I worked for TSA as an Officer for about two years and then applied for CBP as an officer as a GS9. I was a Pay Band E at TSA which is consider a lead (supervisor)level band. In addition, my Master's Degree allowed for my CBP application at a GS9. I went though the process for CBP but I turned it down to teach, I have a teaching license. I enjoyed federal employment but teaching I felt I would enjoy a little more. To get the CBP officer job working at TSA is a plus. Plus I also got the Capitol police job, turned it down only because of location. Thank you for explaining about federal law enforcement because the average person has no idea how hard and rewarding a career in federal law enforcement.

One thing that really comes handy for an applicant is his/her writing abilities.

I feel like in the Diversity Realm, US Marshals takes the cake! Lets not forget Bass Reeves who is the first African American US Marshal who entered the service. He spared no one including his own son😳

When I left California my informate was a old Navy Female told me information about the "Dirty Kids(Adult age males escorting)", what they wear, what they do, where they were going....to San Francisco CA had a 12 hour lead. But I told her I was on a mission from Gaia. Then she gave me their party thing place which was 900 miles from Exit 9 Lake Havana, AZ. I Contacted my CIA Uncle Salaam about the situation see if he wanted to get the CIA involved as I was traveling South. So I went where I thought they would Park. I waited an entire complete week for them to arrive like the information was said. But I was expecting more than 2 males and a female. They showed up overnight in a Newer VW Passat/Jetta 500ft from me. I was so nervous I was peeing out my butt during the week. I sent my Kuwaiti uncle pictures when they showed up. He only looked at them but said nothing🤷🏻‍♂️. The left in a box Orange Ford Escort 90' but showed up in Newer VW. I left and came back they were gone. Months later when I left New Orleans LA on Halloween evening the local Card Readers wanted me to beat up a guy but more of them why should I make it my problem. I left in hurry, I didn't know where to go. So asked my Pendulum ⚖️🧭👁️✨ where to go and lead me back to the Same Red headed male that was there the last time but with a different young white female, 1st one was Hispanic. Then I went to local grocery store employee told him what I saw and he told me the whole layout with police on payroll. IG Inspector General statement #2 online at Ft Lewis-McCord AFB Washington before I left USA.

are the dea and atf looking for more diversified options like the fbi? or will former active duty or law enforcement experience help alot? ive read somewhere that it’s more valuable to the dea and atf as they are more street based, rather than intelligence based like the fbi, if that makes sense.

Not so much. The FBI is becoming so intel driven that it really does not even resemble other agencies any more.
