its done very well but in order to get the details correct hands on experience with vintage strats is a must. ide personally be fine correcting the small differences. the old necks have a pretty unique shape to them at the heel and wear the neck meets the headstock. all easy fixes. also the fret dots spacing at the 12th is correct but the dots themselfs are the wrong color..my dad worked in a vintage guitar shop wen i was growing up so i got to play some of the best golden era 50s and 60s gibsons fenders gretches you name it..i started copying old fenders wen i was a teenager in the early mid 90s before it was called relicing lol.

Hi Mike...l just contacted Cathy and programmed the construction of a replica of the famous Paul Kossoff Stripped/Unburst Les Paul he played at the Isle of Wight show with FREE...She told that there are no problems with my requests and in 75 days +or - l will have my Guitar here in Italy,near Venezia,where l live...if all goes well l Will have my Dreams Guitar for 415 Euro,(the Gibson Kossoff model,that is not the reissue of the stripped one but a simple '59 is about 12.000 euro by now)...Hope l will be enthusiast as you are when l will have the Guitar 🎸🎸❤️ l will keep you informed.cheers from Italy 🍻🍻🍻🤟👍

@marcozarattini1854 I haven't had to ever do a return, or get a refund. I do know from what others say that she always makes it right if anything is wrong.
I prefer to make my own relics, one day at a time.
SRV bought his already beat up used in a pawn shop in the early 80's. This is a fan guitar, and probably not for someone who doesn't know the history of the original.

these guitars looks great! However, my big problem with the Chibson's (or anything made in Asia) style guitars is that they never
(at least in my exp.) make the necks right... they are always just plain ole C's. This SRV guitar for instance is a signature strat and should have an SRV Oval C. Does It? If so that's rare.
The over seas (Chibson's) guitars I have seen all are just plain ole C's on the strats models and maybe a little thicker on the LP's.
If I want a signature strat, I expect to get that exact neck shape i.e. Eric Clapton's Soft V or Eric Johnson's soft V etc, etc. Seems like there is a lot of great looking and playing guitars coming from across the pond but... what I have seen is that the majority of them have only basic C necks...and for me that does not work. Oh, one last comment... most of these companies have etching machines that do metal etching and can make any word or design perfectly!
Besides that, It would be way too costly to use real Fender stamped saddles, neck plates or anything else for that matter on these inexpensive builds. Just my 2 cents worth. Peace.

theres only 1 bad thing in my mind about it...i dont like the fact ya have to remove the neck to adjust the trussrod...
possibly the "normal" runs of this one will have the adjustment up top....or maybe a wheel at the bottom?

The relic job looks more like a stenciled decal like some of the ltd guitars.
Not sure about the back plate, but the saddles are not genuine Fender. I’ve seen those before.. they are decent quality, but not genuine. There’s usually some slight difference in the lettering and sometimes the screws are a bit wiggly in the thread.
I have a New Fender Mexican Strat bridge sitting right here that is identical in every way other than being for a right handed strat. part number 005-9561-000 fits a 2006 and earlier. Mexico Strat. 2- 3/32 string spacing. The exact same font, screws and springs, and same skinny block. Purchased from a Authorized Fender seller on Ebay. This build was a prototype so many liberties were used. This is not the usual Chinese SRV you see on AliExpress. Much more care and attention was given .

bar magnet pickups are trash but the guitar looks good, just by some picks to switch out
Man, I ordered something off aliexpress, and I got a complete stinker. The pickups are just complete junk, well the one that works anyway, set up is all wrong, color is way off, very rough frets. Haven't even popped it open to actually look at the wiring yet, part of me just wants to throw it in the trash, but I figure I'll just replace the pickups and hardware and wiring and everything with the Wilkinson stuff,
Remember when you order a Chinese guitar no matter what they say it's going to be at least 2 - 3 months before you get your guitar I'm waiting on a Firebird now
All depends on various factors. USA stock is very fast. Off the shelf from China - 2 weeks or less. Custom builds 1-3 months. Complicated custom builds. 3 -6 months. USA stock is usually 10 days or less. Anything coming though customs can be 24hrs hold to 4 weeks hold. That's with any item coming through customs. Not just guitars.
