I agree! Sometimes all it takes is for a conversation like this (like, you get all the info you need WITHOUT direct confrontation) for certain unsure or nervous criminals to open up. Her body language told me "I want to tell you what I did, I realized it was wrong, but I'm nervous" and this helped!

Amazing the way way the investigator that's interviewing her ignores her drama and normalizes her actions to get her to keep telling every detail. He's an amazing actor to face that interview without skipping a beat in front of that monster.

Right?! I am a camper, hiker & love being outdoors. I don't have a gorrot in my gear, even though I do have knives, a hatchet, and some other things that could be used as weapons. I even put a lot on my car for winter if I get stranded. No way could I just whip it out during a fight though.

I agree. And I believe she's lying about him coming after her. This was premeditated murder. It's unfathomable to me how she planned his murder and then to try to cover her tracks she did what she did. If I accidently smack my husband while reaching for something I feel so badly about it. I can't imagine all the things she did. It's beyond heinous. She needs to be locked away for life.

Really? Even though it was fairly obvious she was lying and her guilty. I found his arrogance and condescension while talking to her, scratch that, while interrupting and talking over her, soooo obnoxiously irritating i almost turned the video off. i know he felt smooth seeing through her BS, but at least let her finish burying herself. He was the exact opposite as friendly, patronizing is not friendly, he's lucky she kept talking, but i assume loneliness and mental health is what kept her talking, not that arrogant fool.

When you showed pics of the PSYCHO Angela, she really does have a crazy look in her eyes ..even in the younger school photo. Almost a scary look. Idk..just kinda gave me those vibes. This is just so disturbing on so many levels. I’m to the point where nothing really shocks me anymore though..and that’s not good. The scariest part is I have a teenage daughter that has to grow up in this world. Parenting is hard enough as is, but how do you keep your children safe when so many of these crimes are committed by people the victims knows and trusts?? Makes me sick to my stomach. True, but at the same time, it’s good to get to know your neighbors and have friends also for this reason - people that will know when something is wrong with you, people that call and check up on you when something is off, and people that will know immediately when something is out of character for you.
See: Shannan Watts and her friend Nicole and their neighbor - people that knew immediately when something wasn’t right due to prior interactions with them, behaviors they were able to recognize as being off, and routines being out of the ordinary.
If they had been a recluse and completely shut off the world from their home, that case could have went entirely different.
The supposed “friends” in this video pertaining to this case was off from the get go, especially where money is involved to cause such animosity - it’s never a good foundation for an actual friendship. Both of them doing things that should’ve had both recognizing it’s just a toxic friendship that neither should have.
It’s good to have friends. It’s good to interact with others and be apart of a community. It’s good to know your neighbors and look out for one another. Just be wise with your surroundings and who you interact with. Know boundaries, set them, mutually respect them, etc.

You mentioned hoarding, dirty house, awake all night, drinking, taking anxiety medication and when asked about the smell she said it was a rat baking in the oven! 😮 This all points to a very mentality disturbed person. In Angela's mind this man coming by and having a drink and talking to her when the world was sleeping was the greatest thing in her life and Jimmy asking her for more money broke her and made her feel used. So in her broken mind she killed him to protect herself from financial ruin. In her insanity this all makes sense and she's the victim. Very tragic, I hope her children are receiving mental health care.

Recently watched this case on some TV show. It portrayed James as a man who "endeared"and wormed his way into this mentally ill, lonely woman's life. The show indicated he had a gambling problem and borrowed from others as well. Apparently his wife and son were oblivious to the fact he was "borrowing" so much money from Angela. Didn't they wonder where the extra $$ came from? James basically extorted money from Angela so his family could have "everything they deserved". NOT that this is a reason to brutally kill someone, of course. The show made him out to be a great guy-AGAIN-what he did didn't have to result in his murder. Just another very sad case.

What a strange dynamic. It sounds to me like she convinced him to get SSID benefits when he was still able to work. She talked him into letting her be the payee, for 100$ a month, supposedly. Who was profiting from who here? Then his gambling got all of them in hot water and it pissed her off. Where was his wife during all this? She is just fine with her husband hanging out with the weird drunk lady next door??

    • @london5945

Na I think as soon as she learned he had a gambling problem she talked him into doing the benefits and letting her be the payee so she could murder him and keep collecting the check and make it seem like he was hiding out. I think she premeditated the whole thing and even made that strangling tool and got the ice pick just for that reason

I was not a military child but we moved every 4 to 5 months growing up. I was the new kid in school my whole life. It is very hard for me to bond with people but murder is beyond my capabilities. Experiences like that either makes you or breaks you. It obviously broke her.

    • @KolorfulDreamsArtKda
      @KolorfulDreamsArtKda 11 місяців тому +1

I was a military kid and I was always the new kid in school (I also have a thyroid condition...scary!!!).
I never learned to bond with people, I'm a very solitary person but that's fine by me because I don't feel the need to socialize, I like being by myself or with my husband.
I think the military environment is very toxic for children growing up in military families. I once spoke to a military psychiatrist and he told me there was a high rate of suici*e in military families. I had some behavioral issues as a kid, but I grew out of them and nowadays, if I thought someone was taking advantage of me (like she thought he was doing) I'd ask the police to intervene and let them handle it, there's no way I'd be killing someone and trying to cook him.
I do understand she had a rough childhood and youth, I know how it feels, but it doesn't give her the right to gruesomely murder people.

She was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life without parole in 2014. It’s very very difficult to get off on insanity. Only a very small percentage of defendants successfully execute an insanity defense. You have to prove the defendant was so far removed from reality they didn’t know right from wrong. She clearly knew what she did was wrong, evidenced by the elaborate lie she told detectives to try to claim self defense. She was clear and coherent in her interviews and in all communication with detectives and the court and she didn’t show an ounce of remorse during her trial.
