Yes!! The Diablo SE30! I had the Top Gear Magazine double-page photo hung on my wall. I adored that car so much, I even remember which issue it was in; August 1995, if I’m not mistaken. Still the best looking car I’ve ever seen in my life.

I came to your channel in December when the office was quiet and I was looking for UA-cam videos on my car (a Jaguar XK); you'd recently put out a video on the XKR, which I enjoyed. Anyway, I've been working my way through an increasing number of your videos posted in the last two years and have finally "caught up". They get better and better. I also really enjoyed the lockdown "Transmission whine" segments, so look forward to hopefully seeing more of those when the weather gets more inclement. @@Nord_Mann lmao dude it just sounds like the alignment is fucked. A pretty modern lambo shouldn't be doing something like that if it's maintained properly makes no sense.
My only Lambo experience was a Gallardo Spyder on a track and I thought the interior wasn’t as special as I’d hoped for. But given was a car for experience and track days it had obviously seen better days. In my head I expect all super expensive cars to be the highest quality inside, learning not necessarily the case.
So weird, never seen one of these before and then I just saw one last weekend, in black also, it was e-gear though, the stripe was more gold and it had different wheels to this one. Unfortunately unless you know what it is you don't think it's anything other than a Gallardo, my brother was quite puzzled why I was so excited to see it. LOL

I would have been fretting how close Damian was driving to the lorry in front and how many stone chips it was making! IMHO you chose the right one first - may be get a Gallardo for 200K subs...
I preferred the Mk1 V10 Plus R8 to this, hence why I bough it. Lamborghini has the badge no question, but in V10 Plus form the R8 is a better car IMHO. 43,000 miles later I still think this.
German Lamborghini is definitely a different beast to the Italian Lambo. During my early teenage years I was privileged to be a passenger (illegal to drive at age 13 lol) in a Urracco - I assume it was the 2.5 litre variant. It sounded absolutely awesome. Unfortunately, it spent more time at the mechanic than on the road which is why the owner would often pitch up in a Hillman Avenger estate 🤔. The speedometer didn't work, benzina gauge......... depends on the type of corner you are taking.... and the engine bay was saturated with a black substance (probably oil) 😆. Fond memories though. 👍👍
the 2nd gerneation lamborghini gallardo in my eye is the ultimate attainable super car, its the best looking and best sounding of its competitors. the ferrari 360 and the audi r8 v8 are the only cars id put near it but the audi doesnt have the same prestiege as a lambo even though theyre both under the same umbrella.
This was a great review. You made some very important points; why is Balboni manual so much more expensive than a production 550-2 when they are mechanically the same car? Also, I thought the steering would be more agile with the front diff removed. I really think you will have an great experience driving a manual Murcielago. The balance of a V12 is different to a Gallardo as the Gallardo has the gear box behind the engine whereas in the V12 Lambos the gear box is infront of the engine. Also, the sheer width, sound and power of the Murcielago makes it hard work to hustle down a tight wiggly B road. Just some other things- the sound and exterior shots were excellent. I would have liked to see the engine bay. Anyway, it was a great video.
I have a Balboni and I think you need to check the tyres and the tracking set up - the steering wheel does indeed centre but the brakes are not the best and I am having mine changed. I personally think the 550 is ugly as sin so just shows beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder!
Absolutely nowhere in the same league, but I had the chance to follow my beloved Alfa the other day; I know what you mean about seeing your car from behind.
The Lamborghini Gallardo as the older 911 Porsche and now the Aston Martin Volant and numerous Ferraris etc etc all seem to have forgotten that these older super cars were fabulous in the real world of town driving, being easy to place on the road in heavy traffic and easy to park for those of us that can afford a super car and want to use it.. the G. is a great all-rounder but I've always thought that the firing order quite ruins the "zingy" nature of what a V10 should be (which is the sound of the Carrera GT). The G and R8 sounds muscular etc etc but the engine sounds no different to a Maserati V8 in principle so having two extra cylinders is pointless in terms of sound.
