Hi, thanks for the video. You don't need to assign the same material one by one to other objects. Just select which meshes you want to assign a specific material and select the mesh(you should select last this one) which has that material and CTRL + L + Material from the menu.

How much pre-planning do you do?
I gather few references and do a sketch, so 1-2 hours of prep :)

Wow. You just keep blowing my mind. Could you possibly do a commentary video like the cyberpunk one with this video. I'm super interested in the details of your partical system for the trees and ESPECIALLY the grass. I'm a super noob with blender. Got a couple months of practice under my belt. Your videos help me sooooooo much. But I am super fascinated by the partical systems you used. Tried slowing down the video, but it's still so fast to keep up with. Love your work. Your literally my favorite blender tutorialist.

When moving the keyframe on the timeline, only leaves and grass fall down. Is there any way to fix it?
Yeah, you can set physics to NONE in particle settings

@@polygonrunway youre welcome! so there is a very easy way, you just checkbox the statistics in the viewport options and mark all the objects at once, then it shows you the amount in the corner. im planning of making a little low poly game and it would be interesting to see how much vertices a detailed tile like yours would need :)
