I used to work and live in VA! I was a regional jail officer for RSW Regional Jail in Front Royal, VA. I have now moved to Indiana to marry my fiance. I am joining the local sheriff's officer as a Confinement Deputy looking to go to the road in year or two. Love your channel. Thanks for all the information. Interested in the USMS maybe later down the road.
Thanks for the positivity and encouragement. Watching your videos and cruising USAJOBS is my daily "me time". Hoping the persistence will pay off and we will all end up where we're meant to be.
Good video. I'm aware this was made last year but I agree it is important to not let yourself be discouraged. I'm 19 starting off with my first job in county corrections and would love to move up to U.S Marshal Service someday.
I’ll have a BA in CJUS, military exp., and an internship set up with the Marshals service in about 18 months, what do you think the odds are that I’ll get hired by the marshals? Any tips or advice to improve my chances?
Thank you sir. In your opinion what are my odds of obtaining a federal LE position after 4 years of Coast Guard service and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice?
@@federallawenforcementcaree9900 I am mostly interested in the marshal service but I will be applying to most federal agencies before I exit the coast guard in hopes to have atleast a few positive responses
I also was told what was Forbidden not to bring back, in that country. My Taser, Swiss Switch Blade and Custom Engraved Katana which I am to heavy(my other stuff) to move quickly. Like I was food poisoned in poisoned Intentionally Lily (H)Otel staff worker Laughing said Only God can Save you Now, laughing when I asked for toilet paper etc. Burping rotten eggs taste...So I need to store my stuff some where and get a better camera 📷 TSA stole mine, PX Sony Digital camera in Iraq bought in Iraq 08' and better laptop pay for electronics more expensive here.
Also if you bring the Beacon for Belt if trouble you can activate the Blood Chip belt I am wearing if we get into Trouble 9 Line medevac beacon to my location from Afghanistan OEF11. Was never told to sign it back over. Was never give a Beacon.
What requirements do you need to work for a federal detention center?? I thought about trying to apply at FDC Houston. Someone told me they’d hire me but I wouldn’t have a gun until I completed the FLETC. Would that be all I needed??
FDC is run by the Bureau of Prisons. They have a several week long course at Glynco for correctional officers. They are not permitted to carry a weapon unless on duty from what I understand.

Thank you for your kind words. Can you do a video about correctional officers
Thank you for all your videos! I have an interview coming up with one of your favorite agencies, please wish me luck and keep posting!
I will. Which agency?
Lack of communication.

I look forward to federal law enforcement after my military career.
Same, which agency are you wanting to get into?
@@forresthobbs2910 Marshals. If they aren't open at the time then border patrol.
Can you make a video talking about a “day to day” or “day in the life” off being a us marshal on the task force or court?
4:34
Would you consider doing one for Border Patrol as well?

Can you do a video on Dept of State Diplomatic Security if you know anything about that?
Will do
I think federal law enforcement is paid very well. It’s most local law enforcement that isn’t very competitive in regards to pay
True for most agencies/

I think you would have an excellent chance. Which agency or job are you most interested in applying for?
