I served with Gonzo.went to Basic Training with him in Ft Sill, OK in 03. We deployed to Camp Hovey South Korea together right after for 1yr. We further deployed to Ramadi Iraq in 04/05 together, & then to Ft Carson, CO until we went our separate ways..... he was a good man...frail & harmless.... so many good times/even through the bad.... I'm heartbroken over this...he was my lil bro..... .. 🇺🇲💔🇺🇲
I suppose the best I can do is to paraphrase Gen Patton, "we should not mourn these men, but give thanks to God that they lived." He went down fighting.
I like your idea to honor this officer and pay gratitude toward all federal LEO. 👍🏽 I keep finding new federal leo positions I have never heard of like the Federal Protective Service. They seem more like VA police but also have their own special agents. Do you have any desire to make a video discussing the difference in 1811 vs 1801 or going from a police position like VA police into an 1811 position
Honestly...DoD and Pentagon Police should be manned by Military Police like it always has been. That’s not a knock down on them, it’s just the position.
They really are the officers go to fletc receive over 13 weeks of training can enforce ucmj federal local laws where as military police is only trained in ucmj
@@leonkennedy7265 WTf are you talking about, DoD police are not considered federal agents. They do not even have covered law enforcement retirement...Neither does DLA or Pentagon police.
The suspect shud haven't got 2 close, he used a knife and the officer has a gun.....really? Hmmmmm....as an LEO never let any1 get 2 close.....I honor my oath 🎖🤚
The officer was on a Metro platform when he was attacked without apparent warning. If you're patrolling a Metro station, people are going to be close to you.

how is it that USSS, Park Police and Capitol Police get special law enforcement retirement, but Pentagon doesn't? they do the same job!

Still waiting for you to a video on DHS-Federal Protective Service and waiting for their 6c coverage.
Is it the legislation that needed to pass for retirement? My brother in-law is a Boston Officer.
Yes. It is stalled in Congress.
NSA Police are not covered under 6C as well.
Yup, most unformed federal police agencies are not.
I went to FLETC with a bunch of pentagon guys.
What do you do? Which agency?
Good day!

If you’re too scared to let citizens near you then you should find a new line of work
