I also have it in my AliExpress cart for the last week. And even if it doesn't let to focus on infinity (infinity?..), I don't care because all videos I've watched today are amazing (including your of course). Thank you for review! I'm going to buy it for my old father's soviet lenses for my eos m.

Hi Greg! Just wondering if there was any drop in sharpness from this speed booster? Also was the lens still capable of focusing to infinity?
Hey Will. I typically shoot 4k and render at 1080p and I've been super impressed with sharpness and overall IQ. Got to admit when I ordered this I was prepared to be disappointed but ended up not being. I'm sure if you blew up images in a side by side pixel peep, there would be some softening due to it just being another piece of glass in front of main glass. As for infinity focusing, tbh I never use that when filming
@@GreggMcLachlan thanks for the speedy reply! I’ll look into it. I shoot in 4k exclusively so would be interested to know how significant the loss in sharpness would be. The reason I ask about infinity focus is that some of my adapters don’t allow me to focus to infinity which is tiresome. :)
I just bought the 44-2 from Poland and a Pixco .7 speedbooster from China for $95, same as yours. I use it on a GH5S. Yesterday I received in the mail from Nazi occupied Ukraine another Helios. This time it was a 44-2 anamorphic for video. Haven't been out at night to try it yet. The low prices advertised on UA-cam have gone way up due to all the UA-cam hype. I just paid $135 CAD for each of mine.
