One of the biggest things he tried to hit home about (when talking to us guys) was to have unwavering confidence. Living in Boston, I saw Patrice and Bill Burr many times in the 90’s. I miss Patrice, he never gave a shit, had big balls and would rip on anyone or anything.
Bill seemed like a typical angry Boston comic, buy funnier than most. I knew he would keep getting better, but I had no idea he would be a top comedian. Patrice had a ton of confidence, had an insanely funny way of looking at life, with an I don't give a Fuc* attitude. It amazed me he never got recognized as a top comedian. No movies or late night shows, maybe they were afraid of him or he didn't kiss the right as*es.

I loved the friendship between Jim Carey and Rodney Dangerfield too. Jim told an awesome story on Howard Stern that let me know how much RD was definitely loved and respected before he passed.

I love Patrice and Joe, not too familiar with Nate(but I've seen his special, really funny), but what REALLY struck me was Nate's story of "barking" for the Boston comedy club. Wow, young comics have to do such hustle these days just to get 5 minutes on a good club.
