to be more intentional with my time and boy has it make a difference. It's not about making yourself 100% better in 1 day, but making yourself 1% better over 100 days.
Must admit, I’m guilty of this. It’s almost like I convince myself that I have to finish one game to start playing another so I end up speeding through at times.
Thank you! When i was younger i had a blast playing singleplayer games and the reason was the experience. Sometimes i still catch myself in trying to beat the game rather than enjoying the game to its fullest extend.
Dungeons of Hinterberg is a great example of this. I'd got stuck in a doom loop of playing a certain live service game every day. Never paid for anything but my gamepass subscription, but still... Then, just when I was feeling properly fed up, DoH dropped on gamepass, and I spent about a week happily progressing through a game that actively *encourages* you to progress entirely at your own pace, and rewards you for just chilling out looking at the view from a mountaintop or spending an evening making friends with npcs. Sure, it's not Elden Ring or Balder's Gate, but I felt RELAXED playing it. It was a bit like I was on holiday from the daily grind, which is, I suspect, why the player character is very deliberately ALSO on a holiday from her own daily grind.
I really like the points you made in this video and it's exactly what and how I have been thinking of gaming and other services lately. It's important to pace yourself, take breaks whatever it is you are consuming too much of. Great video as a new viewer.
By following gaming from like 5 years behind, you can not only save an insane amount of money, but also time, because it becomes much easier to tell if the game is actually good and not FOTM slop.
I'm SO GLAD to see more and more people realizing the circus we're all becoming a part of, if we're just doing what the corps want us to do. which is to stay glued to our screens and spend money.
I've been pretty disconnected from D2 since Beyond Light, but yeah, I really felt like it became a grind I wasn't interested in. No shade as I know the raid content in D2 is amazing, but I fell off that wagon pretty hard
Love the nature of your content. I'm one of the few people in my old friend group who actually broke out of the cycle of playing live service games non-stop to pass the time. I now play a lot of indie games and some old AAA games. And every single word you said about feeling like some games are a chore rather than play is true. Thank you for making the video and I hope your content reaches millions of people, because its just that good.
I've also been feeling this! I set up a backlog in a bullet journal recently, but I've also been suffering horrific burnout. It's got to the point I'm seriously thinking 'Why is this game on my backlog?' Is it because some influencer told me to, because everyone is playing it, or because I'm genuinely excited? I was recently reminded of what real gaming excitement felt like when the zoi creator demo for Inzoi came out. Most things I add to my wishlist are so mindlessly done nowadays they don't spark any emotion. Silent Hill 2, however - that feels exciting to me and back to 'I can't wait and will buy it day 1' territory.
This summer I was away from my pc for a lot of the time. Had to go away for 2 weeks for a couple of times. And what I realized was that after being away from gaming for 2 weeks, when i returned gaming felt much better and i was actually having fun. So my advice is everybody should detox from time to time and not game for a while, maybe a week, 2 weeks or a month it's your preference. Also great video, you have a new subscriber.
Been echoing this for a while. Ive gone back and played classics, new weird indies and some unknown/forgotten titles and its almost completely reinvigorated my love for gaming
path of exile was exactly this for me games that are designed for you to play forever. i think this really devalues what games bring and the reason why we love them. we need conclusion, we need closure, we need an ending.
Halls of Torment is a recent game that I really enjoy for this reason, 20mins a game, I can put on an album that I love and just enjoy a simple experience
Thank you for this, I love this type of games but I never heard of Halls Of Torment before. If you like this type of games I can recommend Brotato, 20 Minutes Till Dawn and Army Of Ruin.
This is exactly why 80-90% of my time spent gaming is with older games. It’s now extremely rare that I play a game that just came out, and I have a lot more genuine FUN because of that.
I really want to enjoy gaming, and i keep trying to beat all my games but my problem is I can’t drop a game because I don’t feel like any of the games I play are anything special it’s just okay (I’ve play rdr2, outer wilds, Zelda botw). It feels like I’m chasing a feeling that everyone else is experiencing but I just can’t, it feels like I’m just trying to find a very good experience but it always just ends up being me spending time while I enjoy it a little but just as in it’s better than nothing. Also I have a problem where I always wait to play/watch something because I want it to actually hit good and not just be played randomly which makes me never actually play the game
The idea is on point really. I sometimes find myself playing a game which I don't enjoy but still pushing myself to play for no reason. Lately I've started to just quit the game if I don't enjoy because yeah time is valuable and if I am playing a game to spend time than it should be something I enjoy
I’ve been playing MWII 2022, and it has honestly been a blast going back. Yes, it’s not that old, but in CoD terms when a game is a year old it becomes old news. But going back to play a game I genuinely enjoyed AND all the FOMO stuff is gone has been a breath of fresh air.
Live service CAN work if it's done right. The problem is that most of not ALL live service models depend on "seasons" & microtransactions. I really don't play any video games for "seasons". It's not the NBA or NFL, it's a video game. I shouldn't have to pay money to play a game seasonally, I pay money for a game because I want to own the content and play it whenever want to. I honestly detest battle passes and I wish they never existed
Elite dangerous, while it's not perfect, it has nailed the concepts for live service. The live service should be a story for the game, not a constant purchasing tool to make the Devs as much cash as possible
This video reminded me of what problem i'm actually going through. Doomscrolling and playing games out of a habit have been dragging me down for so long. I need to get back up and get rid of these bad habits of doing something that does not bring me joy.
I’m just not interested in new games anymore. I used to always try and see what the upcoming games are but I just don’t care anymore. There’s so many older games that are cheap and just as good if not better
Playing a game like Stalker Gamma was one of the most refreshing expirences ive had in awhile. It just is a fun game, built by a team of passionate people, for free.
Seeing someone play through Route Kanal brings me such a feeling of warm nostalgia. I remember the first time I played through HL2 on my 13th birthday, no game since has drawn me into its world so convincingly and that mission remains my favourite.
I've been in a rabbit hole as of late replaying games from the 2000's, and it's been refreshing to play games that really want to show you what developer teams can do with all the new capabilities of the time.
Great video man! I've been thinking this for a looong time and chasing the older stuff for this reason. Thank you for putting it to words so eloquently
Nice hearing you talk bout Ipod because this is the way i still listen to music. I hated Spotify from the moment i saw it. Signed for a single month then never again. I like having my songs with me, organized in different Playlists depending on my mood and just listening to the things i really love.
I know where you are coming from but ive enjoyed the Assassins Creed (Origins for example) Games lately. They are grindy, full of boring fetch quests and simple story telling but the world building and the graphics are top notch. Nothing fancy to say about the gameplay: mark on the map, get up your camel and ride to it, loot/fight/sneak around, done, repeat. I dont have to comitt my whole life to a game and sell my first born to play it. Mindlessly, stupid, distilled fun for me. There are many of these, i've accepted that im no dwarf fortress or hearts of iron fan as cool as they are sound. I think many of us gamers want to be generalists and have fun with every game as we see there is fun to be had with other games. Dont play everything and get burned out. Godsend there is youtube for that and you can watch other people playing it. Ive tried/bought so many games and this is my conclusion.
Felt this with all the games I was playing. They were all triple A. I wasn’t even having fun but kept telling myself “these are the best games out there”. Xbox had a huge sale going and I got Terraria for $3. I bought it 10 days ago and already have over 40h on it. I literally don’t want to go to bed, I want to keep playing. I’ve beaten it 3 times before I bought it and wanted to try it out again. Truly a masterpiece!
Once, when I was burnt out/bored with games, after a few days of not playing, I reached for indie games (FTL, Convoy, Limbo, Inside, Firewatch) and the fascination returned. Thanks to pcvr, you can refresh yourself with a few good older titles. Half Life 2 VR (+ episodes), Bulletstorm VR, a bit newer Payday 2 VR.
I don't really leave comments under videos, but I have to say at the moment you are my favorite content creator because you make quality content and I'm really enjoying it. Keep up the good work!
I find it funny youtube recommended this video to me. I just bought and downloaded gta 3 (the original one) and man I'm having more fun than I ever could have expected. I used to play as a kid with a PS2 and I figured i put enough hours into it but I'm noticing little details I never did as a kid. Streaming it for friends who are still stuck in the loop of modern gaming and they love watching it. I think were are way too caught up in the dopamine hits of the current era to realize the real fun was in the oldies and single player games.
Taking a hiatus from any daily-login games is one of the best things you can do for your mental health + backlog. I've had so many games that I was "just keeping up with the monthly content" that I backed off of and realized I was either massively burnt out on, or the game had changed in some way to make it less fun than I originally had.
For those that are burnt out, I recommend taking a month break, delete everything with a battle pass, delete everything off your SSD. Download 3 games you are dying to play, try indie games, and replay classics.
Best solution there is

Games like Fire Emblem Echoes, Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon, came out in 2017 so not that old in my book. Same year as Breath of the Wild. I'm still transferring Pokemon from every generation to Pokemon Home on the regular from 3DS Pokemon Bank

Simplifying naturally happens. Look at the lifecycle of a gamer with a substantial computer upgrade:

So I create just groups of games to play based on series.
I was a Playstation action shooter + rpg + story games kid, so I missed out on stuff like halo, gears of war, tomb raider, uncharted.
I love going back and seeing the stuff I didn't experience as a kid that were great for other people. I just wanna try everything with the idea that I'll strike gold with some games.
@@umutyildirim8195The problem is that Sony exclusives are now gone in favor of “Call of Duty Modern Black Ops World War 23”

This video resonated with me so much, I had the same epiphany a few months ago and it's the reason why I stepped away from Apex Legends and Call of duty. I uninstalled them and haven't looked back.

I went cold turkey on games for a month and that was enough to help me reset and find the joy in it again. Games are better when you choose to play them, rather than default to playing them. You have no obligation to play that game you used to love that you now kinda hate, you deserve better.

I appreciated your reminder that gaming is a hobby. For a few years it's started to feel like "just something I do" ya know?
I watched another video recently that talked about how we constantly confuse our desire with compulsion, and I think this is along the same vein. We confuse actually wanting to play with the fear of not playing something out of dumbass rules we inadvertently put on ourselves.
HUGE Message!
Thanks dude!
That's a solid way to check in to see if you're enjoying it, I like that
Good message!

Nintendo switch was the answer to me. Much simpler platform where the first party line up has games that’s sole focus is for the player to have fun
Just bought it. This is absolutely right! 👍

Ghostwire: Tokyo and the System Shock remake are two incredible single-player experiences that I go back to when I get tired of the live-service slop. I think you're right! Thank you! When i was younger i had a blast playing singleplayer games and the reason was the experience. Sometimes i still catch myself in trying to beat the game rather than enjoying the game to its fullest extend.
THIS!!! It's the journey

I'm SO GLAD to see more and more people realizing the circus we're all becoming a part of, if we're just doing what the corps want us to do. which is to stay glued to our screens and spend money.
The timing between this video and Destiny 2 Echo's Episode 3 release is too perfect.
They still are. You just aren't playing any of the new fun games.
Thanks for putting what's been on my mind the past year into something concrete. This will help me be more aware of this issue.

I've been playing retro games (from NES up to the Wii & PS3) and it's been great! Nostalgia is a hell of a drug!
My dad still plays Battlefield 1942.
Love these kind of videos bc a lot of us can relate to this ,

Live service CAN work if it's done right. The problem is that most of not ALL live service models depend on "seasons" & microtransactions. I really don't play any video games for "seasons". It's not the NBA or NFL, it's a video game. I shouldn't have to pay money to play a game seasonally, I pay money for a game because I want to own the content and play it whenever want to. I honestly detest battle passes and I wish they never existed
Exactly, they are the "gym memberships," of gaming
Elite dangerous, while it's not perfect, it has nailed the concepts for live service.
The live service should be a story for the game, not a constant purchasing tool to make the Devs as much cash as possible
I still continue to hate live service. They always end up being bad.
Helldivers 2 has zero fomo
@BBKDRAGOON I've never heard it described that way, but it's totally accurate.
DUDE SSX TRICKY!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT GAME
I sold my PS2 years ago, but seeing that and Gran Turismo immediately made me regret that.
@@DaHitch Emulation, brother. 'Tis the way.
This is why I still play Borderlands. No updates, no changes being made. Just a fun franchise
2:20 GT4 looks gorgeous even today
PCSX2 and using the HD retexture mods, it's incredible, still one of the best racing games ever made
Playing a game like Stalker Gamma was one of the most refreshing expirences ive had in awhile. It just is a fun game, built by a team of passionate people, for free.
I've reached a point where I can enjoy only GTA games.
I got into driving sim games recently and ended up getting a wheel, I think they’re the only modern games that I genuinely enjoy.
I just play the games I want even if is not new. As long as I am enjoying.
Love that
@@BBKDRAGOON Also, make sure to take a break.
Seeing someone play through Route Kanal brings me such a feeling of warm nostalgia. I remember the first time I played through HL2 on my 13th birthday, no game since has drawn me into its world so convincingly and that mission remains my favourite.
What's the game at 1:05
dying to know it too
Lunistice
I've been in a rabbit hole as of late replaying games from the 2000's, and it's been refreshing to play games that really want to show you what developer teams can do with all the new capabilities of the time.
half the songs you listen to are off the platform in a month? what kind of music do you listen to?
Great video man! I've been thinking this for a looong time and chasing the older stuff for this reason. Thank you for putting it to words so eloquently
“Babe wake up BBKDRAGOON uploaded”
yooo thanks!
😂good one
In YOUR case, babe=mom.
Your channel offers something to the gaming sphere that no one else does. You’re appreciated. Keep going!
Imagine getting tired of "playing games"... it's a terrifying concept.
Nice hearing you talk bout Ipod because this is the way i still listen to music. I hated Spotify from the moment i saw it. Signed for a single month then never again. I like having my songs with me, organized in different Playlists depending on my mood and just listening to the things i really love.
Nothing sucks the joy out of a game more than the term “open world”
I know where you are coming from but ive enjoyed the Assassins Creed (Origins for example) Games lately.
I enjoyed Red dead redemption 2 and some GTA games which were open world games. Some had some great stotytelling.
but i only enjoying open world games actually
I agree, a linear design can oftentimes be the better choice than some open world that really lacks any actual variety and depth to it.
Bad open worlds are so tedious but i recommend Ghost of Tsushima. I think they did a good job with their open world
So so so true. I felt everything you just said. I always find myself going back for the games I grew up with. Half life being a ritual for me
1:42 game title?
Want to know the same.
@@adambalint4035 It's "Lunistice".
Searched with google lense
The one after it is ssx tricky.
it's lunistice
Very well said. I have also found myself revisiting older games. I recently quit Destiny 2 again and i feel so free
Load up a single player Ark and live your best life. Such a beautiful game
