- 👋 Here is my take on the classic '5 Things I HATE' about my car video! To be very honest, I genuinely have no real complaints with the Gallardo. Owning this car has been an 18 year dream to do, and my LP550-2 lives up to everything I hoped it could be! I love how raw and dramatic the Gallardo drives and the character is unmatched! Everything that's a bit odd about the Gallardo just adds to the unique experience and I wouldn't have it any other way. However, here are basically the 5 things that will take some getting used to with owning and driving a Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 and things that might be things to hate depending on your own taste in cars. I will say I wish this had a trunk button on the key fob. The Audi R8 has one and was literally built off the Gallardo platform. So I really don't see why Lamborghini didn't add one on the 2nd generation car. I do use the front trunk a lot and it's silly o have to drop everything, open the door and grab the manual latch. Interior has some odd ergonomics that take getting used too. The dash does have some glare. But if you were polarized sunglasses on the sunny days, you will eliminate that. People hating the E-Gear transmission who have never driven one is annoying to hear. You can't have an opinion about something if you have no seat time behind the wheel. And just blindly listing to the 'big' reviewers who always compare this to a modern DCT is pointless. You're missing the point with this transmission. It's fun and raw to drive. Thats the point! So overall if you want a super fun and character filled car, the Lamborghini Gallardo is the way to go! If you want a soft, easy to drive car that just looks good and on paper has the numbers, maybe try something else. The Gallardo is still wicked fast and it truly offers something unique! In this video, I'll share the 5 things I hate (not really) about my Lamborghini Gallardo. Owning a supercar like this definitely takes some getting used to! But it's all worth it!

For sure! I probably went to every car show each weekend for the last 2 months 😅. A bit burnt out now and trying to be on the lake during the weekends now.

Oh gotcha! I used to do that when I had the GTR. But I got board. Would rather just be in the moment and enjoy those. I'm not really a fan of vlogging my day to day stuff. Rather just soak in the fun

Oh yeah I agree. I don't change gears in hard turns in this. Very unsettling. So maybe that was their design reason lol. To make people only change gears going straight
Just out of curiosity, why did you make your lambo in a battery charger? If the battery dies after several weeks not driving, can you just jumpstart it?
It’s best to keep a car on a tender to prolong the battery life and maintain the electronics. In my GTR I never had to worry about the battery life since I kept it on one when I knew I wouldn’t be driving it. My motorcycle I did the same thing and the battery lasted over 7 years never failing me. Just good practice on cars that aren’t daily driven. I drive the Lambo a lot. But sometimes I might not drive it for a week or two
Love the Lambo and that V10 sound. Although I must say you break the mold for a stereotypical Gallardo owner. You need a bunch of tacky Lambo merch, several gold chain necklaces under an open collar shirt unbuttoned to your navel and a vanity plate that says "BULLOWME". LOL. :)
haha yeah I'm probably the only Lambo owner thats packs a lunch when going out for the day I this car ;)
And the shirt I'm wearing in this vid I made with my wife's Cricut. So I'm definitely not the typical owner
The writing is on the wall, this and next couple of years is the last opportunity to buy these cars, Gallardos, Huracan, R8 will double in price I'm guessing in 5 years. Even "hated" cars like last NSX will.
Yeah I can see that! Much more fun be in these types of super cars. I don’t think the upcoming versions will be as fun
awesome! How much you pay for insurance for this beautiful Lamborgini per month?
I pay in full and it's only $1,500 per year for full coverage. Really nothing crazy to insure

@@johny3133 For real! I was a bit nervous about what it would cost. I guess these don’t get driven that much and since some of these are close to $80k. It’s not really that expensive overall of a car
BONUS DISLIKE: The pronunciation. Many people in Malaysia who spotted a Lamborghini Gallardo often pronounced it GALARDO and that's not what I want. As you mentioned earlier, it's pronounced GAYARDO.
Yeah very good point! I say it how the Italians say it. Most people say it with the Y in the middle rather than the LL sound
