Fantastic review. I have a '24 Model 3 Performance like yours (Ultra Red, Black Interior) but the CyberTruck has been calling me. I plan to rent one before buying though. I'm thinking if I owned one I could rent it out on Turo, even if it's my only vehicle (I don't drive much). I really wish you would have shown whether this fits in your garage. This is a big question for myself and many others. The very first thing I'll do after renting one is to fit it into my garage and charge it with the Tesla Wall Charger. It should fit, but I don't know yet. I also think that the AWD version (0-60 in 4.1 seconds) is plenty fast for a vehicle of this size. Love that CyberTruck!
Had a connected backup mechanical steering column. Ct has no physical connection to the steering rack from the steering wheel. 👍🏻 Autoline channel has a great tear down series on the ct!
The guy owns a business so he can still qualify for the rebate through purchase as well as a lease for a business or individuals even with Ultra Red. Talk to your accountant to confirm!
My other car is also a previous gen Model 3 Performance. I've been very tempted to trade up for the new one, but to be honest... I can't stop driving the truck XD
CyberBeast is 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, M3P is 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, but is far more aerodynamic. The standard CT is AWD and gets to 60 in 4.1 seconds, about as fast as an older long-range Model 3 (without Acceleration Boost). Still, 4.1 seconds to 60 is insane for a CyberTruck!
@@Intervention302schweaty ballz, LOL 2:45 5:20 I paid $62k for a Model 3 Performance almost five years ago, but remember when they were pushing $80k new with FSP or enhanced auto pilot.
Cool video! I know they are two different vehicles but do you prefer your Model 3 Performance over a Cybertruck? Debating if I want to save myself 20-25k and get the Model 3
It's the Ludicrous graphic, but the top speed mode is called 'Insane'. Tesla doesn't mention Ludicrous when it comes to the Model 3 Performance though, even though they used the same graphic. :) It would have been cool if they called it the Ludicrous version. I got my Ultra Red free with FSD, yep. Effectively, lifetime FSD only costs $500 with this workaround.
@@spacep0d very cool! I'm enjoying my m3p highland. However, the insane graphic is different than the ludicris graphic. The colors are different and there are concentric boxes in the ludicris graphic. Insane doesn't have those.
@@CRPerformance1 Thanks for clarifying! I will definitely compare the two myself to verify, but it does make sense that Tesla would make a distinction. It's spelled "ludicrous', not how the rapper Ludacris spells it, lol. Tesla doesn't use the ludicrous word for the M3P, so I guess I'll call mine the Insane version too. :D
That's what the market will bear. People are curious, and it's cheaper to rent one than to buy one and regret it...or to find it doesn't fit in your garage.
And the EU gets LG batteries that don't provide enough power and overheat immediately on a track. Nice, Tesla. Thanks so much. No one will buy the car in the EU, lmao.
You are a clown, if you hate tesla why do I constantly see you writing comments on so many tesla videos? You got nothing better to do? Do you feel the need to trash talk a tesla because you own a car that costs 2x and need to let everyone know? Did you know the model 3 owner in this video also owns an 800 wheel horsepower terminator cobra that would easily drag your m4 comp?

Great video - would have love to see how the Cybertruck fits in your garage...
Was thinking about pulling in, but didn't want to risk hitting Cobra.
If Cobra wasn't there, for sure
Fits in my garage without any issue :)
nice vid, so cool!
7:50 correction - wouldn't Infiniti the first to do steer by wire back in 2014ish? I remember it had a lot of criticism when it came out.
Had a connected backup mechanical steering column. Ct has no physical connection to the steering rack from the steering wheel. 👍🏻
Autoline channel has a great tear down series on the ct!
Infiniti in 2013 with the Q50 was first production car to use steer by wire with physical steering column as backup
Correct, however the Cybertruck does NOT have a physical connection at all. I should have been more careful with my words

Ohhhh, I'll have to mention this to him. He's watching the video now so I hope he even sees the video

I want to see a Cyber truck race the new model 3 Performance
Cyberbeast is faster to 60 but loses the 1/4 mile.

Tell pops to get one of those cyberbeasts on order asap
He says it's so fugly that it's banned from his driveway
Do you guys live in NH
Cool Vid. What car company did you use to sell your old blue Tesla model 3? Thanks.
Key Savvy
Where’s Hawk Tuah ?
As to Cyber Truk, unless it’s a Cyber Beast, there’s a lot of trucks /SUV that’ll beat it including Rivian Quad Motor.
She's spitting on that thaaannngggg.
Wait, who exactly we talking about here
You mean Lexa? I hadn't considered she looks semi similar, but now that you say that lol.... She definitely is NOT spitting on that thing haha

Does it have a power outlet in the center console?
Yes there is a 110v outlet in the arm rest storage area.

I personally have no use/desire for a truck.
I prefer smaller, more nimble vehicles so the 3 is an easy choice
All colors are free when you order fsd now. The badge is a new "Insane" badge.

How nice video!Do you interested in product review? How can I contact with you?
LOL - $699 (plus taxes) per day? How much is that 'per second'?
Just a couple quarters.. lol
Roughly $0.008 a second. So just less than a penny a second
