I've never been so proud in my 37-ish years on this planet as I am everytime I tell people how amazing Nate Bargatze is, that he's from TN like me, play clips or his specials for others & see them light up & experience physical pain from laughter & joy! AND that's saying something bc I'm a momma & I have 2 kids & they're doing alright.... but we all LOVE Nate Bargatze! Hope to take my family to see him live soon! Stay blessed Bargatze family!
I always love when comedians are interviewed. It doesn’t matter what they are asked, they just shoehorn in their bit. “Are you setting resolutions?” “The other day I went to McDonald’s…”😂😂
Yea... we all kinda know that they're gonna do prepped bits, but this question-to-answer flow was SO obvious... I actually feel kinda bad for Nate here, even though the fault is on him for not flowing it well enough. I know the prepared the entire interview, but you can't blame Fallon here for Nate's robotic responses (not saying you did blame Fallon... but, still, just saying)
@@CJ-gy8ie is it possible that this is just how he thinks and speaks? If you follow Nate Bargatze, you may have heard his interviews on podcasts. He doesn't sit down and write jokes. He has specifically said that if he has an idea, he maybe writes "I eat a lot of sugar" on a piece of paper somewhere, and that's the last time he ever looks at it. After that he's talking it out on stage.
One of the first bits from Nate that put me on the floor was when he talked about his plan for dealing with a home invasion, mentioning "my wife sleeps closer to the door. She's pretty tough. She's from Alabama ........"
This interview was like another special in itself! Man Nate is so funny, so happy to finally see him blow up (and not because of the diabetes)! Hello Folks! 😂😂
I went to Nate's show in Reno back in July of 2021. Anyone that has followed Nate for a while knows that his dad is a magician/comedian and at the Reno show, his dad opened for him and was brilliant and hilarious. However, the most moving thing was how he closed his act and that was by saying, to a packed house by the way, "Thank you all for loving my son." It was so beautiful and moving and I just about get choked up thinking about it. Of course the crowd went nuts too. It was a great show and Nate was just as funny as always. It's great to see him doing so well.
I watched his netflix show and have been searching through youtube watching as many of his videos I can find. I love this guy, no screaming, yelling as if the audience is hard of hearing, just the perfect tempo. I can't get enough.
Me too and me neither! I found him on UA-cam, and I know that I've watched each of his videos at least 2 times! Everyone i send his videos to absolutely love him. He appeals to everyone!
😍😍😍😍😍😍 this guy. I loooooove him and rewatch his specials, interviews and any clip of him OVER AND OVER!!!!! He gets more good~looking every year. And his humor is stellar.
I grew up right where this dude lives in Old Hickory, Tennessee. It's so nice to see a home town guy doing us proud. He has quickly become my favorite comedian, bar none. And he does it all with clean material and total class. A testimony to the idea that you don't have to be raucous to be successful, relevant, and mainstream in stand up comedy. God's blessings on him.
He's such a humble, genuine, kind human. It would be awesome to be friends with him for so many reasons! I will always be grateful that one night I was alone and bored, having never watched comedians on TV before, I decided to try watching "The Stand-Ups." I've been addicted to him ever since! I've watched his Specials so much, I know every line! Haha!! *LOVE YOU NATE! YOU DESERVE ALL THIS SUCCESS!*
Nate is a gas. I like it when he ignores Fallon's question about resolutions. It seemed like Nate might work in a resolution response when he was talking about pre-diabetes, but no, he stuck with ignoring, which cracked me up.
“I ate gummy bears last night in the hotel and I didn’t want to but I love them so much… and I love French toast and pancakes, I eat them everyday and it makes me so tired.” 😂🤣 That was the best rant ever. I’ve definitely been there.

Hey Jimmy & The Tonight Show, this guy is SIMPLY THE BEST. I don't know why Nate is all of sudden blowing up but he is by far just the funniest nicest guy EVER. lol! great interview. (have him back! would love to see him and jimmy do a skit)!
Nate is my go-to comic for any time I need a chuckle (or belly laugh) at the end of the day, and I don't want to have to think too much (I go to Dave Chappell for that!), just relax before I go to sleep~ always with a smile on my face. My second choice for that is Leanne Morgan~ she's kind of the female version of Nate, but closer to my age. They're both fucking hilarious and all they have to do is casually talk about their lives and I'm rolling on the floor. If anyone reads this who hasn't seen the SNL he hosted not long ago, it's a MUST SEE!! Hilariously brilliant from opening monologue to every skit he was in!!!
After I watching this Tonight Show segment, I went to NetFlix to see what Nate is all about. He's terrific. There's one line, where he says to his wife ( when she tracks him via his phone to a Krispy Kreme shop) -------- "I can't live like this" --------- that just absolutely slayed me.

Nate's line delivery is so unique I love it. It has an air of laziness, boredom, and complacency, but it belies an intelligent side I think lol.

I loved how Jimmy asks Nate about his New Years resolutions and Nate disregards and immediately starts talking about McDonald's 😂
His New Years resolution is clearly to eat healthy haha

His joke about not being able to prove he’s from the future if he time traveled kills me every time!
